    Wonderful game. It's really fun, and exceptionally written. No fat in the script at all. Only jokes and important plot related stuff. The game play is really enjoyable. It's very Saints Row 2, and that's very high praise coming from someone like me.

    I believe many reviewers did not play it: that's why they said that plot and characters are dull and intended for a young public. This is only apparently true, but it becomes false as you keep progressing with the story.

    Let's put it this way: Ubisoft is really unique as a major software house, as it tried to create games with powerful and delicate social, civil and cultural themes. Assassin's Creed games managed to do so, with highs and low of course, but they introduced important concepts: freedom of thought, rights of minorities, anti-systemic philosophy etc, all within a dense cultural and artistic setting.
    Yes, you may say that such messages are not always well rendered in Ubisoft games, but at least they tried.
    Watch Dogs 2 is a game like that: it has something to say. It is not perfectly formulated, but the fact it does is enough for raising it over most existing games.
    WD2 is packed with civil, educational and powerful social messages, all in a lightweight and funny fashion, by means of a group of teenagers that are quite well characterized and devoted to important cultural battles.
    Also, it is technically fantastic, the gameplay is interesting and fun enough, and the story is decent though not so well paced or narrated.
    It basically has the same flaws of all Ubisoft late games: a lack of inspiration in the script, due to the intent of making the game likable to the masses at all costs.
    This is your main mistake, Ubisoft: you have to DARE again, you have to go back to the time when you created an amazing game set in Middle-east and whose protagonist was an arab. You don't have to be afraid of the masses, as they do NOT know what they want. Ubisoft, you must become again the maker of games with powerful meanings and messages.
    And Watch Dogs 2 is a step to the right direction.    … Expand

    Overall this game is just a joy to play but the story lacks at points. The PC performance is really good even on my GTX 960 I can get 1080p medium settings and a solid 40 - 60fps depending on my location. The world is absolutely beautiful and has a lot to actually explore for a Ubisoft game. The gameplay is smooth and solid. If you are a fan of stealth or action this game is for you. IOverall this game is just a joy to play but the story lacks at points. The side missions are a nice distraction but not much else just classic Ubisoft stuff. The main story is where the game falters. Watch Dogs 1 had a better story overall in my opinion and the story to Watch Dogs 2 never really has any high or lows, it just stays in the middle. I honestly think that the story is there to compliment the open world and all the activities that are there to do. If you are a fan of stealth or open world games this is a good game just to relax and enjoy rather than get really serious about.… Expand

    The game is overall good in graphics, gameplay, story and characters design. I enjoyed playing the game so much. The bad thing in the game is that sometimes the character went to the undesired area when taking cover and I couldn't cancel the action and die. The other one is that there are too little music genre choices for the radio.

    - many hacking possibilities
    - living city, NPCs
    - many activites : sailing...
    - the best graphics : high resolution textures awesome in 4K, many details, inspired city tags, long-range visibility, awesome weather (rain, fog), enjoyable tourist places to visit, It is really a pleasure to walk around
    - well-optimized : it is the first game to use the CPU cores efficiently : my 5960X overlcoked at 4500 Mhz is used at 60 % and at 80 % in a few places. SLI works great too.
    - mulitplayer included in the solo story
    - many hours : about 90 hours for every single mission and a few multi ones.

    Cons :
    - no manual saves
    - bad crouching movement : you can be crouched only by using the cover movement. If you no longer want to use the cover movement technique, you are no longer crouching.

    The best open-world game, better than Watch Dogs 1, GTA IV and V.    … Expand

    Fun & beautiful open world set in a great location. Fun to explore with great freedom to how you solve missions. My only flaw is that you can't hide bodies and that characters act like little teen hippies with over-usage of "le memes". The tone should be more serious for somebody doing what they are doing in my opinion.     I honestly really enjoyed the game. Lots of stuff to do and everything. Biggest downside to the game would be performance, was impossible for me to keep stable 60 fps even when played on low. Never the less the gameplay is excellent

    Personally, I liked Watch Dogs 2. This is a clear progress after the failed first part. Nice graphics, good optimization, interesting plot. But most of all, I liked the basic gameplay. Passing missions on the stealth has become several times more interesting!

    This is a very good game. I got incredible pleasure passing it. Passed three times. The only negative is the atmosphere. It is too colorful, cheerful, cheerful. I think it was necessary to add at least a little seriousness. And the physics of cars, well, it's just awful.

There is a plethora of options for a (relatively) stealthy mission completion: sneaking behind and completing objectives without being seen, sending the quadjumper to hack everything and get out in a matter of minutes or bomb the whole level with your drone. Run-and-gun is just as fun, since it is encouragedWatch Dogs 2 is everything the first game was, refined and expanded in every way.     Better than Watch Dogs 1. This game is better in everything the prequel did. However it`s not perfect, and the violence could be developed in other way. Recommended.

