Unfortunately, unless Crypto's race is looking to harvest tedium and repetition from our earthly minds, he's better off just harassing than destroying them. [Sept 2005, p.90]

From flying around your very own ufo, sucking up cows (Classic!), cars, humans, destroying buildings. And even on foot it just keeps getting better and better. With a decent storyline for a game like this, it's a great pickup from '05. You'll be facing everything the human race can throw at you, military, even the Majestic 12! I highly recommend it if you're into alien games with humour. And when you've completed the game, you can always go back to the "zone/maps" and replay them as much as you want. Excellent game if you love replay games. Full Review »

A really fun and unique idea at the time. Destroy all Humans just was a ton of fun with some really great characters. Crypto is basically JackA really fun and unique idea at the time. Destroy all Humans just was a ton of fun with some really great characters. Crypto is basically Jack Nicolson playing a sadistic little alien that isn't that bright.

Crypto is just a riot. Everything and anything he says just cracks me up.

However the game is not flawless. For all the good there is also bad. Controls are a little weird at time and the possession mechanic a bit too strict. For a game that requires you to hide and remain out of sight, it really has poor stealth mechanics. Gameplay on the whole is rather bland and feels like a dumbed down version of GTA.

Saucer mode is Awesome! A shame it could not of been utilized better.

    Overall:
Destroy all humans, as the first game in the series, is a great game. Deeply flawed as you can see the developers are still getting their bearings, but this can be overlooked as it has a funny story and some truly memorable and well written characters.
