    Class balance still an issue in all regards. I guess makes sense, classes not finished. I thought there would be more than just new zones.

    Прекрасный старт дополнения : ни лагов, ни багов, ни очередей.
    Интересный сюжет и сеттинг, приятные глазу локации, адекватное возвращение старых героев и злодеев. Пока что выглядит очень круто.

    Game has much to improve on. Some zones are nice, some are boring. No new class or major feature. Didnt research game ahead of time, was my mistake.

    Not a bad start. The visuals are incredible and the mechanics have improved. But it was the same with Draenor, so it's too early to judge definitively.

    The reason why I just hate this game is because of how they are stepping away from the original gameplay that we all once loved. The thing is, in dungeons and open world content you get these unique abilities which is ok but you have to do all of the quest in order to unlock more in the game. So you cannot dungeon grind your way to max level or do battlegrounds, you have to QUEST.     Близы, спасибо. Очень ждал это дополнение и не зря. Прохождение компаний как в первый в вове. Интересный сюжет, прикольные кат-сцены. Норм арена. Рейды думаю тоже будут на высоте. В общем спасибо за работу.

    Absoluetly amazing expansion. Better than legion which was very good.
    It's an apotheosis from every point of view : Universe, graphics, history, music, group activity...
    If you don't like Shadowland, go back to classic. Retail isn't for you.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Leveling actually has stories, which is strange for wow. But leveling doesn't make an expansion good, it's just a piece of the puzzle. While I think the story in Ardenweald might be the best in the history of the game in terms of a leveling zone story, (SPOILER: Finding out Ysera was the seed and the payoff cinematic at the end might literally be my favorite WoW moment ever, seriously, I have goosebumps right now thinking about it.) I don't think that alone is what makes this good.

    Firstly lets talk alts. Google the catchup mechanics and also threads of fate. It's one of the best systems they've ever put in the game and it's a game changer.

    I also want to talk about end-game. Dungeons are fun and not too tedious like most in BfA were, the M+ portion is going to be a blast. There seems to be interesting mechanics in each that will hopefully prevent things from getting stale.

    Importantly we need to discuss gear. There is no more incentive to just grind the same repetitive content over and over again once you get your item as was the case with titanforging. If you get lucky on your first dungeon run with all of your BiS pieces? You don't ever have to go there again. You're done. From then on you only have to worry about doing M+. This also applies to the world quests and the other methods of acquiring gear. For the first time in the history of the game they are removing RNG time-gates. You can target and craft your legendary items, no RNG. No titanforging. Less RNG and more rewards from the weekly chest. It's all amazing, it's what these things should have been from the start.

    This expansion is WoW's renaissance. It's got it's flaws, but on the scale of previous WoW expansions, something drastic would have to happen to make this not a 10.    … Expand

    The Zones are the most incredible zones I have ever seen in the World of Warcraft, there's a lot of the old kill x, or loot x amount of garbage quests but they're presented in a more flashy way that breaks up the flow in a more interesting way, also there are a few more innovative quests with flashier mechanics that caught my attention such as a room in Revendreth where you need to stand in as many diminishing circles before objects fall down and you need to catch as many as quickly as you can to do the quest efficiently.

    The PvE content seems to be as good as ever, still need to do the dungeons on mythic + to get a great feel for them and the Raid has yet to come out. So far seems great!

    The expansion overall seems like a much bigger, better deal than Battle for Azeroth and I feel like Blizzard put a lot of heart and soul into the making of this! Thank you for self quarantining people, stay safe!

    I have played for about 24 hrs during the time of writing this review, and while I do not think it's fair to judge a WoW expansion after such a short time it still doesn't make this less credible than the baseless review bombing.    … Expand

    -No new races
    -Only temporary new abilities/traits to be wiped at the end of the expansion
    -Still nothing done to fix UI/server/faction problems
    -Leveling basically deleted instead of fixed.

    Feels like a solo game, way too much cut scenes and 0 combat. Skills and talents are meanless gear system is bad and once again they've ruined pvp. This game is no longer an mmo game. The world feels empty, servers are empty.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Why people are giving low rates for this game without any explanations? I will try to be as down to earth as possible and will give you advantages and disadvantages that I found after 12 hours of playing. Pros:
    - Our lovely cinematics are on the next level now. Lips sync, true emotions, moves - it looks so fresh so after I saw it in the game I ran to YouTube to rewatch it a couple times. Very hard work was done. (This is what you will notice firstly)

    - Story. Despite the fact it is only the beginning of 1.5 year journey, the whole storyline feels like good first season of a series with general conclusion at the end but with the tease of something greater upcoming. I cannot imagine what blizz has prepared for us... especially last cinematic in the maw... it destroyed my mind.
    I have so many questions now and I understand that answers will be soon. Like, IN THIS EXPANSION! Not in 3 years, it will happen soon.

