    I was very disappointed. I don`t like this new graphics, the old engine was smarter.
    The game wasn`t optimized, it`s lagging in the main menu!

    Сделал предзаказ в первый день , могу сказать одно - Картам был прав.
    До последнего надеялся что перенос был вызван только из-за ошибок в сетевой игре, но увы.
    Прошел пролог за Орду и 2 Миссии за Альянс и не смог больше.Мне как фанату оригинального вк3 очень обидно за такой "Рефордж".    Сделал предзаказ в первый день , могу сказать одно - Картам был прав.
    До последнего надеялся что перенос был вызван только из-за ошибок в сетевой игре, но увы.

    - I was forced to upgrade to reforged, although I didn't buy it
    - I can't reinstall the classic version - Ranked game functionality has been removed - player profiles have been removed - I lost my friends list - no clans - the custom games and custom campaings library has been removed from the disk - there is no LAN game option (we play like that every    Why did I rate this game 0?

    - there is no LAN game option (we play like that every week with my son, we have a poor internet connection, friends with their laptop often visit us, then we play various custom games together, eat popcorn, drink whiskey, talk, remember)

    Unfortunately, all this is currently not possible. We just don't have our beloved game anymore.
    Why all functionalities were not left unchanged as in the StarCraft remaster?

    Better graphics? It doesn't matter to us. Better models? It doesn't matter to us.    … Expand

    Blizzard has lost their touch. This is a low quality game. It looks worst than the original and is clunky.

    I am not entirely sure what was going at blizzard when they were making this, a game that had so much promise and the demos looked excellent, has turned out to be nothing more than complete trash

    A Remake build on false advertisement and lies, Most of the features that they are still advertising with on their Website aren't even in the game, the only thing that looks better are the Models and overall it seems like even features from the original game are missing, so what you are paying for is basically retextured character models in not even the full game.

    Когда-то лучшая игровая компания стала лютым трешеделом. Ничего не создавая, они умудряются заваливать казалось бы 100% выигрышные ходы - выпустить тот же обожаемый варик 3 заново. Но обосраться хуже чем здесь, казалось было нельзя. Отвратительная игра с плохой озвучкой, артами, моделями и что показательно, даже с оптимизацией. Игра 2003 года раздутая до явно неоптимизированных 40+ гбКогда-то лучшая игровая компания стала лютым трешеделом. During BlizzCon 2018 Blizzard promised new mission animations, new voice overs, better UI and of course improved graphics and delivered none of these, except the redone Prophecy CGI intro and better models and textures. The difference between the BlizzCon showcase and release is staggering, considering the comparison videos floating everywhere. So,This is a massive disappointment!     They did a great thing in completely wrong way. I like the nostalgia and I don't even mind those few bugs I've experienced so far. But don't tell me that this is all that Blizzard is capable of in 2020..

It is difficult to reccomend this game to anyone, aside from the biggest Wacraft fans who will purchase the game for it's high price anyway. For the others I suggest the old version of WarcraftW3 is a great but dated RTS that can capture you with a good story and fun gameplay. For the others I suggest the old version of Warcraft 3 which you can get on the disk for the best experience. Unfortunately the updated version is plagued by many bugs in the campaign so I can hardly reccomend that either.

    Warcraft 3 is the best RTS of it's time and after 17 years of hype and cries for a sequel this whimper of a game is a big disappointment. If it isn't broke, don't fix it, and the many things "fixed" in this remaster just aren't working, aside from couple small wins here and there. Without going into detail, I can report that many moments from the orginal in terms of cutscenes were lost to poor redesign, many missions were changed for the worse thanks to a poor rebalancing. Some races seem to be much better looking than the others, for example Night Elves are just gorgeous while Undead seem to lack artistic polish.

    The original was made immortal especially thanks to it's funky graphics, the modern translation of them just doesn't work and looks ugly. This is not reimagining of a game, it is rather poor remaster with a few changes along the way and most of them are not even good. I play Wacraft 3 since 2002, I consider myself one of the games biggest fans and I wanted to love this game with all my heart and soul. But as I write this review, my score just went down from 5 to 3 only remembering how many things just seem to be the salt into the wound in this game, rather than the nostalgia trip I hoped for. There is nothing really new and exciting to see, it's sad how such amazing story full of great characters can be ruined by bad voicework, stiff cutscenes and needless design decisions.