    Apesar do jogo ser problemático em sua otimização para a versão de PC e de possuir um quantidade exageradas de atividades repetitivas em seu mundo aberto, o jogo possui mais qualidades que defeito.
    Recomendo em uma boa promoção e em uma PC com no mínimo uma GTX 1070 pra ter uma experiência digna e satisfatória.

    I finished almost 100% of the game and I can say that in general it is a good game. Like almost every game, Wacth Dogs 2 gets repetitive after many hours of play. Multiplayer missions are absurdly repetitive. There could be a better system for interacting with game users. The graphics quality is very good and the gameplay too.

    I think, however the bugs, the animation problems ect. The game is good. I had a lot of fun playing. I loved the characters, especially Wrench of course.

    The only thing that I didn't like is, you can Make Marcus lethal. Sometimes you have to make him. But that doesn't stand with the message and propaganda. I mean, Marcus wouldn't kill Councillor's guards

    Good game. Excellent graphics (only bad reflections on cars and buildings), good gameplay, a fairly lively world. A stupid and bad plot without revealing the characters. By tradition, Ubisoft has bad car physics (but in part 2 it is still not so bad compared to Legion).

    When I first started playing the game, if I were to be asked then to answer, I would have said no. But after finishing the game and involving myself in the story and completing everything as DLC and side quests, I realized that the characters aren't as boring and shallow as I first thought.

    The beginning didn't do for me and confused me to the point that I started comparing this with Watch Dogs 1. I felt the protagonist was a bit too immature, which is true, but as you progress through the story you realize that this game has its charm.

    Watch Dogs maybe 2nd on my list after Grand Theft Auto, followed as third with Saints Row, just because It allows you to do all kinds of stuff in the city, even more than GTA, if you ask me, due to the hacking, yet it doesn't go overboard as Saints Row did. It is an unexpected good game and I can't wait for Watch Dogs: Legion. I think it will be a great game!    … Expand

    This game is better than first watch dogs. Hacking is better at watch dogs 2 but shooter mechanic is better at watch dogs. also san Francisco is nice, Of course it is not Los Santos but it is better than Chicago in watch dogs. I like story and characters except main character Marcus.

    watch dogs 1 but more. a lot of new mechanics are added to improve the gameplay and this game so fun to play. you can try stealth for every mission but AI is not good even they can see you they dont react sometimes. gunplay is not fun as wd1 because they removed "focus" ability but i only use stun gun so it didnt effect me but its a downgrade for gunplay in my opinion. city design iswatch dogs 1 but more. a lot of new mechanics are added to improve the gameplay and this game so fun to play. you can try stealth for every mission but AI is not good even they can see you they dont react sometimes. gunplay is not fun as wd1 because they removed "focus" ability but i only use stun gun so it didnt effect me but its a downgrade for gunplay in my opinion. city design is really good and game wants to discover it because if you wanna improve your character skills you need research points which you can find them at open world.

    After playing all 3 Watch Dogs games I feel like this one is the best. The "hipster style" is not exactly my cup of tea but everything else in here is so much fun.

    The game is many times better than the first part. Good graphics, the plot is not a masterpiece, but not bad either. The physics of cars is not very good. The gameplay has become better. Very beautiful San Francisco. I recommend playing.

Do tej pory jedyną serią od Ubisoftu którą byłem w stanie się zainteresować była ta o Asasynach, lecz po ograniu Watch dogs 2 poczułem, że są w tej firmie jeszcze produkcje, które potrafią wciągnąć. Cudowne miasto, a zwłaszcza most, z którego są piękne widoki, fantastyczne misje, oraz wyobraźnia jaką można wykorzystaćSzczerze, nie pamiętam w jaki sposób trafiłem na tę grę, ale nie żałuję. PC only features, multiple graphical settings, and a    I was skeptical due to my slightly less than favourable experience with the first one, but I had some leftover cash in my Steam wallet and decided to give it a shot.

    Hell, I was surprisingly enchanted by the game. In a myriad of game titles that was released as a garbage port in PC, Watch_Dogs 2 improvement was pretty apparent. PC only features, multiple graphical settings, and a constant 60+ FPS even on the highest setting. Ubisoft has clearly learned from their mistake on the first title and has given the treatment and care their PC crowd wanted.

    The game itself was alright. Marcus Holloway is a completely different opposite than Aiden Pierce in character, story, and the way they approach their problems. In a way, these fits nicely as WD2 was a cheerier version of WD. When Aiden was dealing with grief and loss, Marcus and his colorful crew was just trying to fight the big brothers. Cliche sure? doesn't make it any less interesting.

