    From 1995, Blizzard Entertainment was one of the best gaming companies on the Market. In 2004 they have cought a WoW virus. There have been 0 good games since then, jsut attempts to suck money out of their fans, because they goy lazy. Why make new great games, if you are selling WoW subscription for 15 years? Why invent something new, if you cant repaint old games (SC Remastered / WC3From 1995, Blizzard Entertainment was one of the best gaming companies on the Market. In 2004 they have cought a WoW virus.     Yes, they removed new detailed terrain and trees. Yes, they removed new compact interface. Yes, they almost haven't done any cinematic reworks. Yes, there is some bugs at start. But I still have exactly what I wanted when Reforged was announced. Good old W3 with new vision. I    Yes, they've shown not what we have now.

    But I still have exactly what I wanted when Reforged was announced. Good old W3 with new vision. I really love new models, new buildings, HD terrain and trees, and sounds. I'm glad they saved old style of environment and interface, saved right contrast perception of colors without too much shadows and shaders. It could be another game with another ambiance if they would did it first way they wanted. They gave wrong expectations when they changed way of development after alpha. It was general Blizzard's mistake. But I'm glad I have this one W3 remaster.    … Expand

    Not a great launch and unfortunately the month long delay for the release date doesn't seem like it was enough for the game to actually improve and have everything fleshed out. The game needed another month maybe even two. Because of all the current problems with the game I would rate it a 5/10. But with time when the game gets patched and many of the issues get fixed, I'm sure this game could be a solid 7/10 or 8/10 (I will most probably update my score then). Unfortunately, compared to the original, which released in 2002, this remaster version can't even hold a candle to it. Maybe in the future if there is another massive graphics and animation overhaul, in addition to all of the other bugs being fixed it could reach a score of 10. Otherwise, for the moment I don't see it or feel the nostalgia.

    Pros:
    - Nice graphics, but not as amazing as I expected.
    - Nice magic effects, but not as good or revamped as expected.
    - Some??? cut-scenes have been re-rendered and look amazing.

    Cons:
    - The fight animations (magic casting, ranged and melee) are on occasion not consistent, e.g. character stops mid animation or repeats animation etc.
    - Moreover, I expected new fight and movement/death animations and improved magic effects. But this is just about the same as the original.
    - Some of the old modded maps work, which is nice, but many don't work as they should, which is crap.
    - Stat screen at the end of games seems to on occasion have hero icons floating all over the place or not showing stats in genera? (not sure if this is just me)
    - Campaign missions seem bugged at times (at least the prologue missions seem to work).    … Expand

    It doesn't support custom campaigns. New visuals are also a downgrade from old graphics. Especially the terrain is worse.

    As an old time warcraft 3 fan I've thought this release will bring back life into this game, but this release shows otherwise. I'm requesting refund

    В игре есть довольно много багов, заявленных катсцен, как на Blizzcon 2018 нет, как и интерфейса. Но за графику прибавлю баллов. Это 5 из 10, не более. Жду исправлений ошибок.

    Warcraft 3 used to be a great game. But now... like all of Activision Blizzard products it is just a masterful piece of marketing work with zero art or gaming value. This game was developed by outsource company. There are a lot of bugs and bad optimization. Many promises that AB made about W3 reforged (like enhanced campaign and new interface) were lies.     Очень понравился итоговый продукт, есть над чем поработать, но я уверен, что Blizzard всё отполируют, с нетерпением жду нового контента.     It’s just some kind of shame ... Making us wait 14 months and finally give the schedule for the 2005 level - for which we should pay the full price, especially to those who bought the original. Graphically, the game remained unchanged, just added support for modern permissions.

