    Let me first confess that I didn't play the original series. Now I know why people love the series! This game has been eating my free time like crazy. I'm planning on setting my alarm on a weekend to get in as much playing as I can. I hope to see some DLC coming for this game.

    Ok. It's so interesting to watch on negative reviews. But actualy, Activision is deserved this user score.
    I like Blizzard. But i'm compel to insert this "0" because we must show our wrath.

    Pathetic. Outsourced models are out of place and clash horribly. All the charm and features are gone. What we have now is a not a Blizzard product, it's some sorry excuse for a game that anyone who put their name on working on this should be ashamed.

    The game is so disappointed. Blizzard upgraded the picture and nothing surprised me what they have done just looks like a fan-work not like a Blizzard work. By the way, they should also upgrade the mini map and their management system.

    I love Warcraft III and I love custom games from this game. And was happy that Blizzard going to improve this game.
    But the "Warcraft III: Reforged" is not an improved old game, in reality, it is worsened and truncated version. And I can't play the old Warcraft III game now because of super-duper "backwards-compatibility".

    FIFA 20 makes this game look like a version of Witcher 3 where i get to bang golbins and witches and **** for real so thats what i base my review on.

    A "Reforged" shouldn't be an upgrade in some areas and a downgrade in others. It should be an upgrade or at least a kept-the-same in all areas. They also decided that they were going to claim full IP rights on any mods, so the mod scene for it is going to be dead before it gets started. Pre-ordered it first day it was available.     Warcraft III was my first blizzard game as a teenager and I became an avid blizzard fan since then. I started playing all games made by Blizzard and it was for a very long time my favorite game developing company.
    Fast forward to today, after the release of Warcraft III, I've lost all my faith in the this **** company and I refuse to play any more games made by Blizzard.
    Personally I am    Warcraft III was my first blizzard game as a teenager and I became an avid blizzard fan since then. I started playing all games made by Blizzard and it was for a very long time my favorite game developing company.
    Fast forward to today, after the release of Warcraft III, I've lost all my faith in the this **** company and I refuse to play any more games made by Blizzard.
    Personally I am grateful for this experience, observing my own opinion about something changing from extreme favoritism to extreme disgust. It really got me thinking about perspective and opinion and how nothing in this world stays the same just because you hope it would.
    I've noticed signs of decline in quality and deviation of the company's strategy over the last few years, but I've always denied the fact. It's definitely a life lesson for me that now I've came to accept the fact that Blizzard sucks now. Changing your strong opinion on something is not the easiest thing in the world, and congratulations to Blizzard, you've done it this time to me and millions of hardcore fan out there.
    So I really hope you crash and burn Blizzard, I'll always cherish the memories of the good times I've had with your games. I'm also very thankful to all the developer that worked really hard throughout the years for the joins you brought me.
    Blizzard, as a gaming company, you don't deserve to exist in this world. But again, same can be said about a lot of companies in the gaming world.    … Expand

    Reforged ? More like Downgraded. Apart from the new models (which admittedly are nice) they've removed so much from what it once was.
    The promises (as still shown on there webpage at this time) of extra content, redone cutscenes and the like are all not in the game.
    Broken so many custom games, the game itself crashes multiple times. I'm honestly shocked by how bad this was, I expected a    Reforged ? More like Downgraded. Apart from the new models (which admittedly are nice) they've removed so much from what it once was.
    The promises (as still shown on there webpage at this time) of extra content, redone cutscenes and the like are all not in the game.
    Broken so many custom games, the game itself crashes multiple times. I'm honestly shocked by how bad this was, I expected a Love Letter to one of the Best PC Games of all time, by the company who used to have such love for their products. Instead it's now just another example of Blizzard not caring anymore, make a quick buck and hurt those who were loyal to them. Hugely disappointing, but at least they gave me my refund    … Expand

Hopefully the game will be fixed and made playable down the road, but this launch is disastrous and Blizzard genuinely needs to re-evaluate their business model as the refund requests for this game pour in by the thousands. 0/10. I have extreme buyers remorse and I can't believe I was duped by a company that I have loved for so long. Fortunately, I have yet to open the game on my PC and I was lucky to have a friend who opened his copy up and we played it on his machine. Because of this, I will be able to get a full refund whereas my friend is no longer eligible. With the release of this game Blizzard has made some of the most egregious, and morally inept moves i have seen a company of their size make in a long time; just for a few extra dollars to fill their coffers. It pains me to say this but I will not pre-order, or play anymore Blizzard games moving forward until they fix their company culture, business model, and public relations and right so many of the wrongs they committed in 2019 and now early 2020.… Expand

What blizzard has done with Reforged is not only morally reprehensible, but LAZY, and threatens to destroy everything they built previously. That's how serious this is, on top of that going after the custom maps likeBlizzard you are dead to me. Ive been playing warcraft 3 since release, huge fan. I consider it one of the best games ever made because of the freedom it gave in custom games.     Never tought that something which helped me during my worst day of my life, game which I played when I was stressed, when I was enraged, when I got beaten up in school, something which was MY safe space where I can escape, could go so down for a greed. I never pre order any game (only CD Projekt Red games since they are the best company right now).     Blizzard has **** up in every possible way with this one, i am thanking the gods right now that i kept my 'less legit' disc copy of the game so i can reinstall the older version of classic cause they actually retroactively downgraded the classic version too.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