    Not to mention Ubisoft finally managed to gather together a crew you get attached with. I mean sure, all of them are to the extreme spectrum of comical, but you couldn't help to think if that was indeed how the younger generation in San Francisco reacts. In fact, they managed to make the dialogues interesting that I couldn't help and laugh with their interactions.

    One last thing to touch is the gameplay. There are improvements and there are a step backwards. For once, Marcus's hack power is less powerful and sophisticated than Aiden. Most of the time, you have to accomplish your mission via stealth as Marcus could not as much punishment as Aiden could. This fits the them as while Aiden was a highly trained Fixer, Marcus was simply a 22 years old kid with an above average athletic ability. Furthermore, while Aiden's hack power bend the Chicago CTOS to his will, Marcus' power lies more in his ability to create distraction and move between walls with his new NetHack power. They both have their own strength and weaknesses, but I do think Aiden is a better hacker in gameplay especially during car chase and escape.

    Speaking of car chase, I feel like driving is worst in the second one as I found it harder to escape from chase like I did with Aiden. Maybe that also due to the fact that Aiden was highly trained.

    I enjoyed the game, but you might wanna wait till a sale unless you really really loved the first Watch_Dogs. It's a great game. Was it a perfect game? far from it. Did I had fun with it? Absolutely.

    Has a rich and active world, but ironically NPCs have only a handful of facial variation. Some mechanics aren't as polished as in GTA V, but the fullness of the world and hacking stuff makes up for it.

Game is full of little details, for example, if Marcus is wearing long shirt, or hoodie, lower end of it moves as Marcus walks.
    Unfortunately, Watch Dogs 2 has some big flaws, that are dragging the game down. Let's start with driving. Driving in this game is very bad, arcade style and you cant customize your cars much. Next on the list is shooting and guns. Watch Dogs 2 is trying to be like a hacking GTA, but since the game is meant to be stealth orientated, you cant actually go guns blazing. Still, the game is giving you a handful of guns to choose from, but only two of about 25 guns are silenced, which gives very little space for decision. Sounds of guns and way, that guns work are really arcade-like and poor. What i think is the biggest flaw of the game, are the missions. Until about half of the game, you have many side missions to pick, but from the half of the game I have no side missions to complete, so my only option was to rush main mission, because i couldn't do anything else. Some side missions are presented to you through your hacker group DedSec, some can be found throughout the world. No matter what you do, it seems like after you are past half of the game, you have no side missions. Thanks to that, you will complete the game rather quickly.

I dare say that if Ubisoft can do anything, it's game worlds. San Francisco has something in it, and while it may not fit in with Aidan Pearce's style, it doesn't matter at all, because we don't even play for it here. Marcus comes on the scene, which is much, but much more charismatic, for which I commend the authors. At number one, I complained that the game lacked a protagonist who would express emotions in any way. But Marcus is much better off and not just him. In less than an hour of playing, we meet other characters we play with and they are also much better than those from the previous part. I immediately developed a relationship with them. What was the purpose of the previous game was hacking, which is of course here again. In my opinion, it is neither better nor worse. I think it's the same. It all works better thanks to better characters. Unfortunately, what the developers still didn't finish is shooting, which is not bad, but in the previous game I found it a bit strange, but mainly car control. In my opinion, this is the biggest stumbling block of Watch Dogs 2. What I liked about the game was that at any time you can be attacked by a player who is playing and can steal your followers. These activities, unfortunately, aren't as plentiful and diverse, as they are in the best of the genre. You have some fun collecting and side quests to do, with the Uber driver hustle being surprisingly enjoyable, for example, but nothing too deep or meaningful. The main quests, on the other hand, are a pleasant change from what they are in the standard Ubisoft formula, something more akin to the GTA series. They feature cool locations and set pieces, fun concepts, and generally good level design. You will infiltrate a futuristic cathedral to steal the holy writings of a new age confession, a giant server compound, and even a space station, almost becoming a stowaway astronaut. Some missions are weaker than others, but it's a nice collection overall.

    Your approach to completing quests and dealing with encounters may vary, with the skill tree allowing you to craft your own playstyle, even if the choice is not that significant. You can be a stealthy ninja, going behind the backs of the enemies distracted by a phone call you orchestrated with a quick hack, or comfortably sitting in some comfy hideout while controlling the drones that do everything for you with surprising responsiveness, or go full rampage with assault rifles, shotguns, and explosives in an amount that could probably demolish a skyscraper. That last one was really confusing to me, as it causes some serious dissonance with how the plot is set up. The guy you play as, Marcus, is a young hooligan, who does parkour, is obsessed with nerd culture, and doesn't really have other motivation than to be a cool hacker and fight the system. He's overall just a chill dude and it's very jarring to see him shred people with bullets. The group Marcus is a part of, DedSec, also don't really present themselves as straight-up terrorists: they have a wacky media profile with a lot of followers (which are at the same time the stand-in for the EXP in progression system) and come off more as punk anarch-kiddies rather than cold-blooded killers. I opted in for almost exclusively pacifist playthrough as it seemed much, much more fitting. Of course, there's always an argument for game contrivances, but it would be nice to give at least some reason for why killing dozens of people is OK in the context of the situation or lampshade it in some tongue-in-cheek joke, yet I haven't noticed anything like that.

