    Don't listen to review bombers who thought they were promised something they weren't. The game is fun for what it is, just enjoy it.

    Друзья, прошло очень много времени с момента релиза и когда игра только вышла, я был полностью согласен с оценкой. Но время идет, Метелица выпускает все новые патчи, а игра преображается и действительно становится лучше. На данный момент она очень сильно отличается от того, что было на релизе и хотя она не стала на 10 баллов, но и 0.6 она уже не заслуживает, в данный момент игра на твердыеДрузья, прошло очень много времени с момента релиза и когда игра только вышла, я был полностью согласен с оценкой.     Graphics are barely beefed up, nothing like the concept trailers and art, I might have forgiven some of that with one of my favorite games, but I'd rather just play the original. You do not get to own mods, if someone makes a mod for your game and it gets really popular (DOTA) and you don't capitalize on making your own game (LoL, DOTA2) you don't get to go back and steal other people's work.

    My humble contribution to the review bomb given the way Blizzard's policies are going now. This company used to be one of the absolute top video game developers, now they're just another producer of cheap cash grabs.

    This garbage killed the original game for the people who liked to play only the original. Now you have to download 25GB unnecessary data just to play what you loved for 18 years. And above all, now it is broken.
    Shame! Endless shame.

    I try not to overreact to bad decisions like showing footage that doesn't hit the game. I try to be reasonable in what I consider a score for a game. But this game straight up earns the big fat goose egg for two reasons.

    First off it blocks owners of the original game from playing it anymore as the old client is no longer supported. That's unacceptable.     But more importantly the sheer avarice of Acti-Blizzard of laying claim to all custom mods and game modes because they see how much money the MOBA genre has made after starting in the original Warcraft III. But they didn't come up with the idea of DOTA; it just used their assets. They have no claim on that intellectual property. So screw you Blizzard, for that alone this deserves a zero.    … Expand

    This game is complete and utter garbage, just like Blizzard/Activision. I perm-deleted my Blizzard/Activision account many months ago. I do not miss it. I encourage others to stop supporting Blizzard/Activision's systematic greed and exploitation of players and e-sports talent and perm-delete your accounts as well.

    Not what I paid for and lots of stuff missing. If I look at the game without comparison and pretend I don't have the original then coming in as a new player I would expect to give this a 4 and that's only for the story. The gameplay in this day and age is below expectations and there is just too much missing from this.

    Blizzard botched up big time. I downloaded the original files and have my CD keys so I can at least play the single player campaign with the changes reforged made to classic.

    Stop supporting this company.

    After all the delays, one would have expected that Blizzard would at least take the time to polish it but in the end, Blizzard essentially sold this game with a fraudulent marketing campaign and did not deliver content that was advertised. Combine this with anti-consumer practices when it comes to custom maps, this game is a hard no-buy.

    I've never been big on the games Blizzard release however when I saw Reforged with updated graphics, new character models, proper cut scenes, more user friendly UI, etc, the game looked more like the kind of RPG I would play. The ONLY thing that has carried through from the advertising material is the updated character models (that Blizzard outsourced for.. so they have literally done nothing for Reforged).

    They blatantly lied about what this game would be before its release and they even went as far as to retroactively affect and ruin the original version with this "updated" version. The original online is gone, ladies and gentlemen. You are forced to use this new version no matter what version you play on. This should be criminal.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
