    lies about cutscenes, a lot of features removed from original game (and you can't play that one anymore)

    Also the game crushes

    Feels like no love was put in making this game.

Not only is Reforged a falsely advertised heap of monkey doo-doo, but I CAN'T EVEN PLAY THE ORIGINAL ANYMORE. Sure I can use the old polygonal graphics, but the game is otherwise the exact same as Reforged, with all the bugs and problems, all the changes that ruin how the game is supposed to play.What is wrong with you Blizzard?     You've taken a great game from 2002, gave it a superficial model-update, and took a big wet-fart all over the player-base. You've transformed a classic game into a buggy mess 18 years after it came out, and now you ask me to pay MORE MONEY FOR IT? Disgraceful!

    This is unprecedented. You have defiled a nearly 2 decade old game that I used to cherish just for money. I doubt the real creators of Warcraft 3 even work at your company anymore. You're a bunch of morally-bankrupt grave-robbers.

    The players are clearly the only people who truly valued this game. HOW ABOUT YOU STOP HOLDING MY WARCRAFT 3 HOSTAGE? WHY CAN'T YOU GIVE IT BACK?!

    You can go ahead and make terrible new titles and remasters that I won't pay for, but ruining classics made by the real Blizzard? You've crossed the line bud.

    The game doesn't add anything to the story. It is not a refirge more like a texture pack. But coming back on promises, scaling back shadows and forcing people with the original game to upgrade while destroying the creative community is why I have to give a zero. This is unacceptable and just is a disgrace to the people

    Cant even play through a campaign mission without the game causing my PC to crash to blue screen. Safe to say this game is blue screen crashing my nostalgia, respect and patience for Warcraft as a franchise and Blizzard as a company. I will play their free to play (without paying for micro transactions) but i doubt I will be purchasing any more from Blizzard.     Hear that it's fashionable to review bomb this game. Never played any Warcraft game in my life to be honest.....or any online multiplayer game for that matter. Not my thing. Looking forward to Doom Eternal and Resident Evil 3 remake on PS4 Pro.

    I just want what was promised. Revamped lore, new dialogue and voice actors, map rework. Everything that would make Warcraft 3 true to the current lore.

    The game is too buggy. Getting auto kicked from custom games is awful. Blizzard really messed this up.

    Very disappointed with this game. Now I know, I know, I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. But with it being blizzard, I genuinely had hope that this would be at least everything we saw for the announcements and demos. Nope. This is literally wc3 classic with even worse models(they're just upscaled originals). The game definitely looks sharper... But in a bad way. It reminds. Me of circaVery disappointed with this game. Now I know, I know, I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. But with it being blizzard, I genuinely had hope that this would be at least everything we saw for the announcements and demos. Nope. Me of circa 2010 graphics where machines could run at higher resolutions, but the developers already had the games mostly done and upscaled models. This is exactly like that, but worse. I'd rather have gotten a real remake and paid $60, rather than $30 for the exact same game that barely runs without crashing. Or better yet, wc4.     Ужасная игра...Вот знаете,это наверно многие говорят,но все же, такое чувство что сделали новые модельки и просто интегрировали карты из классики в рефордж,только все сие стоит 1300 рублей,разрабатывалось 2 года и преподносится будто шедевр,как мерзко...     If you followed the trailers, the press announcements from Blizzcon, the advertisement on its website, be prepared to very disappointed. Also not even for that, good luck trying to run the game smoothly. Plus, with Blizzard trying to not incentivize custom game creation by trying to claim ownership over the communities hard work, I fear the spirit of WC3 won't captured in this game.

    They give us false promises and generate some hype of the final release which is poor in UI and some models only improve the resolution. Everything else is bad than the original game.

    Trying to take advantage of people's nostalgia with a huge cash grab attempt and refusing to refund after Dishonouring their loyalty of sticking with them through the years is unforgivable. Promises were not delivered and game is utterly trash.

    I didn't wait 18 years to get this crap. I received the refund already, and will continue playing with my old copy of Warcraft III (I still have my old physical version so at least they were not able to remove that from my hands).

    I still can't believe this happened. Did the release of Reforged really just killed the legacy game and everything it stood for? Comptetive ladder games, fun custom games and a huge modding community - these three things are what kept warcraft 3 alive for 17 years. This game was an active breathing animal and acitivision blizzard basically cut off 3 of it's limbs and rip it's dick off. II still can't believe this happened. Did the release of Reforged really just killed the legacy game and everything it stood for? Comptetive ladder games, fun custom games and a huge modding community - these three things are what kept warcraft 3 alive for 17 years. The modding community were asking to get support from the higherups - hoping to get more tools handed to them .     Removed friend list, removed custom game filter, custom game list is no longer global - you can't play custom games with people from other regions, no MMR system, no custom keybinds, removed the Dryad's "I'm so wasted" voice line, possibly others missing that have yet to be discovered, cut all the promised new cutscenes, cut all the new english voice acting, new foreign dubs which are inferior and compulsory, can NOT be changed back, cut promised new story content, Arthas vs Illidan cutscene looks like cheap fanmade youtube ****, Menu is awful and unfinished with chat clipping.

    The end of match summary is completely butchered and doesn't tell you useful info, the old client is gone, even if you don't own reforged you're forced into replacing it if you ever connect to bnet, custom maps now have a report button so blizzard can ban maps and ban people hosting them and finally, remember that this was delayed before release

    I am genuinely happy for the very, very, very few people that have managed to find something enjoyable about this travesty, but Reforged is a genuine insult to everyone who has ever played a video game- the ABSOLUTE least Activision (not Blizz, as they have proven they don't exist as anything beyond a corporate tag) deserves in return is a slightly mean review.
    I was able to get my refund by promising legal repercussions, so that might work for you as well. If it doesn't, then whenever the inevitable class-action lawsuit pops up, you'll be able to join with visible evidence.    … Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