    The only two positive things from this release are that Blizzard is interested in Wacraft RTS and will continue to support and update this game, until it can be a good purchase for half the price in much better state andthat the big uproar about this game only shows there is a fanbase and people are hungry for more Wacraft RTS. If this game is going to bring us Wacraft 4 or just delay it another 20 years is though yet to be decided...

    - Not a great remaster, definitely not reimagining
    - Some cutscenes are bad

    - Some balance changes ruin the game
    - Graphic bugs, sound bugs, login problems
    - Some animations are stiff and make unclear what is happening on the battlefield
    - A lot of the original magic is lost with bad art choices
    - There is not enough new to enjoy
    - High price

    3/10 - not reccomended

    How do you have LESS features than a game that came out over a decade ago? How is the "Reforged" version worse than the original? Blizzard is just so trash now, this should be evidence of that if all the prior screw ups of theirs weren't enough.

This "Game" is worse than the original. It's not worth the money. They didn't care about anything except making a profit. And it shames the game of my childhood and one of my favorite games.… Expand

    First game I've ever refunded; and I was so incredibly psyched about this, as someone who played the original who played it when I was a teenager and has very fond memories of it.

    Shame on you Blizzard. You're not my childhood hero that made Diablo I and II, Warcraft II and III, Starcraft and World of Warcraft (up until the end of Lich King) any more. Something, somewhere went horribly wrong in the last decade for you.    … Expand

Saw the weird unimpressive artwork/game play from beta players.(they pretty much redid the art style from kool wc cartoon to Korean MMO- which blows my mind cause wc is the BEST MMO....) Still intended to play it and love it. Game day release: campaign has issues, match making has issues, multiplayer settings don't work, has    Cash grab.

After playing the Orc introduction campaign until they reach Kalimdor and we start with Arthas... nothing happens. The moment I end up reaching the mission from the trailer, I'm crying. Generic bugged "cutscenes" that were a copy and paste from the original. That was the start of me opening my eyes. Here is a list of all the problems I've noticed myself. I'm sure there is way more issues with the game. Also, i'm stuck with 30 GB of unplayable data to play my regular Warcraft 3 copy. I'm so damn sad. This was my favourite game with SC Brood War. Now, I have a salty taste. I can't even defend Blizzard on this one. The CAD price of this game is 49.99$ for the Spoil of War version, which I bought the day they announced it. I even played it on the Blizzcon floor myself in 2019 and there was the Stratholme quest and all. If you've never played the game and want to learn more about the campaign, it's "barely alright". You'd better play the old version because you can get a legit key for less than 10$. You won't run this version at 4K 144HZ uncapped FPS. It's even locked at 30 fps. I really hope Blizzard gives us information on what they will do. I've never seen a Blizzard game with a rating that low. I probably won't buy another product from Blizzard before the official release "Yeah this one is on me".

    - No upgraded/switchable story that connects W3R to WoW
    - No added content
    - Clunky interface
    - Screen even more zoomed-in and can't zoom it out
    - Some horrible bug from the previous build are still there
    - Campaign bug "hero/minion stuck" in invisible items
    - Graphics lowered vs the one shown on the trailer/website

Интерфейс можно было сделать и компактнее, как это было реализовано в LoL(через настройки). Вы решили сделать Warcraft 3 в Китае бесплатным и при этом объединить его с reforged, ГЕНИАЛЬНАЯ ИДЕЯ!!! Лучше сделали бы remake, а не это... Хотя вы уже окончательно решили всю фанбазу растерять. Вы только что убили мое детство. Коронавируса на вас мало. Удачи вам в разработке Diablo 4.… Expand

    I created an account just to discuss how disappointing this game is. Not even going to bother asking for a refund after all the horror stories about bans and such. Old Blizzard and their amazing standards are dead. Long live the era of bait and switch and garbage content. At least with Bethesda and EA I know to expect this kind of crap.

