    I've been wondering for a while whether it would be fair to give full marks to a game that definitely has serious technical issues (much to the detriment of id Tech 5) but considering that this is one of the most involved plots I've ever played in an FPS and it really is one of the games that marked me the most in the genre, it couldn't be different.     Das Spiel ist einfach genial, macht wirkich viel Spaß, die Story ist sehr dramatisch und fesselnd, sehr sehr gut für Storyspieler geeignet. Ein wirklich guter Shooter mit mehr als ausreichendem Locationwechsel.

    Simply amazing. I wanted to give it a try months after getting it on Epic as a freebie and Im hooked big time. The game is fantastic.

    Good game with decent story and somehow good character build up - including yourself and others.

    Graphics is obviously bad but its from 2014 so cant rate it really objectively in 2023.     A really good revange story, i honestly would say this is a better one than Farcry 4's revange story now that i think it was better than 5 too. I felt hatred against deathshead it drove me whole game long.

    بازی خوب و زیبایی بود، ارزش تجربه رو داشت
    گرافیکش واسه زمان خودش عالی بود
    گیم پلی هم فوق‌العاده لذت بخش
    داستانش هم خیلی خوب ( هم سطح سری مترو بود یه جورایی)

    I just finished the Fergus path. Killing enemies is very satisfying, especially the executions. The graphics are very good. Music perfectly fits my mood during the game. Amazing story and characters. The levels aren't like in Wolfenstein 3D, they're much easier and you won't get lost. It's a great game and it's definitely worth buying it.

    New Wolfenstein games are a reboot done great (well, mainly), just like new DOOM. The new order changed the setting to a dieselpunk world, which looks amazing, for me its one of the better games from 2014, fun to shoot, story is done quite well and the music holy **** its so good, Gordon killed it, well, like always. I don't think that Machine Games could've done better for their debut.

    It may seem unlikely that I recommend Wolfenstein: The New Order, after what I am about to say about it, but in the end, it still is a fantastic game.

    Wolfenstein: The New Order plays in the semi-fantasy setting of the Nazis winning the war. The way the developers projected this in the game is actually pretty realistic. The technological advances, the way they may be treating the world from that point, the fanaticism it is all there.

    The story of Wolfenstein is extraordinarily strong. It really changed from a Nazi shooting gallery to a Nazi shooting gallery with interaction between characters, beautiful upgraded graphics and sounds, and a main character you actually give a sh!t about. The perks and collectibles throughout the game gives it something extra and the whole game is filled with hidden story from the past and present and letters from citizens and soldiers who all tell something about the changing of the world as we know it.

    But for me, there were a lot of moments that I could throw the game out of the window (if I still used discs) and many times when I repeated the question ”But how??”, throughout.

    The first issue is the frame rate. Although most of the time the game runs steady at 60 fps, it has a lot of drops on certain moments, I thought it was my hardware but other players with better machines experience it too. Some people cannot get above 30 fps without tweaking the whole game.

    The second issue with this game is the load times. Oh my god, they are the longest I have ever experienced, apart from Grand Theft Auto V (nothing beats that, nothing). I played the game on a SSD drive and still it took forever to load. When I died, I was eating my nails in frustration because of the loading.

    The last issue I found are the perks. They give you a nice bonus for completing them, but the problem is that the game is way too short to unlock them as you progress. This means playing chapters over and over again to gain them, sometimes because a certain level is the only way to get a specific perk. I needed to search for walkthroughs and exploits to gain the demolition perks, those were impossible without the proper trick. Because of this, it ruined some of the fun I had with this game.

    Another thing is that the AI is incredibly stupid. They are mindless walking guns who fire endlessly on sight. If you use stealth, you can kill the whole Third Reich all by yourself by just crouching to them in plain sight and stab a knife in their throats.

    But overall, despite the problems and mindless grinds, it is still a pretty good game in which the developers want to tell you a powerful story. You can see that they made a revolutionary change with this game compared to the other parts of the series and for the story alone, I enjoyed it.

Немного не дотягивает до оценки "отлично", так как локации сделаны топорно, без внимания к деталям, ближе к концу игра теряет задор, становится коридорной и скучноватой. Но в общем впечатление хорошее. Любителям пострелять кибер-фрицев из футуристичных стволов понравится:)Качественный шутер, с яркими сражениями и колоритными персонажами.     It's world what amazes me the most. It's not perfect but it's worth a try. It has some fps issues but other than that i would recommend.

