    Bought the game as it released, having never played wc3 but always loved the lore. So I thought, what a great opportunity to see all the lore first hand.

    I'll be honest to say even for the lore you're just better off watching Youtube videos for free rather than wasting your time and money on this abomination.

    Yo no me quejo por un mes de retraso, me quejo de que a pesar de los recortes y todo lo demás sale con fallos que no debería tener. Las partidas personalizadas son uno de los pilares de Warcraft 3). Pues si de primeras no puedes jugar cuando lanzan un juego algo están haciendo mal. Para mí este juego tiene 3 pilares (Historia, multiplayer competitivo y multiplayer de partidasYo no me quejo por un mes de retraso, me quejo de que a pesar de los recortes y todo lo demás sale con fallos que no debería tener. Las partidas personalizadas son uno de los pilares de Warcraft 3). Pues si de primeras no puedes jugar cuando lanzan un juego algo están haciendo mal. Para mí este juego tiene 3 pilares (Historia, multiplayer competitivo y multiplayer de partidas personalizadas). Si recortan la historia extra que prometieron, las cinemáticas hechas de 0 y gran parte de la gente no puede jugar tower defense, dota, Hero wars, footmen, etc.) Por no hablar de que no puedes personalizar siquiera las hotkeys de una manera fácil sin toquetear archivos (cosa que en el remaster de Starcraft de 15 euros se podía).… Expand

    Terribly disappointed at Blizzard for falsely promising and not delivering. Didn't even get a refund - I won't be buying another Blizzard product.

    With all the underhanded shenanigans with the marketing for this game, the user agreements, etc... this is an unfortunate betrayal of the original game and principles of Blizzard. Some of the art is very good, but honestly it is lacking for something put out by a major studio in 2020, and clearly shows Blizzard rolled back the budget at some point.

    I can't even run the game, I'm only getting a blank screen and I can't get a refund. It reminds me that the good old Blizzard is no more. I'm done with Blizzard, the company has become one big disappointment.

Keep your china loving self's out of the market going forward. This game was a disgrace and clearly the fans love warcraft far greater then them. I'm so sorry to all the devs.

    There should be a promise of future expansions including features promised to be included in the game in the original release date in December 2019 or massive refund campaign from Blizzard as this is absolutely unacceptable.

    There is no reason to buy this game, Just buy the original. It's superior in every way.
    So they made a sup par game ok, is that really worth a 0?
    YES, because including that they have made the modding scene **** Making it that all mods are owned by Blizzard.
    And even if you don't care about that, you still can't play it, since the game is horribly optimized. The menus barely works.

    As someone who didn’t necessarily grow up with the original, but was a fan of the original, this is just sad. A blatant rip off of such a beloved game. The last time I played Warcraft 3 was quite some time ago but I instantly recognized those cut scenes as the originals. The UI is just as clunky as it was back then, and it breaks my heart to see the once great blizzard now fallen.

    First they took from me ROC section. I played it for years (didn’t like TFT that much). Then being forced I switched to TFT. Then they took from me TFT. So I bought Reforged (along with new computer in order to play it). And I ended up with NOTHING. They killed the legend. My beloved Warcraft 3 game, the legendary RTS of all time, the ONLY video game I played for years. Sad time. FeelingFirst they took from me ROC section.     Bought the Delux Eidition first thing in the morning after waiting for decades and playing WCIII constantly over the years (Shout out to Grubby whos videos are constantly pushed into my YouTube recommendations!) and now this... Got into the campaign the graphics look awkward and the portrait animations are just horrible. Classic was more fluid. FPS drops, couldn't accept the first quest...Bought the Delux Eidition first thing in the morning after waiting for decades and playing WCIII constantly over the years (Shout out to Grubby whos videos are constantly pushed into my YouTube recommendations!) and now this... Got into the campaign the graphics look awkward and the portrait animations are just horrible. Classic was more fluid. FPS drops, couldn't accept the first quest... bandit leader was invulnerable and therfore couldnt even finish the FIRST MISSION! After tabbing out of the game the sound died. Refunded the game within 15 minutes flat. **** YOU ACTIVISION!!!!!

    Blizzard has done it again, showing that it has no desire to enrich its properties, just continue raking in profits for minimal effort. I mean it, this game was made with minimal effort and the oversight on bugs and polish is glaring. I wish I could say this is surprising to me, though sometimes you have to see the mess for yourself to believe it.

    This is and absolute disaster from Blizzard. Not only will they have ownership for anything created on the WC3 Refunded (Reforged), but everything created in the old WC3 will also be claimed by Blizzard. Just think about this, it will have huge ramifications for fan-made content.

    Obviously the lacking features and the bad framerate I will score 0/10, but with other games, I would put some points for the effort etc.. with this game I see no sign of effort or anything like that. I actually find it insulting to release the game in such way...

However, because I own and still actively play the original WC3, Blizzard felt it appropriate to install reforged to my computer, overwriting my game files for WC3 without my knowledge or consent. Now I have a broken version of my former game, a install size of 30GB instead of 1.5GB and hours ofI do not own this game. I do not desire to own this game. I want nothing to do with is game. However, because I own and still actively play the original WC3, Blizzard felt it appropriate to install reforged to my computer, overwriting my game files for WC3 without my knowledge or consent.     меня ответ поддержки добил сделаем возврат в качестве исключения я решил написать поддержки чтоб своё исключение засунули в одно место еще предложили пройти анкету почему я так негативно отнесся а выходит что даже результаты не принимаются короче молодцы из за этого залез на метакритик и поставил свой диз в первый раз такое но такого свинского отношения не ожидал молодцы разозлилименя ответ поддержки добил сделаем возврат в качестве исключения я решил написать поддержки чтоб своё исключение засунули в одно место еще предложили пройти анкету почему я так негативно отнесся а выходит что даже результаты не принимаются короче молодцы из за этого залез на метакритик и поставил свой диз в первый раз такое но такого свинского отношения не ожидал молодцы разозлили хорошо)))… Expand

    I got forced to download that undescribable Thing because i own WC3 since my Childhood and this one here Right now is horrible.

    -15minutes blackscreen at starting
    -Menu doesn't work Right
    -Can't join any custom games

    I have not bought or played this game But I have (do) play the original. Unfortunately the *deforged* version that was recently released included forced changes to the original game. The result is a significantly diminished game. Nobody expected or wanted these changes to the original version.

    objectively inferior in every way except character models. main menu runs on a chromium app and bugs out. this is a demaster, its quite the feat.

    This review is specifically for the Reforged version of the game. I loved the original at the time, and even years later enjoyed the playback. This is not supposed to be that version, it's supposed to be an improvement worth purchasing a second time.     This is not a "reforge" of the original game in any strict sense of the word. The old game client was deprecated, and everyone was forced to upgrade. Some features from the old game were locked behind a pay-wall, like the ability to change shadows; while others were straight out removed like cross-region play; this game is an inferior product from the get-go.

    The fact that you can't go back to the old client aggravates this, it feels forced, scummy and cash grabby; and the gameplay is even worse, since the game has technical, logistical and development problems all over the place, including lack of ladder, custom games now owned by the company (which effectively means working for them for free and they can take your original idea and offer no compensation whatsoever), false advertising, and denial of refunds even against the law, among many others.

    it's a real shame, but it's a 0 well deserved.    … Expand

    I'd rather have paid to prevent them from releasing this. You can no longer play using the old client, and even the menus run like **** on the new one. Disgusting.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