    The story itself is okayish. It lacks any depth and mostly just serves its purpose of giving you the motive to play through main missions, but it's not exactly cliched and doesn't take itself too seriously. Antagonist and your allies in DedSec are appealing, even if kinda one-dimensional. It was nice to get some conflict between in the group, no matter the underwhelming resolution to it. Themes of authoritarian supervision and corporate intrusion in private life were really surface-level, but they were present and felt like a welcomed change from the overdone revenge and "circles of violence" plots.

    As usual for the genre, Watch Dogs 2 doesn't have a memorable story or deep systemic interactions with the world, but the gameplay loop is fun and gets you into some interesting situations, making the title overall a rather pleasant experience.    … Expand

However after playing for a few hours I began to understand that the story in Watch Dogs 2 is lame even though the gameplay and hacking mechanism saw a significant improvement. Also, Watch Dogs 2 is a lot easier than the first one. I had hard times playing the first one onAfter finishing Watch Dogs 1, I immediately started downloading Watch Dogs 2 on Epic Games. I loved the first one. However after playing for a few hours I began to understand that the story in Watch Dogs 2 is lame even though the gameplay and hacking mechanism saw a significant improvement. Also, Watch Dogs 2 is a lot easier than the first one. I had hard times playing the first one on normal difficulty but even in "Realistic" difficulty mode I was completing every missions on Watch Dogs 2 easily. Also, it seemed like the police stopped chasing me after a certain amount of time whereas in the first one the police would chase even for an hour if I could not shake them off. Lastly, I found some bugs that made me exit from the game and start the mission again.

    Overall, Watch Dogs 2 is a good game with very good gameplay and open world design. But I could not finish it because of a lack of motivation to continue as the story was lame. Otherwise, it could have been a 10/10 for me.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have played both Watch_Dogs and Watch_Dogs 2 though I played Watch_Dogs when it first came out and on the Xbox One so it has definitely been a while and was on a different platform, with that let's get into it.

    Performance

    Not much to say here really, I had virtually no issues in terms of performance and stability, while playing I had a stable framerate and only ever had the game crash twice throughout the entire story.

    Graphics

    The game is quite beautiful but you can start to tell they are a bit outdated. I didn’t have any graphical glitches or errors in my time playing however.

    Gameplay

    Here is the meat of it and arguably the most important part of the game. The gameplay in Watch_Dogs 2 is phenomenal. While the game both looks and presents itself similarly to GTA it is vastly different because of the hacking. In terms of the hacking there is way more you are able to do compared with the first game, while the basics from the first game are there you can now do way more and it feels like a main part of the game as opposed to a gimmick. For example you can hack into someones phone and have them assassinated by a gang or even start a faction war between two groups to distract them. There is also way more to hack and control such as cars and other vehicles.

    They’ve also added two RC drones which allow for different styles of gameplay, both the drone and RC car are great additions and add interesting and unique ways to solve the “puzzle” of each mission. Of course you can still go in guns blazing if you want or even stealth around and hack but there being different options keeps the game fresh and can make each situation unique.

    The World

    If there is one thing Ubisoft exceeds at it’s there worldbuilding. This is perhaps the best living city I’ve ever played, the city feels real and alive and makes sense. Having a little description of each NPC and the ability to listen in on some of their conversations makes it feel all the more real and like these people actually inhabit it. The world has a lot of detail in it that appears to make it a real city.

    Story

    Now here in my opinion is the weakest part of the game. The tone of the story here is vastly different from the first game and I will be going into minor spoilers here for both Watch_Dogs and Watch_Dogs 2. The tone of this game is very silly and goofy as opposed to the more bleak and serious nature of the first game. Instead of being a vigilante out for revenge you are a member of the hacker group DedSec out to expose the big corporation Blume for their evil deeds with data collection. Each of the characters in the game with the exception of the “villian” are goofy. The dialogue for most of these characters is to me quite unbearable but hidden under this dialogue is an interesting premise [spoiler] that fails to pay off with a satisfying conclusion or bigger story. [/spoiler] As you go through and expose more and more evil that each of the big tech companies is doing it feels very real, and like you are doing something important. However the dialogue and goofy nature takes away from this as well as the methods that you take in achieving these ends.

