Apr 9, 2021I've created metacritic account just so I can give this pile of **** 0 score.
This is absolute betrayal from Blizzard. They have promised a tons of things for this game and all they did is change assets - which was also done by some external company and you can tell.
I guess the lesson from this game is: Never pre-order Blizzard game again :) -

Feb 27, 2021Biggest deception in my gaming life. This was made by people that don’t care about the original and absolutely did not understand what made the original so good. Even worse, they replaced the original game with reforged. As such they destroyed a 20 year old classic game that was still unmatched in its genre and to which there is no alternative.

Feb 18, 2021My rating is purely based on the remake and how it removed features from owners of the original game. Reforged is still fun to play warcraft 3 is my favorite game of all time and at the core it is the same. I am just sad that reforged was so poorly excecuted as it would have been fantastic if it could bring the joy of this game to new players

Jan 28, 2021Even after all this time there is still no custom campaigns and hardly any improvements to the main game showing they are working towards what they first officially had shown.

Some unit portraits are incredibly terrible.
No cinematics in campaign
Queing system bugs out and you can't get out of queue, you need to close the game in order to queue again.
I don't recommend buying this piece of ****

Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

Mar 4, 2020In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.