    Фанаты давно просили близард улучшить графику и сделать нормальную поддержку создание лоби и картостроения. Мы это получили. Кампанию и так все считали отличным по этому про её изменения речи особой не шло. Собственно о чём просили то и получили, да есть баги, но их пофиксят. Зато подумайте это же поддержка старого доброго варкрафта!     I am a huge wc3 fan, but now I feel like they totally raped the orginal wc3 and released something that is an ALPHA version (not even beta). Wc3 was one of the first competitive games ever, and to release a game of that nature without user profiles, statistics on wins/losses or ranking brackets likr diamond/silver/master etc is absurd. До сей поры игры у меня не вызывали особо разочарования, я старался искать плюсы и опускать минусы, ну или сводить эти минусы в минимальным проблемам игры. Когда был только анонсирован WC3 Reforged, для меня это было чем-то потрясающим, вау, старая игра с новой графикой, новые катсцены, обновленная кампания! И вотИтак. Пусть это будет мой первый отзыв об игре, надо же с чего-то начинать. До сей поры игры у меня не вызывали особо разочарования, я старался искать плюсы и опускать минусы, ну или сводить эти минусы в минимальным проблемам игры. Когда был только анонсирован WC3 Reforged, для меня это было чем-то потрясающим, вау, старая игра с новой графикой, новые катсцены, обновленная кампания! И вот проходит 2(?) года и месяц с предзаказа мной данной игры. Первое что порадовало, обилие матчей в пользовательских играх, в открытой бете я очень таки наигрался в различные кастомки с новым и старым графоном. Но вот сидишь в меню игры, смотришь на это все и не ощущаешь тех чувств, когда запускаешь оригинальный WC3, будь то Reign of chaos или же Frozen Throne. В частности при выборе кампании тебя сразу же закидывают в миссию, не давая попасть в выбор этих миссий. Почему я уделяю внимание именно этому? Мне очень нравились фракционные меню кампаний, вот выбираешь кампанию ночных эльфов, экран темнеет и переносит тебя к совершенно другим декорациям, на фоне которых и стоит лучница ночных эльфов. В Reforged эти самые меню тоже есть, но... Псевдоанимированные картинки, серьезно? Ладно, это все же мелочи, но это первое за что я зацепился. Поиграв в "Исход орды" мне понравилась картинка в целом, но вот цветовая гамма местности ну как-то не очень, мягко говоря. И вот я снова зацепился за мелочь. Портреты персонажей. В катсценках при разговоре они не выглядят живыми. Статичный взгляд, почти неподвижная голова, не говоря уже про "липсинк". Да, игра на том же самом движке, я понимаю. Но вот даже на старых модельках они выглядели живее, хоть и немного нелепо. Снова мелочи, снова придирки. Но не тут то было, просадки ФПС, здравствуйте, давно не виделись в WC3! Видно очень сильно грузят новые текстурки мою систему, понимаю. Ладно катсцены, но неужели активижен настолько сильно подгонял, что вы игровые ролики не смогли переделать? Меня очень порадовал вступительный ролик, почти тот же самый, что я увидел в первый раз (это про орка и пехотинца, которому оторвут руку в оригнальном ролике, а в обновленной версии нет (у нас тут как бы овервотч по соседству, какие оторванные конечности, вы что!))
    Сам геймплей ощущается таким же, каким и был, мне нравится история игры, персонажи и весь мир игры. Моя оценка 5, но это оценка самой Warcraft 3. Оценка Warcraft 3 Reforged - 0 баллов. Я играю в тот же самый варкрафт, но с новыми текстурками и звуками. Боюсь, что тех самых Blizzard, которые могли и умели выпускать игры, которые мы любим больше нет. Балом правит Activision и кошелек Бобби Котика, прибыль с игр и цензура. Мое уважение Bungie хотя бы за то, что свалили из этого, надеюсь у Blizzard настанут лучшие времена. А пока, очень боюсь за Diablo 4 и будущее WoW.    … Expand

