    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game, when I first downloaded it, it was very good. The balance between ranks and tanks were acceptable. After a few updates, it got unplayable. There are some overpowered tanks that one-shot you no matter what tank you have and also everything got much more harder to achieve. So this is why I rated on 0. I don't recommend downloading it.… Expand

    As tank simulator you'd better never start playing this **** Forget mighty Tiger, soviet t-34-85 will oneshot you from any side, but you will not with your 88mm. If you not donate for premium acc - prepair to get a lot of pain in battles with tougher tanks you just not able to penetrate their armor.

    I have well over 1000 hours of War Thunder played. I have been playing this game since it had aircraft only, for so many years, but I eventually had to stop. Gaijin intentionally ruins their economy and punishes players for just playing the game, so paying is pretty much mandatory. They have now removed folders in the tech tree so players have to grind more, and they have increased repairI have well over 1000 hours of War Thunder played. They have now removed folders in the tech tree so players have to grind more, and they have increased repair costs (like they have been doing for years). War Thunder has one of the most aggressive monetisation systems I've seen in a F2P game.

    Outside of that, balance is non-existent, things are kept overpowered intentionally so players pay to grind them and are then nerfed, some tiers are borderline unplayable, so are some poorly balanced nations, and so is the whole of naval. Powercreep happens constantly, particularly at higher tiers.

    And this is just the short of it. This game is not worth anyone's time. Don't play it. And, by the way, like every single time one of these community outrages happen, Gaijin will probably end up throwing a bone at the playerbase without fixing any of the game's issues. Don't fall for it. We at least need a serious change and a complete economy overhaul.    … Expand

    Унылейшая донатная дрочильня. Полнейший pay-to-win. На высоких рангах через одного играют с читами, разрабы ничего с этим не делают. Физика уровня 1999 года, оптимизации нет, много лагов.

    You pay to win, they pay to spam your steam search. Clicking "not interested button" doesn't remove this pos from constantly showing up at the top of my search results. Do not want. Did not ask for. Game looks lame.

    Totally trash! Unbalanced teams. Bad battle rating. Nothing real. Worst game community which i've ever seen. This game raped history.
    If you like planes - go play IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles, if you like tanks - go play IL2 Sturmovik Tank Crew, if you like ships - go play World of Warships (yeah ships in wt really sucks, just some boats with machineguns - really fun).

    But wait, there is more, you can get two-shooted, they shoot at your driver, you can't scape :). They shoot at your gunner, you can't even defend yourself :) and at that moment you just have to accept your death.
    This game could be the wet dream of a Call of Duty camper, but it's not, because is bad.

    You want another OP high tier vehicle for yourself in order to win matches easily without paying money? Well, **** you, play and grind for one hundred years to achieve it.

    Gaijin thinks that we are slaves of Research Points or what?
    If you don't have any boost on your account you will gain 700RP per match at max (if you are one of the best of your team)

    This game is also VEEERY boring and slow.

    Campaigns are the worst joke: cutscene, go to a place, cutscene, shoot some planes, cutscene, go back and land the plane. THANK GOD YOU CAN SKIP CUTSCENES.

    Don't waste your time, it's all about arcade mode, not very realistic, super buggy and glitchy, tanks appearing out of know where when they should have been visible, hits not registering, full of hackers and cheaters, please don't bother with this game it's complete garbage. Also if you post any kind of criticism in the forums they just delete it and if you persist they delete your account.

    Don't think for a second I forgot about the whole microtransactions debacle Gaijin. The greedy developers ruined the economy and charged too much for repair costs in a pathetic attempt to get players to buy MTX. I've deleted it back in early June, but I've decided to give it another chance after the developers claimed they will be improving the economy. The game overall is just about money. On tier 1, at BR 1.3 you still can get uptiered and have to face one of the most BS creation of gaijin "B1-ter".

    Played since 2013 and the game used to be fun until arround mid 2015. Then it just went downhill. **** up of plane hit registry, insane grind, adding stuff instead of fixing it. Not recommended, stay away from this.

    I used to love this game,, great graphics and realistic aircraft and good dog fights.. but some how its become a game called Pilot knocked out coz thats all that happens,, its like a game with a constant bug. Game play is ruined by unrealistic kills and you spend most of the time just trying to fly to the enemy. Pointless. was once a good game and now belongs in the dustbin of annoyance.

    Have you ever played a game and wished you could be spawn camped even more, and from across the map? Do you enjoy playing games that are massively unbalanced? Does supporting a game where the devs dont give two craps about fixing long standing problems that drive away new and old users alike appeal to you? If so, this is definitely right up your alley.

    **** game, u can't tell me with a straight face that churchill can survive a shot of kv2 in the face turret in less that 100 meter, never give ur money to this ****ty developer **** trash and gaijin like we will give u 1 good match where u able to kill 4+ enemy then give 4+ ****ty match where i die even before notice what happening

    One of the cornerstones of War Thunder is that player’s skill is more important than his wallet. Premium vehicles offer no combat advantages, there is no “microtransaction-only” ammo or consumables, so no amount of cash will buy you a spot on the top of the food chain. [Issue#216, p.56]

    The official launch of War Thunder reminded me why I like this game so much. It's adorably chaotic - in contrast to the reliably designed World of Tanks. That's why it can be really fun and frustrating at the same time. There's tons of great vehicles (and the planes are superb!) and a difficult simulation mode, but there are also balance and technical issues.
