    It is actually very solid well made and well polished. I think in all fairness it is 9 rather than 10, but I just want other people to appreciate it more. It has a lot of potential min-maxing X-com squad which when done efficiently makes steamrolling enemies extremely satisfying. I think it also allows for a lot of build versatility which is super cool and you are also pushed for anIt is actually very solid well made and well polished.     A damn enjoyable game so far! Everything seems to be on point (apart from some of the updates, why do the devs always manage to mess this up?) some of the missions get a bit repetitive but it's not too bad. This has to be the best 40k game I've played in years and I'm enjoying the crap out of it

    Anyways this game is great I only wish all the texts were voice acted.

    It has great story, voice acting and gameplay!

    The actual game here is really good, one of the best 40k video games for a long time. Actually production values with a decent story and solid gameplay. The interface looks a lot like XCOM but you can't play it in the same way - aggression is required. The difficulty is also higher than most games of its type with normal being an actual challenge, if you are comfy playing XCOM on normalThe actual game here is really good, one of the best 40k video games for a long time.     Loved Xcom games, loved 40k....and I love this game! The Twitch drop items are very basic and don't use any of them. The game looks, sounds and feels great. I'd recommend watching some YouTube playthroughs and make up your own minds as to whether it's the game for you .

    Poor game performance but very Fun indeed. İ hope fix that problems soon. Dont look steam rates. Only trolls and twitch drop babes.

    Really like the game so far (30+hrs)
    I love turn-base tactical, W40k lore and they did a really good job here :
    - various classes with various way to play each one of them - skills tree choice impacting game-play very hard - lot of different gear and play-style for each classes depending on what gear you equip - campaign is catchy, from the start, lots of mysterious events, the deeper    Really like the game so far (30+hrs)
    I love turn-base tactical, W40k lore and they did a really good job here :
    - various classes with various way to play each one of them
    - skills tree choice impacting game-play very hard
    - lot of different gear and play-style for each classes depending on what gear you equip
    - campaign is catchy, from the start, lots of mysterious events, the deeper you go in the Grand Father lair the more you ask yourself how seriously deep the system is infected...
    - variety of foes (at start, your Grey Knights seem a little bit squishy, being shred by little cultists with small guns, that the major inconvenience I had in the game so far, but after a few hours, your team start to have more gear and unlock skills which make your like way more easier (and the cultist are no longer a problem :p)

    I feel like this game is worth to try if you are incline to enjoy good ol' tactical.    … Expand

    Have had a pretty solid time with this thing so far! Only 10 hours in, but there's a lot of depth to it and I'm really enjoying where it seems to be going.

    Story presentation that features many great cutscenes. The powerfully staged battles are accompanied by a great Warhammer soundtrack.
    In the extensive campaign you take command of the Gray Knights. The great character classes can also be adapted in many ways and the talent trees are also very extensive.    Chaos Gate captures the Warhammer 40k atmosphere really well with a good one
    Story presentation that features many great cutscenes. The powerfully staged battles are accompanied by a great Warhammer soundtrack.
    In the extensive campaign you take command of the Gray Knights.
    The great character classes can also be adapted in many ways and the talent trees are also very extensive.
    Furthermore, there are also many upgrade options for our ship, the Baleful Edict, which is the linchpin for our missions or character management.
    The game also offers an in-game glossary in which all terms/designations are described in German in a way that is easy to understand.

    There are also a few things that can still be improved such as the balance and also the wound system as the days that a Gray Knight is injured is a bit too long.

    Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters has turned out to be a really great game for me.
    The short and crisp missions play really fast and very brutal.

    This game has two flaws. First one is that you basically need to learn to play it yourself or on the internet (managing your ship, ability builds, positive and negative effects etc.). Second one is that you'll see the same maps from some point of the game (with new enemies and missions but still). Otherwise it's really enjoyable, especially for that price.

    Best Warhammer 40000 game. Must have if you are fan of this universe. Must have if you are fan of tactic games. For others it will be 7-8 score game because of many same missions.

    Very good, in the future with new playable factions and campaigns it could be much better than XCOM (universe and stories with much better potential).

    Everything is fine, except for a few key flaws, in my opinion, so there are only 8. About the disadvantages: 1st - I had to look for a workaround to buy in Russia, 2nd - The choice of weapons is small even compared to the 1998 game. Well, the musical accompaniment in the 1998 game was better.

    Amazing realization of wh40k in an xcom style. First 40k game where models look like like tabletop minitiatures in terms of quality. Great succsessor to 1998 Chaos gate. Best videogame realizaton of wh40k since Dawn of war 1,2. Feels that people who made it love wh40k and original Chaos gate.

    This is one of the best Warhammer games ever made. The XCOM of Warhammers and you can spend days playing it. I highly recommend.

    The tactical part works great, and when you're not fighting, there's something to do on the ship as well. Warp drive repair, shield upgrades, barracks expansion. The bombarded planets look nice, the models could have been given a bit more space. But once you put the helmet on in the barracks, the epic feeling is back. [Issue#319]

    Warhammer 40K Chaosgate: Daemonhunters is a good evolutionary path for the genre and for the Warhammer franchise that usually deals with tabletop battles. If you like more isolated combat like in the glorious Firaxis title and you like Warhammer 40K then this is a perfect combination for you because - Emperor Protects!