    Modelos en HD y texturas de mayor resolución, no hay mas, el doblaje empeora la experiencia, la música es la misma y sin cambios, parece que los fps estuvieran captados a 30 o 40, digno de pedir una devolución del dinero invertido y lo que se mostró en la blizcon no existe, una pena, y la IA una pena no hay mejora en nada

    He probado el juego, me arrepiento de haber hecho la precompra sin antes leer las criticas y en serio, el aspecto visual es lamentable, en la version beta juro que se w mucho mejor que en la versión retail, cuando instale el juego lo hice en la version latino, sin embargo automáticamente me configuro la version español de españa.

    Been playing this game and my little brother before he passed away in 2009 because of cerebral aneurysm. I still play it from time to time until now but I was totally disappointed on how Blizzard modify its custom game mode. They removed a lot of features like replay archive, player profile and Ladder, Clans and and most custom games are ridden with bugs and graphical issues.     За пару дней я прошла несколько кампаний...ничего не буду говорить про оптимизацию и лаги, и так много сказано уже. Не знаю, для кого сделан средний режим сложности, но я его не ощутила вообще. Модельки красивые, да, радуют глаз, но при общих лагах атмосферы не чувствуется, некоторые анимации сделаны на отвали. Чувство, будто карты глав уменьшили, работа над ландшафтом КельТаласа плохая: стоит сравнить атмосферность карт глав, где Арт*с только приходит в эльфийские леса, из в3 и рефорж...

    Они потеряли ту атмосферу, ту манящую изюминку, душу...

    Так как я очень люблю варкрафт, я могу простить близам эту халтуру, но кара в виде горящих пуканов моих со-фанатов таки настигнет их.    … Expand

    WC3 Reforged lacks many of the original WC3's features. While the devs have promised to fix some of these issues in future patches, some questions still remain unanswered, especially ones related to custom games. It's clear Blizzard doesn't want another multi-milllion genre (hi, Dota/LoL) escape from its grasp, but the way they chose to keep everything under their control is very ungraceful and restrictive towards the fans. Especially if we compare their approach to a company like Valve (offer actual job positions to the best modmakers and allow them to create and nurture some of the world's most recognizable and profitable IPs).

    This used to be an 8/10 review - being a Blizzard loyalist, I still had some positive outlook about the game. I hoped the developers would be able to fix the game's gaping problems, and perhaps even start adding the content that was supposed to be in the game before. Alas, that didn't happen. Turning off the "shill mode" and looking at the game on its own merit, WC3 Reforged deserves nothing more than 3/10 - perhaps 4/10, if you're generous.    … Expand

    All the custommaps are gone because Blizz now OWNS everything a modder would add to it. Things got cut because of their problematic nature. This is a over 10 year old game, with updated but still outdated models, trimmed moddabilty & funtionality ( you cant even play against AI offline!) also your old WC3 gets    This is the product you´ll get when sales people dictate what gamers want.

    Ok, good at first - the reworked models, textures are really decent.
    But everything else isn't.
    You start a mission, got black screen, after while the blue bar on bottom appears but not full only a part of it. And then u get the defeat screen. That is my first attempt to play and it happens again many times. I think the game was clearly pushed aside from blizzard and no one from lead-management cares. And that's a shame and the blizzard deserve every hate they get.    … Expand

    I never played Warcraft 3 when was I young but I did play shortly after Warcraft 3 Reforged was announced. The issues are very very glaring. 1) The UI is buggy and awful.
    2) The “upgraded” terrain is actually lesser quality than the original.

    It's not a remake. It's just a very poor HD remaster! The graphics hasn't been upgraded much same to audio. Interface is just copy past from the old version. Blizzard should try residen evil 2 remake before they did they remaster.

    Je vais ici noter et critiquer la partie "Remaster" de W3R, et non pas le jeu en lui même.

    A 30 balles, ce W3R propose simplement... De nouveaux modèles... Voilà... C'est tout.

    Pas de changement de GamePlay (toujours limité à 12 unités sélectionnées).

    Bref, pour 30 ou 40 balles, vous avez fait quoi les mecs ? Il est où le travail là ? C'est pu de la feignantise là ! C'est le niveau supérieur. Ils auraient pu tout aussi bien changer le numéro de version et ne rien faire d'autre que ça aurait été pareil >< ...

    La compatibilité avec les écrans récent avait déjà été patché ou était bidouillable par le passé, donc ça ils l'ont pas fait pour Reforged.
    Allez, on va dire qu'ils ont rendu le jeu compatible avec Battle.NET 2.0... Wuhu... Génial... 40 Balles les mecs... 40 Balles...