    (SPOILERS AHEAD)The weakest part of the story is the “villain” which again is in quotes for a reason. The villain is the CTO of Blume who wants to use people's personal data for financial gain as well as developing new technologies he believes humanity will want and may even help them. Of course he also engages in fraud and other illegal activities, but it is kind of hard to absolutely hate the guy when he often does have a point and isn’t really even evil. To be completely honest I do sympathize with him and what DedSec was doing made me question whether or not what my character was doing was the right choice. I don’t think the game intends this but it is what I got.(END OF SPOILERS)

    Conclusion

    While Watch_Dogs 2 is by no means a perfect game it’s gameplay puts it miles above what Watch_Dogs was even though it’s story is lackluster in some parts. While I didn’t like the dialogue of the characters and the lack of a grandiose story I still got a lot of enjoyment out of it and would definitely recommend it.    … Expand

The Dedsec video cutscenes are great and funny as they are made up of tons of old memes. The building up to the end is boring with only a few times in which you care what's actually going on. The main story is interesting, but it's too long and repetitive to keep the player's attention for the entire duration of the game.     I believe that a game should bind you to itself in the first hour of gameplay either with its story or its fun game mechanics. WD2 obviously has "a bit" from both these qualities, but neither were enough to keep me playing the game more than an hour.

    WD2 still doesnt reach the full quality of GTA, lets be realistic that even with its hacking emphasis, GTA is the series that Ubisoft is trying hard to emulate, to attract gamers who enjoy GTA. Only key area where Ubi rivals R* is the world building and attention to detail put in it. Exploring Bay Area can take your breath away if youre interested in the game for the purpose of virtual tourism. However gameplay and narrative wise WD2 still doesnt have what it takes to be a top tier open world crime game.

    Driving is still pretty sub par, if not worse than in first game, cars feel way too twitchy, weightless with overly sensitive steering, no to mention the crappy crashing physics and some cars having to go through 100 gears when you fly the highways at top speed. Gunplay is nothing special, but some guns do sound pretty cool. Stealth can be somewhat fun due to hacking tools game gives you. The new traversal parkour system is pretty nice in action, but still the world is not as open as in GTA where you could go virtually anywhere, movement still can be clunky and restrictive where you should be able to scale something easily by logic. Cop chases can get annoying as hell due to cops being overly aware, the sheer numbers of cops game can throw at you all at once and their cars being relentless in stopping you with artificially increased speed compared to yours, like rubber banding of AI in racing games, the police heli especialy gets on the nerves if you dont have the skill unlocked to bugger it off. Marcus doesnt have much health, even on Normal difficulty game can be quite brutal if you go guns blazing without a strategy, this can be both good or bad depending on your play style. The enemy factions you face also over abuse the ''call for reinforcements'', they just keep coming and coming, and the enemy AI has ridiculous awareness of your position, they perfectly land every grenade thrown at you and they know excatly the place to rush once youre spotted, even if you changed your position while they didnt see you.

    Bay Area in Watch Dogs 2 is seriously impressively recreated, then again Chicago was the strongest point in first game aswell. It can be fun just walking around the San Francisco, Sillicon Valley, Oakland or Marin and taking in the surroundings. Graphics are very good allowing the world to pop with detail. The NPC system is quite good aswell like in first game, however the more you play the more you start hearing the same dialogues NPC's can be having or the scripted interactions between them.

    Story was yet another unimpressive Ubisoft affair. Still, the theme surrounding The Big Tech in Sillicon Valley, the power they hold and how they abuse it, its relevant stuff i have to say, especially now in 2018 when such companies have become overly political, condone censorship and try to meddle with ellections in USA and globally to get the result they deem ''right'' in their views. Main missions and side activities can be fun, but the main narrative and writing just goes by with you not caring much. Like when a key character dies in the game, you only care so much that you forget about it 5 minutes later. To be frank, before i tried the game, the cast of main characters semt pretty lame to me, but they are not that bad honestly, they did to a degree grew on me, but not to the point i would call them good or memorable, except maybe for Wrench and T Bone. Marcus himself, no matter how Ubisoft try to make him the exact opposite of Aiden, he ends up being the polar opposite with all his forced feeling cheeriness and rather shallow personality. The tone is much lighter than in the 1st game, there's lots jokes and humour, but its the kind humour thats rather hard to connect with if youre not a teen or younger, more simply put its not smart humour.

    Then there's a big issue with how the narrative simply ignores the fact if youre playing the game with a lethal approach. You can can be cold blooded killer with Marcus, but he keeps acting like his hands are clean of blood and so does rest of your DedSec crew. It doesnt make any sense. You can see Ubisoft wrote the story in a way that it only assumes youre playing without killing people, thats cool if youre a stealth fan who likes non lethal play style, if youre not then thats another problem you'll face in connecting with game's story line and characters.

    WD2 on PC also has some performance issues, very low frame rates in certain parts of the game world, occasional game crash here and there. Worst of all, the game can freeze up for several seconds before being playable again.