    A very brutal, satisfying game with a surprisingly deep and interesting story that takes your buff chad protagonist to some very dark, emotional places. I really like the alternate history, mixed in with some dystopian elements. This game is a must play imo

    What really grind my gears is the f* loading time when you die. It stuck like forever (in Epic Game Launcher).

    this masterpiece of the AI and the Graphics and design with the german soldiers i am a german guy but in the wolfenstein the new order German Patch I was so good Logo has looking mir cooler as the original Logo from Nazis and in the bed Wolfenstein 3D to play is so cool Have fun with the game

    Where do i even start with this title. Wow what an experience.

    Wolfenstein brings an epic fps experience packed with great writing, graphics, characters and plot. The game honestly feels like it was way ahead of its time. The art style is perfect for the setting and it features that bit of inglorious bastards kind of humor, this is an experience you must have!

    This has been a pretty fun experience with characters and story that are partially **** crazy given the plot that we are given. The biggest plus of this game is definitely the gameplay. The shooting and movement feel fluid (sometimes you can get stuck in objects but oh well) and fun as hell but there are oh just not that many ways to kill your enemies(execution animations get repetitiveThis has been a pretty fun experience with characters and story that are partially **** crazy given the plot that we are given.     i really enjoyed the game, great story, gunplay, graphic design was ok just got one problem that the game was forced to fullscreen windowed mode so 60fps cap gaming but enjoyed every bit of it

    Although not bringing masses to the fps market, Wolfenstein is propped up by successful writing, plot and graphics. The characters are relatable and Wolfenstein is an overall very good game.

    I did not have any bugs or game crashes.    A really great game. So much fun. Never felt bored playing it.     A great alternative-reality shooter, with well-balanced and smooth combat mechanics, fantastic (and very varied) world/level design, and compelling characters.     I'm a big fan of the Wolfenstein series. Return to Castle Wolfenstein is one of my favorite games ever, so I was quite curious how the reboot series would be. Surprisingly great. Wolfenstein: The New Order relies more on the story than the previous ones, but I have to admit that it doesn't hurt and it's great here. Our main killer B.J. Blazkowicz also speaks here, and overall you can haveI'm a big fan of the Wolfenstein series. Return to Castle Wolfenstein is one of my favorite games ever, so I was quite curious how the reboot series would be. Surprisingly great. Wolfenstein: The New Order relies more on the story than the previous ones, but I have to admit that it doesn't hurt and it's great here. Our main killer B.J. Blazkowicz also speaks here, and overall you can have a relationship with the character compared to previous works. So you are experiencing a story that contains great locations. These are here at such a high level, I dare say that they are approaching the already mentioned legendary Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Weapons also crack, because now we have the opportunity to use exactly two at once. But what Return to Castle did was the atmosphere. Is he here too? Surprisingly yes. Yes, it is and is wonderful. So I praised the game a lot and maybe the only minus would be the graphics, which could have been a bit better for the year of release. Otherwise, a great game for me, which is a clear choice for Wolf fans, and overall I recommend it mainly to FPS players.… Expand

    Never played Wolfenstein but I picked this up on a sale and was positively suprised. Pretty fun gameplay and a good story.

Enemies are not really diversed and even on higher difficulty levels not speciffically intelligent, but after stunning cutscenes most players will smash their faces with great impetuosity.     Great story and great experience of playing. The game contains vibes from both Half-Life and other fps games. Sometimes playing this game feels like playing a combination of Half-Life 2 and Modern Warfare. More than that, the storyline is great. Thanks to the story writing, as long as you proceed, it becomes more than an fps game.

The characters are one of the best I've seen in an FPS, but they are relatively weak compared to good RPGs (but being fair, an FPS doesn't have the same time to develop them).

    Level design is pretty good. The graphics are very good (for 2020) especially if we consider the time when the game was released (2014). The range of enemies is large enough. The game generates a lot of variety in each mission, nothing too absurd but different enough and good. Your arsenal constantly changes, diversifying your weapons or giving them improvements. And the nightmares are fun. The difficulty curve was well thought out. The only defect for me in gameplay is the way to change weapons, it's not very good (you have too many, so changing by numbers is bad and that roulette is very mediocre).    … Expand

    The game knows well what the audience wants and it delivers it to them with a plate full of brutality and action. Apart from the well known fun shooting against the modern Nazis you can follow an actual story with characters that are stereotypical and funny. It's quite bizarre and violent but that's what made this game memorable.

    I have only good memories of this game but maybe it would change slightly if I played it today. But as far as I remember it has amazing combat, stealth is sometimes questionable but not bad and I love the story. Amazing wolfenstein game 8.5/10.

    What a great idea it was! The alternative story of the trifting Nazis is immediately associated with Dick's books. Let's add an alternative '60s soundtrack and the possibility of sneaking around opponents! Even if someone does not like shoters but likes games like Dishonored - I think he will find himself here too! I will definitely use the option of passing the game in the second variant.