    - Leveling. Omg BFA was so goddamn boring, so the only way to get highest lvl for socond char was freehold for gold. This time I’m exited to go through whole adventure again. I’m playing with Russian language, so I can tell only for Russian version, but acting was the best of all. I felt so into it, every meter of covenants was a pleasure to explore and to help npc’s :D
    Leveling is fast, not boring (almost), and main thing here is - main story now is separated by side quests - covenant “battle pass”
    I haven’t dived too deep into this new system but the way how we receive awards feels fresh and fare. Cons.

    - bugs.bugs.bugs. But it will be fixed anyway
    - Ardenweald. This type of zone we have seen in every last expansion. Blue forest with some magic. From the first quest I was thinking that I want to skip this zone faster. But the story turned out very, I mean, VERY INTERESTING. Ending costs it’s waiting.
    - local quests are hard for solo now. You need to do them for covenant, but effort is unequal to reward. - bugs.bugs.bugs.
    - Maw feels annoying now, always-in-combat-zone. But later you will upgrade urself with special tokens so it must be not that bad. - this expansion is expecting from you A LOT OF FARMING if you want this shiny covenant gear, covenant mount etc. Like, A LOT. 2 hours per day will be not enough at all to get everything until 9.1


    Overall, feels fresh, interesting, there is a lot to come, I really hope Shadowlands will be better than legion and now I am sure it will. If I will not update it later - that means I am disappointed and not playing anymore :D

    74,99€ for the "Epic" version, which includes every digital extra & 30 days of game time; and 54,99€ for most of the diigtal extras alone & 39,99€ for the base game.

    I won't even start by saying that the middle & base editions don't have the 30 days of game time. I will rather conclude, that this game does not deserve to run a buy-to-play (single-time, bigger price) combined with a pay-to-play (monthly, subscription-based payments) model.
    No game deserves that. You either run B2P or P2P. (eg. RuneScape, Guild Wars 2, The Elder Scrolls Online, etc.).

    Verdict? Average game with over the top price tag for the quality provided and amount of content that does not feel repetitive (because killing 30 NPCs over and over, or doing a mediocre instance (dungeon or raid) over and over for items to be able to farm for more items is in my opinion not enjoyable to a sane, working person).

    If you're a new player considering this game, do yourself a favour and pick another title that's not a combined B2P+P2P hoax.
    Your invested time into this game will eventually end up made irrelevant as level cap is always raised +10 (or +5) & previous items are made obsolete, no matter how hard you've "farmed" for them. Endless grind for items with the pretty excuse of "achievement obtaining" for a continuous price out of proportions that mentally 'forces' you to play to justify the value of the purchase.    … Expand

    Fantastic leveling. Maybe second best in WoW history. Plenty to do at endgame so far. Lots of quality of life improvements, and most of the things people hated about the last 2 expansions they fixed or changed for the better. Best expansion in a Decade.

    I like it, has a fresh new content and the endgame will keep you occupied for a while. Launch could have been better on some realms but other than that pretty fun.

    Weak story telling right out the gates and head scratching plot twists. Not much is left in terms of notable characters and exciting plot devices. The "B" cast of characters is up to carry this installment for WoW into a long boring mono-toned expansion that delivers very little new content beyond zones and boring kill quests.

    Covenant issues present
    Unfinished classes
    Launch Issues

    If they would have delayed for another 2 months, it may have launched better? Will change rating as the expansion evolves.

    Not many features. Compare to any expansion or classic, has lowest feature set.. just the tower and covenant. Not liking the covenant system so far.

    Launch has had issues, but not as bad as most expansions.

    This is the best addon from Cataclysm for me. The addon has some problems, but you don't see them under the benefits. So I hope the addon doesn't get any worse with new patches

    World of Warcraft: Shadowlands certainly manages to capture the same feelings we’ve had since first started playing the game. The leveling experience overhaul, constant sense of progress with rewards, and new campaign stories make Shadowlands a must-have for any avid player.

    World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is a return to greatness for the franchise. The content is both accessible and fun for all types of players, and the story actually makes you feel like everything you’re doing is helping to save the Shadowlands. Torghast is one of the best features ever added and makes each experience unique and fun. While there are some issues which can slow down the time it takes to get everything you want, the journey there is still enjoyable.