    On this, the advantages of this remaster end. There are no new cutscenes, the battlenet looks primitive, there is no ladder and it is not clear why they left the texture of the earth as colorful as in the original and the models are pale..
    I think blizzard just did not have enough time .. shame on you, activision

    the worst thing is not the quality of Reforged itself, which is very poor both visually and technically (performance, network), but the fact that they killed the original Warcraft 3 - the lack of a local network, clans, ladder, custom campaigns.

    So many important features have been gutted including LAN support. How many hours I've spent at LAN parties playing Warcraft III Frozen Throne with friends and this new and "improved" version has completely removed this critical feature. Unfortunately this is just the tip of the iceberg. This game release is the perfect example of how to completely fail at remastering an old game.

    They removed the original game , that was perfectly good. They removed the version that held the nostalgia. They replaced it with with a mutant mess, with ugly female characters, bug and crashes everywhere and no new cutscenes, when 4 hours were promised.
    Blizzard is no longer Blizzard. They are just another woke , money grabbing, soulless , machine.

    I refunded the game in December 2019 when they admitted that they could not get the game done on time (original release date was set as on or before 31 Dec 2019); lucky for me I guess as what they have done here is a complete joke, it mocks the hard work the original team did back in the day.

It's like asking musicians to automatically waive all their rights to music they compose and record on a commercial piece of software they paid for. This absurdity will make modding (for those who care) practically dead.

    Another **** for Blizzard, with all the bugs, downgrades from the ads, refunds denial, **** up the original... Its just sad to see how once beloved game companies turn into whatever this can be called.

    Can only comment on offline custom games. Was very bad at first, I was just playing AI and would disconnect due to connection?! Can now seem to play offline or it has been better displayed on GUI to logout or force custom game wherein there is only AI. Am more of a huge Broodwar fan...but graphics are nice but have lost some cartoonish charm.

    Rien de nouveau mise à part les modèles 3D des personnages et les bâtiments légèrement amélioré...on nous avez promis des cinématiques refaite en précal comme in game mais il n'en est rien le jeu est identique a celui sortie en 2002 alors pour 29.99 euros je trouve que c'est quand même prendre les gens pour des murlocs.

    autant acheter le jeu de base avec son extension moins cher et profiter tout autant.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Warcraft 3 was my favourite game of all time and I was super hyped for Warcraft Reforged.

    Literally all time.

    Unfortunately Reforged turned out to be a buggy mess, several of the models look even worse than the original, a defeat screen would come up occasionally, ruining the campaign for no reason and worst of all some levels wouldn't even open up. Still this doesn't begin to describe the problems with this game.
    For some reason they thought it was a good idea to balance a game that was almost two decades old, the new hero models look all over the place and nothing like the original and to top it off they decided that the Wow-aesthetic was better than the original Warcraft style. Regardless, even with that it wouldn't have been that bad.

    But it gets Worse

    So much worse.

    The bugs for some reason prevent people from playing the original Warcraft 3 so you had to buy reforged, then they decided everyone needed to download the new reforged game and increase my just-at-few-GB game into a more than twenty Gb game. I live in a country with pretty damn poor internet so it took me almost 4 days to download the thing.
    And even when i did, I coulkdn't join anyones games initially, I couldn't play single player melee and I couldn't finish the campaign after randomly getting booted out of the games.

    And finally the worst part of all this:
    Custom games are dead
    Reforged killed almost all the custom maps so they couldn't be played.
    And to top it off they introduced a EULA that prevented people from making custom maps.
    Custom Maps are ruined.
    The chances of people fixing all of the lost maps (that were also deleted from my computer, thank god I kept a backup) are pretty damn abyssal, not to mention all thge fan maps, like Dragon Ball Z tribute or all those Naurto dotas.

    Blizzard has actually ruined my favourite game for what was merely meant to be a cash grab.
    All they had to do was make it so we could have Better models, instead they decided to go all out and beat Bethesda Creation club idea. Imagined if they introduced a Skyrim patch that deleted all mods and made it so all mods created are sole property of Bethesda.
    Blizzard killed one of the most popular RTS's on the planet so its no wonder they're getting negative reviews.    … Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