    Even with some of its bigger flaws, in the end i still had decent time with Watch Dogs 2.    … Expand

    It's a competently put together game. There were some breakthrough moments where the characters seemed to be more than just a painful attempt to be relevant but those were too few to overcome how dull and repetitive the game is in general.

    - Los NPCs estan locos. Sus conversaciones sonn absurdas y son estupidos. Alguna vez te tendras que reir de las estupiedeces que sueltan.
    - La IA esta de lo peor que he visto.
    - La historia es un sin sentido de "cosas hackers". No te enteras de nada, haces las misiones porque hay que hacerlas, no porque sean interesantes.
    - Los personajes son planos y sin carisma, no tienen nada. Te da igual lo que les pase. No hay nada de empatia con ellos, parecen adolescentes gilipollas.
    - No existe ningun interes en visitar el mundo. Te da igual de lo simple y vacio que es.
    - Coleccionables y demas mierda para alargar el juego artificialmente. Vas a un sitio, hackeas o coges no se que, te vas a otro y haces lo mismo, recompensas de mierda..... El juego no te premia la de tiempo que hay que dedicarle.
    - Mala copia de GTAV. A veces es ridiculo en lo que se le parece, eso si se le parece en lo malo.

    Waited long as I wasn't too impressed by the first one. It actually is quite incredible how well the graphics are, even comparing it to GTA5, textures, light and characters all look really well. It could so easily be a good game, but the characters, the cyber theme and edgy sarcasm characters are just too much. Feels like a sitcom made for 15 year olds where everything is "Alright! Es ist so schlimm, dass ich nur bis zur Hälfte gespielt habe und danach einfach keinen Bock auf diese Scheisse hatte.
    Der Story fehlt einen roten Faden. Mal ist man Mitten in der Stadt ein feindliches Hauptquartier am Hacken, danach befindet man sich plötzlich auf einer Party-Insel und konsumiert Drogen. Hippe Szenen werden ohne logischen Zusammenhang verknüpft. 1 Punkt Abzug.
    Etwas hakelig ist die PC-Steuerung.

    The game is simply NOT FUNNY TO PLAY AT ALL. The missions are garbage. The police is too hard to beat. Anything "wrong" you do is too fastly punished by the police. It's garbage, don't play it. The character moves are not intuitive.

    Trilha Sonora: Alguns momentos a trilha sonora realmente encaixa com a cena/gameplay porem ela é bem fácil de ser esquecida (não é porque a música é conhecida que ela necessariamente é boa pra situação).

    I played and enjoyed the first one. While this one is pretty much the same game with minor changes, additions and different characters, it's the characters that got on my nerves through the whole game. They were all pretentious and cheesy. The game mechanics were great and I enjoyed playing it, but with the excessively liberal teen divas, I was sure I'd see Aaron Spelling in the writing credits.

They have done a great job at making the AI more intelligent, this results in you arriving at a location, walking past an alley, being spotted by an eagle eyed AI character,Loved Watchdogs 1, played it to death and was a really enjoyable experience. The reason they have upped the AI, is to force you to use the Jumper and Quadcopter. This takes away the stealth part of the game that was really enjoyable in the first. The joypad controls on PC on top of this are annoying, you must push the left stick in to make the character run, push the right stick in to crouch. If you crouch behind a wall and then move away from the wall you stand up. The AI then instantly spot you and chase you down and kill you. It feels like they have spent that much time on the gorgeous graphics, that they threw together the gameplay. The Online hack in Watchdogs one was so much fun and enjoyable, probably the most exciting multiplayer experience ive playing in a long time has been now integrated into the game instead of the UI. Instead of going into the menu and choosing the join a online hacking session. Your now driving down the road and you drive directly into an online co-op game, smash into a Van, then you have to hide from 2 opponents who have just seen you T-total your ride. The cops arrive at the scene of the crash. You manage to get a way and hide from the co-op players and hide in a car. and the police pull up next to you and start flashing their lights signalling where you are, but they dont arrest you, because your in an online multiplayer game. There has been no thought gone into the game play from Ubisoft. It comes accross annoying and the way you approach the missions feel forced. They took away some of the things that made number 1 shine. Definately worth getting in the sale, but beware can be frustrating to play at times, especially the controls on a Joypad.… Expand

    It's not a bad game. It's not a good one either. It's perfectly average and generic. There is nothing that would distinguish it from the flood of generic GTA clones. If you plan on buying this game consider spending the money on the real drone or remote controlled car instead. You'll probably have more fun playing with those.

    Watch Dogs 2's release doesn't have the glaring issues that the original game had. It's a fun game, but like many other of Ubisoft's open-world titles, has a bit of a "collectathon" feel with the many kinds of optional side content you can do. The game has its own set of main characters and does indeed continue the plot laid out in the original Watch Dogs.