    i bought the original warcraft 3 when it came out in 2002 and then bought the frozen throne when it came out in 2003 so when i heard that a remake was coming out i was excited for a game that i played from release until its decline in playerbase would be getting a boon in new players and a graphics update but from the moment i saw gameplay footage all i could see was how terrible thei bought the original warcraft 3 when it came out in 2002 and then bought the frozen throne when it came out in 2003 so when i heard that a remake was coming out i was excited for a game that i played from release until its decline in playerbase would be getting a boon in new players and a graphics update but from the moment i saw gameplay footage all i could see was how terrible the textures and models were everything looked washed out like it they were going for the call of duty audience and they replaced the well defined models with ultra detailed garbage that makes crowds of units blend in together making any kind of fight look like a mosh pit which for an rts is a terrible thing to do then throughout the beta they addressed some of these issues and made it more colorful but its not like they had the time or money to remake the models into something that truly felt like a warcraft 3 model but with better graphics the UI also looks terrible so i went from excited to very much less so but i was still looking forward to all the people that would be playing customs and now at release i see that they not only completely removed the ability to play warcraft 3 in the classic launcher (if you launch the original frozen throne you get told an update is available and are forced to download a 25+ GB patch that completely removed the old main menu and replaces it with the brand new and Blizzard "IMPROVED"™ reforged main menu which forces you to log in with your battle net 2.0 information instead of you account which you have used for 15+ years as that along with all of your stats and your old friendslist are gone) and all of this your are forced to do unless you play a pirated version of the game and to add icing on this awful cake they removed the ability to play custom campaigns as well you can still make them is the worldeditor but there is no way to play them ingame you get all this even if you didn't buy reforged so they found a way to also **** over the veterans and **** over the legacy of warcraft 3 Thanks Blizzard… Expand

    the beta version is different (better) from the final project, exaples are cut-scenes with Arthas.

    4. А кастомки, это вообще стыд для 2020. Вон в Dota 2 эта тема раскрыта в 100 раз лучше.

    Как будто это все делали пара человек на чистом энтузиазме, один из которых хорошо умел делать модельки........... Я крайне разачарован.

    I pre-ordered the game back in November. I waited for it from 2018 and, moreover, the release date was postponed to January. And now they have released a completely different game with bugs, which is fundamentally different from the version on Blizzcon. I'm very upset.

They were on board with that idea up until last blizzcon where they decided to back up and just give the lackluster visual update that wasn't really that big of a deal    Warcraft: Reforged is a cashgrab.

    I feel they advertised the game for almost an entire year in a way that seemed like reforged was a completely new game and that they would change the campaigns to adapt it to the new lore. They were on board with that idea up until last blizzcon where they decided to back up and just give the lackluster visual update that wasn't really that big of a deal since the engine strips away every touch of "Warcraft" in it. I was so excited when WoWhead datamined the models for Anasterian Sunstrider for Reforged and just imagined how it'd feel to do the Scourge quests again with the details that we have now in the updated lore. I believe the main reason people bought the game was because of the things they promised and ended up not giving, that's why it had a huge blizzcon announcement while other remasters like StarCrafts weren't even promoted in a huge way (and yes I understand the difference between a full on visual update with a new engine and a resolution refinement, but you get the point)

    They said people didn't want to have the new stories put into the game, even though it wasn't ever a big deal because you had the original game to experience that, and the final result of that was a **** ton of people paying $40 for a delayed game that only carries a new graphics engine. I just feel like changing the decision and the philosophy in which the game was being developed mid-production led to this, which it's not technically a scam, but it wasn't what most people were looking for while buying this game and the critics show that. I think the worst part in all of this mess is that even though it's a visual "update" some of the models still look stiffy and terrible. For those defending this absurdly bad product saying "This is just what we wanted, just a visual update!" Just take a look st the other reviews. It's not what people wanted at all.    … Expand

    The game is terrible, there are no black bars on the sides in the main menu.
    The changes are minimal, the graphics are terrible, the animations looks bad.
    Why the release date was changed is unclear. Reskin the original game and nothing more. Awful.

    From what was promised, it isn't even close, only a remake to unit models..
    Waiting so long for a 'reforged' only to be disappointed, now blizzard can go back to dealing with their damn Overwatch..
    To hell with blizzard !!

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
