    Aside of all known things, like missing features unlike classic game, false advertising and refusing to refund people and banning them, they also shut down the servers for classic Warcraft 3 and force everybody to update to worse Reforged version with classic graphics.     Not good. I mean not good at all. Blizzard failed at every aspect. Lied to their customers. Never again will i buy a Blizzard game.

    Warcraft 3 is literally my first ever owned PC game, I got it on my birthday when I was a 12-year-old kid 15 years ago. Since then I put thousand upon thousand of hours into the campaign, ladder, DotA and other custom maps. Blizzard not only gave us a stinking pile of garbage but on top of that, he destroyed the original game by merging it with this poo-poo. I can    This is unacceptable.

    Warcraft 3 is literally my first ever owned PC game, I got it on my birthday when I was a 12-year-old kid 15 years ago. Since then I put thousand upon thousand of hours into the campaign, ladder, DotA and other custom maps. Blizzard not only gave us a stinking pile of garbage but on top of that, he destroyed the original game by merging it with this poo-poo. I can no longer legally play the game I owned since 2005. It got taken away and replaced with bugged Reforged without textures.

    Not only that, but their new policy regarding custom games destroy any creativity there can be in the editor, because no matter what you do and how popular your map will be Blizzard owns it without question.

    Deforged right there, the remake was doomed the very second they decided to make it compatibile with the classic wc3, they even had some great futures during the beta that they had to remove bcuz they couldn't fix them (f.e. hero glow being separate toggle for all units, instead of being a part of model), lmao

The Blizzard we once all love is gone, taken over by Activation, all have been consume by cooperate greed, their end of the quarter report to the investors are coming out Feb 6th, so they have to push out an unpolished piece of trash. In 2018, we had "Do none of you have a phone?" created a cash-grab of an beloved franchise for more money from the Chinese market. In 2019, "Free Hong Kong", as the fight for freedom erupt but Blizzard, more like Activation as they are the ones who really ruin everything, all they care about is money, cutting back budget to fire employees but the new heads of the finical department gets millions in bonus. 2020, now we have the "Warcraft 3: Refunded edition", where its just a piece of crap. I'm looking forward to 2021, "Diablo 76", i guess you never disappoint if there is nothing left to be disappoint.… Expand

    Complete **** looks like free mobile game with bought assets in china.
    I dont know what they were trying by making it, they have just replaced assets and thats it.

    Plain awful. Didn't deliver what was promised, and even ruined the original game to boot. Screw Blizzard. They are dead and are now just Activision douches.

    I play Warcraft more than 20 years. My game and PC experience started with Warcraft 2 Tides of Darkness. I waited this remaster and preordered when it was announced. Why blizzard ? Why old features missed ? Why same cutacenes ? Why all that changed is character models. Nothing else. Other same except some features which was before now is cropped. Total fail . Total disappointed .

    The thing that angers me most is that the store pages for the WC3 RoC & TFT (Classic, 2002/2003) are pulled down.
    Essentially deleted, this ""remaster"" replacing them. But- for a long list of reasons -its done so much worse than what we had.
    Acting like the past 17 years never existed doesn't feel very good, does it?

And in fact features such as Ranked ladder, automated tournaments, player profiles which have been in Warcraft 3 for 17 years have been removed entirely. And have played it continuously for the past 17 years... I don’t really understand what I purchased in Reforged besides the visuals. There was supposed to be so much more content in this game than what we have been left with.

    It is frankly insulting to Blizzards customers to release such a poor product. That adds less features than it in fact takes away.

    Blizzard should correct this absolute trash release and go back and add in the features that were promised and that most people paid for. This release is in my opinion criminally bad. It really borderline hits the line between what could be considered false advertising and bait and switch.    … Expand

    Misleading marketing, not delivering anything else than some upgraded textures, while having a worse game experience than the original (FPS drops, ew Bnet forced,...)

    Blizzard really s#it the bed on this one, it would appear that they can't help themselves from making horrible business decisions. Do not buy this game, people are being punished for wanting refunds. Just, wow.

    Took a masterpiece of a strategy game and ruined it. There clearly was no QA and no thought to what people actually enjoyed about the original.

    They really did a number on their fans. Broken promises and false advertising. The cutscenes are not reforged. They're nothing like what was shown in 2018. They even have a trailer on playwarcraft3.com showing a reforged cutscene that's not in the game! What even?! The new UI is missing too..

    The most insulting piece of software I've ever laid my eyes on, I can't believe Blizzard higher ups sat down around a table, looked at this game current state, and approved its release with serious faces.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