    I can see that Ubisoft wanted this game to have a more relaxed feel. But, I feel that compromises the plot. The original game actually did have a very lengthy narrative - probably of a similar length to Grand Theft Auto 5. I remember, just from the storyline alone, you could spend 20-30 hours alone.

    The storyline of the original Watch Dogs, to me at least, felt epic with you taking down several company leaders and even getting backstabbed by a few of your friends - I was genuinely surprised by the time I reached the game's ending. The expansion pack, Bad Blood, even wrapped up the story of one of the antagonists who had escaped the plot of the original game.

    This game is a bit shorter that the original, but it doesn't have that same feeling of ambitiousness. This game likes to joke around a lot, almost needlessly. Think of it like Borderlands, but not quite to that extreme. Actually, the change between Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2 is exactly like the change between Saints Row 2 and Saints Row 3 - the plot having a much less serious tone and the gameplay introducing many simplifications.

    The gameplay has been simplified greatly and the number of hacking puzzles where you have to rotate hacking nodes has been significantly reduced. There are many "apps" you can use on your character's phone that make the game much more easy and less repetitive. For example, you can call cars to your location and you can also fast travel to shops on the map. These are good things to me because they are a new standard for open-world games of this gaming generation and make the game a great deal more convenient.

    I feel that this title didn't do enough to differentiate itself from the original. It somewhat feels like Far Cry: Primal - you know, a game that might've done better if it was an expansion, rather than a standalone new title in a series. Like the many other titles that Ubisoft has published within the last few generations, this game uses similar UI and gameplay features like its other open-world games, and if you're anything like me you're probably starting to see the trend and get a bit tired of it.

    Though there were changes in gameplay elements, a lot of the game just feels like the original and even after a few hours, I found myself getting bored from playing this, even though the original came out over two years ago.

    The original was the first of its kind with all of its hacking and puzzle elements, and you'd see people sharing funny images of the data your character can see about the random pedestrians in the game. But this game really doesn't bring anything new to the table, and you hardly hear people talking about it or sharing videos like the original game. People, though a bit disappointed, were still very intrigued by the game's unique hacking system and its first implementation in an open-world style game.

    This title certainly does have a new and interesting plot, but that can really only take a game so far. It was quite risky for Ubisoft to produce a sequel to the original game, and unfortunately it seems that the sales didn't meet their expectations.    … Expand

    WD2's graphics are more ugly than GTA5 and consume more system resource than GTA5. I think this game even worse than Far Cry Primal because WD2 has the graphics that are similar to GTA4.
    WD2's story is boring. Both Watch Dogs 1 and 2 have a boring map, stupid A.I. and bad background Musics.
    In conclusion, Watch Dogs series is not a must-play open world game title.

    After a couple hours of the game, my first thought was. I really don’t enjoy City Open World Games. There is just too much going on, too many NPC’s around and driving is just not fun. I also didn’t enjoy a lot of the missions, they felt very Stealth Heavy and I just didn’t have any fun with any of the missions. I wanted to go guns blazing but that’s not this game. It just wasn’t fun.

    for me personally i didn't like the game.For 1800rs not good game to buy.
    As i have expected after Assassin's creed unity was worse butthis game didn't run properly on nvidia GTX 970 i will not recommend this game

    The game looks great and is well-optimized, though compared to the piss-poor technical state most AAA games now are released in, that's not saying too much.

    The stealth and hacking gameplay is much improved from the first one. There is a bit too much reliance on the buggy and copter, and their inclusion has had a negative effect on level design, but it allows for more freedom to pick your playstyle, at least on most missions.
    Some of said missions are quite fun too. Along the main story Ubisoft eschewed the usual mission tropes like the race, the forced stealth, the timed mission etc and allowed you to approach them more indrectly, something that greatly helps immersion and keeps you from the "going through the motions" feeling you ofetn get with gta-clones.
    Unfortunately, the difficulty of said missions is all over the place. Some are so easy to one-shot they don't even feel like a challenge, while some had me resetting from checkpoint upward of 20 times. Neither is inherently bad, but the inconsistency is jarring. The most common reason for the spikes is an over-abundance of guards, making sneaking almost impossible.
    This is a problem because the combat in general and the gunplay particularly is absolute trash. All weapons from pistols to sniper rifles feel grossly underpowered. There is no feedback from enemies when hit, and when you meet heavy guards toward the end of the game, they can tank 7-8 headshots from a shotgun at close range before going down, not even stopping their own gunfire meanwhile.
    The writing in the first game was bad because of its dour tone clashing with the content. But at least you could imagine Aiden Pierce as someone capable of killing his way through an army to get to where he wanted. Marcus is protrayed as always upbeat, wise-carcking, meme-spouting good guy looking out for the people, so when he goes on a rampage, everything just feels off.
    The other characters go grossly underdeveloped and thus descend into caricatures. Not a single time could I even imagine how they grew up, what they had gone through or who they even were. Out of the central cast you only learn any background about 2 of the characters, one of which is introduced later in the game and the other is killed off.
    The series still has a way to go to be good. As it is, Watch Dogs 2 improves on the first game in some ways, but takes some steps back in others. The series needs to find a narrower gameplay focus or get lost in the mediocrity it is in now.    … Expand

