Utterly bland game with a few original ideas which have been let down by repetitive uninspiring game play. Avoid this like the plague!

Truly the best of the Clock Tower series. A perfect blend of puzzles and underwear soiling scares!! The cut scenes are brutal and violent just how I like them and for me anyway, the game has come back appeal again and again.

This game is one of the most highly inappropriate games I have ever played. The game developers and KINJI FUKASAKU should be ashamed to make such(can't find a better word) SICK game...I was appalled to see a little(age6 or 7) year old girl get smashed in the face by some grotesque freak 15 minutes in the game... Ok, I am well old enough to buy M rated games, but what about the kids that actually buy this sick Japanese game... Maybe its ok in japan to see a little girl brutally killed, but over in these post 9/11 times its highly disturbing....This game should have clearly have had a rating off A(adult).... Even big budge Hollywood movies don't show the suffer-cation of little children to that extent, it doesn't make it right that this is a just a game....It comes of as sick and almost perverted to see such a sight in a game, Maybe Kinji Fukasaku likes to animate and create such graphic scenes(they actually sat down and thought this up and created it), but over here in America, we don't want Capcom's(Fukasaku) disgusting garbage..... A decent enough game but too much running away from the stalkers makes the game a big pain in the buttcheeks and it is a tad on the short side.

Next time understand not everyone tolerates garbage like this. I read from a videogame mag, that the guy who made this game was heavy into bondage movies and teens, and made a few him self. I also heard the guy who created the game died,Best news i got of of this game!

I thought the game was freakin awesome. The Cutscenes were incredibly well designed and this is the only game that ever made me jump and turn off the system. All these people are like its stupid to watch lil kids get killed, but does this mean its ok to watch adults get killed? I think of it as the same thing. The whole game from beginning to end leaves your heart pumping. I gave it an 8 I thought the game was freakin awesome. I gave it an 8 though because I couldn't finish this game without a strategy guide, id rather not be lost while a 10 foot monster with a sledgehammer is chasing me around. Plus the British girl in the skirt was damn hot lol, well i thought so anyway. Bottom Line: The whole game is awesome except for the fact the game is so damn confusing, and sometimes u dont know where u r going. Expand

Okay Rick, I'm gonna need you to shut up now. Stop judging the game based solely on your own moral codes and look to the aspects of the game instead. It IS a horror game, it is SUPOOSED to be horrifying. And just what the heck does 9/11 has to do with the game? Maybe you should stick to the boardgames?

Very scary game, but not the best survival horror. The stalkers are on to you all the time, leaving almost no time for thinking. Should have been less run-and-hide more puzzle.

Based on jap version: Great game in a way great voice acting guess it be the same for usa version, great way of running away from killer, reminds me of the redsident evil nemisis but combat is not very good in which you use holy water to fight, and mainly you just run. You fight the killer near end of stage with a crossbow. Puzzles to sovle etc. The cutscenes are great. Once done you get like a gallery, and a key for alternate costumes, also playing second time, the bosses have different weapons thats it really. If completed again, no more save file after. So only take bout few days to complete, so it's a rent and a must play for me. Expand

It's beat! the panic meter kills the game--whenever something exciting is happening, you have to "run" away. The scariest part of the game is how stale it feels.

With a captivating story, gameplay, and well thought out races/enemies, Clock Tower 3 offer what I would call a hard to put down game, in my experience this game gave me much enjoyment and scares that most horror games offer little, their are good horror games but this one took the cake.

Clock Tower 3 starts real good, and for the most part, it goes that way. I read some reviews that gave a bad score or bad comments to this game mostly because they find it pretty gruesome and horrific, and I understand that at times it can be hard to swallow, but, It's important to note that this game is not aimed for children or people that can be easily offended or triggered, it depicts bad people doing bad things like murder in cold blood and mostly, it's a survival horror game, so if you're one of those persons I suggest that you don't play this game and move on and don't hurt niche videogames just because you don't stand it and can't have an objective opinion, but if you like a good survival horror game, you're on a good track.

Although it's by no means a perfect game it delivers, for the most part, starting with the atmosphere and the music, this game knows what is doing, the stage design is really good and spooky at least for the first half of the game, there are also nice jump scares that are quite effective but don't overstay its welcome, the passing is also great, you can finish it in roughly 7 - 8 hours and you barely felt them, the story is in general good, I didn't love the big twists but they're interesting to say the least, about the story, there is certain character that I hate and went to awkward comic relief to super important character, his writing wasn't good and the actor was also not great, it feels unnecessary and also brokes the immersion.

Gameplay wise, it is kind of a graphic adventure: you explore the environment, find clues and items and with that said items, do a little back tracking and open new areas, the twist is that you have a pursuer on every stage, think of it like a 'Nemesis' enemy, you can run from them but it's kind of tricky, you don't have a health bar, instead you have a panic bac, when it feels up you enter a panic state where your character does things erraticly and can't interact with anything, if you're hit in this state, you'll die, although I find this system pretty great, it also has the main problem of this game: its gameplay, although is not incredibly bad it is stiff for the most part, when you're running away, your character's turns and movement feel sluggish and mechanic, while your pursuer's movement and attack are quite flexible and fast, it works but if it had more refinement it would be better, speaking of the pursuers, they're the bosses of every stage, I won't spoil the fights but even when they keep the stiff controls they can also be very cathartic, since the 2nd fight I was really into destroy the bosses and that feeling never fade away.

As I told you, it's far from a perfect game but it sure is a good one or at least a competent one, it seems that nowadays it's kind of cheap collector's game, if you somehow manage to find it in a good price, go for it, it doesn't seem to be getting cheaper so if you really want to try it go for it as soon as possible.

To be fair, the animations and cutscenes are very smooth and stand out for a early 2000s game, but everything else was pretty much forgettable. Technically OK, with loading times to move between areas being very brief, almost unnoticeable, though it's slow to open the inventory. It's heartbreaking for me to bad talk about a game, since it's the sort of entertainment I enjoy the most, and I respect the developers' hard work, but they should have sought a format other than videogame to present it, be it anime, movie etc. The "horror" of survival horror, its genre, stands for how horrible Clock Tower 3 is as a game. Best game in The Clock tower series and the best survival horror game in history along with Haunting Ground. Soo deserving of a re-release. I Still play it yearly. Definitely not too short as critics claim. The earlier games were shortest of all, boring, and not 3D with only 1-2 different stalkers. Clock tower 3 is new and bery improved compared to the earlier games

An absolute bonkers game with some surprisingly effective sequences and chase segments. Unfortunately this game drags hard in the back half. The game gets quite repetitive and there's very little to it beyond some fairly basic elements. Still with how absolutely unhinged this game is it's quite fun to play ironically.

Visually and aesthetically, it was just amazing. Mecanically, it lacked depth, and as far as i remember there was no reason to beat it again afterwards, but i still remember some of the cutscenes and some of the enemies that chased you around lol.
