JonathanG.Apr 2, 2004It's good for beginners but it's getting lame-o in just a short period of playing it... The graphics are what it's only perfect but the others...

DamonB.Mar 1, 2004This is the worst game ive ever played, you just duel yugi over and over with sucky cards. Plus, you always "win" a Exodia or dark magician. I think konami should kill the people who invented this crappy game.

MarcinX.Feb 17, 2004This game is fun.

LeeR.Feb 2, 2004This is a brilliant game can i say any more not 100% the best game has a few downsides ie playing yugi over and over again you could play different people.

wiLLY.Mar 4, 2004This game was disappointing, it lacked in just about every area. The game play gets repetative an boring. Yugi cannot get new cards therefore you are playing the same cards and same person in every match. This game is seriously not worth buying unless a HUGE yu gi oh fan.

DanielB.Jan 22, 2004This game is a joke, all you get to do is battle yugi over and over, the only good thing about the game is the graphics but every thing else sucks. I am ashamed i spent $20 on this stupid game, konami needs to recall this game before people start losing business from this horrible game.

MarceloG.Jan 7, 2004The game is great, except some details it is one of the best yu-gi-oh games of ever!

FrankC.Feb 25, 2004This game sucks. The graphics are better than the other games, but you only fight against yugi always, and you kick his ass again, again and again. Maybe, someone who doesn`t know how to play, he or she can find the game a good tool for learning. Also, you always get the same cards, this is something that konami has to fix in the next game(kaiba`s revenge).

NigelMay 3, 2004This game is the bomm.man totally great.

-
KevinN.May 31, 2004You only challenge yugi. when you play against Kaiba you can't take cards and form a new deck. Not only that, you keep getting the same cards over again. Why have 4 of one card when you are only allowed to use three. The game boy version is much better.

For Yu-Gi-Oh! fans, the meager options make it less attractive than one of Konami's dozen or so other, more fully featured Yu-Gi-Oh! games, and to players who don't already have an investment in the series, it has about as much to offer as a game of solitaire.
-
PC GamerSimply missing too many features to justify the purchase. Collectible-card-game fans should opt for "Magic: The Gathering Online" instead, so they can face truly challenging opponents: other human players. [Apr 2004, p.83]
-
Computer Games MagazineWith the addition of any type of multiplayer Yu-Gi-Oh! would have been a solid competitor to other CCG videogames on the market. As it stands, it's merely a satisfying and addictive upgrade to Solitaire. [June 2004, p.81]
