Jul 4, 2014I was looking for something like CoH, at least as far as the community. There really is little need to team up, except for the dungeons, which are decent. Definitely feels like too much of a grind and not very satisfying. City of Heroes fans,,, keep waiting.

May 25, 2015I only played the start, and fell out of love with this fame fast. Great graphics and style, but the game is too quest-y and the intro really left a bad taste in my mouth. On the good side, you can try it for free for 10 days.

Jun 21, 2014Having played it some more, I have a question for the developers. Where is the fun? There is no hook to this game. Nothing that compels us to play it, be interested in our characters or our world.

Jun 5, 2014While I really like the graphics and the universe the levelling is quite boring an repetetive which ruins it pretty much. The boss mechanicss of the first 2 dungeons are easy to understand and comprehend and offer no real challege (after 2 deaths everybody should know what to do). The craftig and cooking systems are quite unique and offer a lot of experimentation possiblities.

Jun 30, 2014After playing Wildstar for a couple hours I've realized that I'm not looking at the game world at all. My vision got tunneled. In combat I'm looking at the telegraphs. While questing every clickable object has shiny icon on top of it. So all I do is run from one shiny icon to another. The bright world style and the full screen bloom effect doesn't help either.

Jun 5, 2014Cartoonish mmo, which is really addressed to players up to 12 years old. Plot is non-existent and the whole game has a wow-clone-ish taste. I could stay logged for a maximum time of 2 hours and after that the game was uninstalled from my hdd.

Jun 16, 2014Straight and too the point, they put too much focus on artificial challenge on this game. All they did was amp up the damage output the enemies do and call it challenging. Its not fun or challenging just annoying. The game is also riddled with bugs, broken quests, and lag. At least the Q times are gone...probably because the hordes of people that left due to the reasons mentioned above.

Jun 4, 2014Fighting in this game was rather fun but the rest of the game bogs down into a boring grind. I can see this game having a initial spike at launch due to the hype and a quick decline after a month when people realize its all fluff & no substance

Jul 24, 2014Too hardcore for my taste. I was looking to get away from hardcore WoW raiding and just enjoy a game. Unfortunately trying to heal the first instance was incredibly hard and unforgiving. One shot mechanics, interrupts requiring 3/5 people to interrupt and many more torturous mechanics.

Jul 18, 2014If your idea of playing an MMO is endless grinding and gating to make the game longer, then this game might be for you. Dungeons are unsatisfactory, raids are already dead and the PvP has more bots than I've ever seen.

Oct 29, 2014Carbine never was set to reinvent the wheel. But they put a nice set of custom rims on their vehicle. And then they strapped the whole thing on a space shuttle and send it into space.

Oct 28, 2014For those burnt out on WOW's content, WildStar is easy to endorse. Immediately familiar to anyone who's visited Azeroth and with enough new twists on the tried-and-tested theme park formula, Carbine's game is so overflowing with stuff to do that it's certainly justified in asking for a subscription - even if less people seem prepared to sign up to one.

Oct 20, 2014Wildstar banks on hardcore raid and instance difficulty as well as its excellently implemented "dancing" real time combat mechanic to offer something significantly new and fresh to the MMORPG scene. Low server population and annoying hints of a "Pay To Win More" model hold it back in certain areas, but it has all the potential of becoming a well established and much loved setting for years to come.
