Zenzizenzic is rapid, colorful, simple, and just about as much fun as you can have playing a video game.

Bullet hell has never looked this beautiful.

Zenzizenzic is a beautiful, fun and deadly shot of abstract twin-stick bullet hell madness, but with a little experience and a lot of technique, the massive firepower coming your way turns into a bullet-filled playground of fantastic precision gaming.

Zenzizenzic is a fantastic bullet hell experience that manages not only to delight longtime genre fans, through its Classic mode, but also to add innovation with its Macro experience.

Simply one of the best twin stick shooter available on Steam, fun and artistically inspired.

Compared to the complete content package that is Geometry Wars 3 the meager five levels of Zenizenzic doesn’t seem like much. But those five levels challenge you beyond belief.

Zenzizenzic is a neat take on bullet hell, sans the Anime kitsch that it's usually wrapped in. For a debut project it shows professional execution and polish, and the catchy soundtrack should sweep players off their feet. With a price around ten bucks, it's a must-see for fans of the genre.

It's 2D, it's evil, it's trippy, but it's never frustrating. Zenzizenzic (try saying it fast for three times) fuses classic mechanics from old arcade shooters and modern elements. It's only weakness is the limited amount of this elements, but it's still a great choice for those who love the genre.

One of those rare games that manages to do something new and different without changing anything relevant in its genre. Maybe it's because of it's art, maybe not... but the case is that this unpronounceable game nails it.

Twin-stick shooter Zenzizenzic offers a pure adrenaline rush with a fantastic soundtrack. Thanks to its roguelike macro-mode every game is different.

In the end, Zenzizenzic is a great game for those who like the twin stick shoot-em-up genre, but may be looking for something with a little more to it.

While Zenzizenzic isn’t going to set the world on fire with its visual style or gameplay innovations, it’s a solid bullet-hell shooter with a kick-ass soundtrack that’s modestly priced.

Don't be fooled by the game having "five levels" in its arcade-ish mode - those levels are gigantic and tough, and the Macro mode is even crazier and infinite, given the random nature of roguelikes. If you're a shmup fan like me, this is a must-buy. Full Review »
