Warden: Melody of the Undergrowth promises a lot with it's homage to the N64 era of action-adventure games, unfortunately it falls short of the prestige associated with that era. What we're left with is a clunky game that glitches quite regularly, there's still potential in the future, but the game needs a lot of issues fixing.

Some compare this game directly against the most ambitious and successful titles in the history of the genre. This game was developed by a tiny company and it is their first attempt at such a game. Although sometimes buggy, they have made improvements since release. I enjoyed this game immensely and cannot wait for a sequel. Game Spew's review is pretty fair. The story is lackluster. The key is understanding what this game is as a product/ It's a stepping stone toward something great. There is a lot of potential. I strongly feel this was a great first attempt by Cardboard Keep. I can't wait to see what they do with this IP next. Full Review »