That is the backstory to the main character Marcus in WD 2 and it leads to him seeking out the newly formed Bay Area section of Dedsec to take down Blume’s CTOS 2.0. I was one of the few people that enjoyed the first WD, so I was excited about this game because I heard it was a marked improvement over the original. The first WD felt overly dramatic and the character development forced, but the game did turn out to be a fun journey with unique hacker elements that set it apart from its competitors in the action-adventure genre. From the start, WD2 did feel like it improved a lot on the aspects of the first that held it back. However, as the game progressed, I realized a lot of the features that made the original great were thrown out in favor of turning the game into a generic action-adventure title leading to the series taking one step forward but two steps back.

    The first thing that is noticed about the game is the controls are a lot smoother than the original. Marcus doesn’t jerk around as much as Aiden Pierce did and the driving is like that of other games, so there are no game specific movement adjustments that you must get used to as in the first. This eliminates a lot of mistakes one would make because of clunky character movements and leads to a more satisfying gameplay experience.

    When it comes to actual gameplay, it feels like missions were designed to be straight forward probably at an attempt to appeal to a broader audience, but that also leads to sacrificing the identity of the series itself. Almost every mission consists of breaking into a facility to hack some sort of equipment by simply pressing a button or playing the same minigame. You can use stealth, your robots, or brute force, but the variety of the missions ends there. The game did end up being short enough that lack of variety didn’t really factor into the missions growing boring, but it did feel generic and the hacker theme of the game suffered because of it. In fact, it seemed like a lot of the time advanced hacker skills weren’t even needed in most of the missions. This led to me stockpiling a ton of skill point on the hardest difficulty possible in the game without having any trouble whatsoever, which should never happen. I eventually just reached a point where I dumped all my points into traits to help me with PVP scenarios and never was punished once because of it.

    In terms of the story, there is a purpose for what the character’s are doing and it is more believable than the original Aiden Pierce story, but the way they go about doing it is just as generic as the gameplay that is used to accomplish the task. In order to take down Blume, the plan is to expose the corporations in bed with Blume to hurt their reputation and make them think twice about it. This is done in a string of missions lasting 30 minutes each followed by a news broadcast exposing the story. That’s it. Just like the gameplay, the corporations feel like reskins of each other and for the most part your interactions with these big tech giants begins and ends in that 30-minute mission.

    Sticking with the theme of WD 2, character development is also generic and there is little depth to the characters especially comparing it to the original. Character backstories are summed up in 20 seconds audio files and the only development you see is very minimal surface development. This surface development is usually summed up in a single event that is designed to make you feel sympathetic towards the characters, but often feels forced and instead makes you realize how little development there actually is. For instance, there is one event in the game that is supposed to be emotionally devastating, but the event as well as the emotional impact is all summed up in a single mission and never brought up again making you question how much it really affected the group. To put it in perspective how different the character development is between the two games, I remember Aiden Pierce’s full name after years of not playing the game but had to look up Marcus Holloway’s name even though I just beat the game last week.

    Overall, Watch Dogs 2 was a fun game to play, but there is nothing about it that is going to be memorable except maybe the overly political commentary that even the people they’re trying to appeal to disapprove of. Instead of fixing the problems of the original Watch Dogs, it seems like the company just decided to make a generic action-adventure game to appeal to the most people possible to maximize their profits. If another GTA clone is what you're looking for then go ahead and buy it once it goes on sell but if you are looking for something more then maybe this isn't the game for you.    … Expand

    Unlike the first game where multiplayer was kind of a mess, the sequel offers a pretty solid multiplayer experience. Playing Watch Dogs 2 co-op is definitely a blast, especially if you're experiencing the game with a friend.

    In the end, Watch Dogs 2 feels like an improvement over the previous game in the series. The characters are fun to play as and interact with, all of the hacking elements have a lot more depth and make more sense, and the world feels more alive and rich than ever before, design wise and graphics wise. However the game does suffer from mediocrity in regards to its shooting mechanics and stealth sections. Is it a fun game? Yeah, sure it is. Is it one of my games of the year? Not really.

    Hacking and stealth elements are so good in Watch Dogs 2 and as a whole the game is so much better than its predecessor that I managed to turn a blind eye to the fact that Dedsec members are annoying as hell. [01/2017, p.32]