    + The game presents its story quite well. You play most of the time in the 1960's after    I bought this game with virtually no expectations... a generic shooter with Nazis, living on the great name of its ancestor from 1992. Well, while it's not a milestone of the genre, I ended up having more fun than I had with any other FPS in recent years. Here's why I enjoyed it (spoiler warning):

    + The game presents its story quite well. You play most of the time in the 1960's after Nazis won WW2 in 1946. I really liked the dire atmosphere.
    + Level design is superb with lots of diversity (even underwater, outer space). I didn't expect that moon level... fantastic.
    + Enemy AI is smart, shoots from cover, can be flanked, reacts realistically when the player is sneaking.
    + In many situations you have the option to sneak and kill silently use knives/throwing knives or suppressed handguns and avoid having to deal with large groups of enemies.
    + Firing your guns feels and sounds good.
    + Choosing the right weapon for certain enemies becomes essential in mid and end-game.
    + The game is quite challenging at the two highest difficulty settings.

    There are still some aspects that weren't that much satisfying, like the on-screen wheel to select weapons (I've seen myself dying too many times while trying to land on the weapon I wanted...) and the boss fights are not really the highest points of the whole experience.

Игра олдовая. Есть стандартные хп, которые востанавливаються сжиранием аптечек с собачьем кормом, подбирать броню с касок немцев и обломков роботов. Графен хорош,но иногда видно как играть прорисовываеться.Геймплей шикарный. Играешь за какого-то потрошителя фашиков. Бегаешь с двумя стволами косишь немцев как траву. Una buena historia (distópica) . Por momentos trepidante donde no hay lugar al aburrimiento pese a tener que recorrer todo el escenario para recoger munición, armas y chalecos; con variedad de armas (en modalidad simple o dobleUna auténtica maravilla. Es una pena que no le hubiese dado antes caña a este pedazo de juego. Combinar el modo sigilo con el modo Rambo ha sido muy satisfactorio. Una buena historia (distópica) .     Me he pasado el juego en Über (bastante asequible salvo por los blindados que dan guerra. También es cierto que a partir del capítulo 10 la dificultad aumenta enormemente) aunque tengo que confesar que el enemigo final no he podido con él y he bajado...dos niveles y aún así el cabr** era difícil.     The New Order is probably one of the most intriguing first person shooters I’ve played through…
    not only thanks to the story of living through alternate history.. But because of how your characters story is told, there’s revenge, love, everything… your journey feels personal instead of generic...
    You’re not some forgettable throwaway soldier like you get in most every other first person shooter campaign
    And because of this this campaign immerses you deep inside of its world…
    This isn’t your typical run and gun campaign..
    There’s tons of variety here, missions will have you scaling buildings for targets... going in with stealth, infiltration, and undercover missions…
    You never know what the game is going to throw at you keeping the campaign feeling fresh…
    There are a variety of weapons and enemies to deal with, and the game mixes things up with a laser gun you get to cut through chain and metal in the game, giving you alternate routes inside of rooms and again stopping this game from just feeling constantly run and gun… you’re not forced to shoot here most of the time, as you can just go in missions with stealth taking out everyone from behind…
    but if you do choose to shoot there are plenty of weapon choices and the ability to dual wield guns..
    Enemies drop plenty of ammo... but eventually your laser gun is upgraded and able to shoot with unlimited ammo, though it has to be recharged so you’re not waiting for it to recharge on its own at a painfully slow rate after every couple of shots…
    Combat can feel challenging if you’re not the stealthy type... especially thanks to the scouts that will call for back up if you don’t take them out before you start shooting...
    You do have health that will regenerate slightly... but there are health packs and armor around which seem in abundance at the beginning... but towards the end you’ll be begging for them...
    Mission structure all for the most part feels the same.. You’re given a map which rarely helps... I found myself just stumbling around the map until I found the item I was supposed to interact with...
    Not the greatest natural progression... but I only felt lost a few times throughout my journey to the end..
    I was having a lot of fun with this game thanks to its story and level design... however for me the 2nd half of this game really starts to feel a bit generic and I was ready for this game to be over hours before the final showdown…
    While I do feel the final stretch of the new order is a drag, load times are painfully slow, and the occasional lock picking in this game is the worst and most annoying lock picking in video game history
    The New Order offers a really unique experience worth picking up and seeing out through to its end

    The only thing in the new Wolfenstein that turned out really well is music. Shooting is decent and some weapons give proper sense of power, but developers failed to build an interesting game on these foundations. It has some good moments but none of them lasts long enough to be satisfying. Plus the writing is terrible and the way the game constantly forces all that ‘war is evil!’ preaching and Blazkowicz’s moral dilemmas down your throat is ridiculous. I actually couldn’t decide whether the game is being serious or not. [07/2014, p.56]
