    One of the best representations of 40k in gaming since Space Marine. Great controls, amazing ranged to melee transitions , total 40k atmosphere in art direction, and maps that make for some of the best multi-player game play I've had in years.

    It's not what they promised us 2 years ago, but I think its still a hell of a lot of fun! Yes, it needs to be optimized, and yes there are balancing issues. I will give them a 1-2 month grace period to solve these issues, and hope to see this game transform into what we all hoped it would be on launch. This is a clear case of a publisher pushing a game out within a timeframe which didntIt's not what they promised us 2 years ago, but I think its still a hell of a lot of fun! Yes, it needs to be optimized, and yes there are balancing issues. I will give them a 1-2 month grace period to solve these issues, and hope to see this game transform into what we all hoped it would be on launch. This is a clear case of a publisher pushing a game out within a timeframe which didnt allow for implementation of all the mechanics and systems the founders wanted. I believe that the Devs however are very faithful to the franchise and will work hard to make this game better. I guess what im saying is as the consumer base we will see what happens.

    +If you are a 40k fan, and have a patient mind and dont rage at everything, this game is worth picking up.

    The game is NOT P2W, AT ALL. You CANNOT buy any stuff/gear with money, which you could not obtain in-game (BTW fairly easily). gear bought with real money are simply re-textured version of the same gear you can obtain for in-game currency.     A very good game and a must for fans of Warhammer 40k (or just fans of Dawn of War RTS series). Its a solid shooter with very diverse classes and 4 factions to choose from. Is getting constant updates so the game will keep improving. I sugest trying it out.

    The character customization is not bad but makes you buy "RTC" Rouge Trader Coins a premium currency which is a major downside after already forking over the price of a full game but for those who want to support the development i can see how i don't mind doing it.

    The Game does have potential but i do insist to wait for a sale. It's not a great game but its your average 3rd person shooter with a great atmosphere to it. IT IS ALSO BEST PLAYED WITH A CLAN IF YOU SOLO IT CAN BE EXTREMELY BORING AND DIFFICULT ITS A TEAM BASED GAME.    … Expand

    Now it is January 2018 and i am playing this game since over 1 year. I can say now it is a very good game! :)
    The graphics are really fine, no lagging anymore, servers work, there is plenty of new content since release september '16 and it is 100% Warhammer 40,000 Universe! Best Hint: You can boost graphics of this game (and    "Is it better to die for the Emperor than live for yourself?"

    Once a different idea of what the current game actually is, the biggest fight you'll engage on will be trying to shake off the feeling you're still on a WiP beta test. Eternal Crusade has definitely its good moments but they're too scarce and too scattered for the game to truly deliver.

    It is the small things which hold it back, which is also the annoying part about it. Why a game that spent so much time in Early Access on Steam, with a rich universe to draw from can be so unpleasant to play is stupendously frustrating. Instead of wanting to play just one more match in the small hours of the morning, I was forced to bear and grin the unjust torment. In defense of Eternal Crusade I really enjoyed playing as different factions and races. It was spectacular to dive into a universe rich with history and tragedy combined with the violent combat I expect from a Warhammer game.

    Mechanicaly identical to Space Marine, Eternal Crusade feels like it should've stayed in the early access stage for a while. It will take a lot of fixing and a hefty price drop until we could recommend this side of the grimdark 40K universe.
