    The game has taken what was good about CSGO, left out what was bad, and built on top of the good to create a refreshing new look at the tac-shooter genre. It is an absolute pleasure to play. I haven't been this excited for a game since Halo 2 way back in the day. Keep up the great work, Riot Games!

    The game have very good at competitive aspect rather than the other game for first person shooter because you can followed up what is happening in the game, other game just you cant followed up what is really happening that is bad for competitive match up and people who are watching. I played The Beta and i have fun 24hrs playing i have fun win or lose i have fun, i experience people who cheated that time i played the anti cheat is working rather than other game that their anti cheat is useless that you make your self that this game is full respond and good anti-cheat software. then people respond the anti cheat of valorant have something like that, something like this! they are the people who are cheating that they cheat is not working or who are creating the cheat system, The other people who have files i can say that you make put your files in the external software or a file drive the cost it is not the problem if you have something you want to hide rather than complaining anti cheat. Come on People! think wisely complaining is not the solution action is the best way for all of it.

    good , totally good even little bit Childish but it is not a problem after all, the skins are awesome totally worth it (why it is good, it may boost your game experience and confidence by the skin) even the CSGO You spent a skin for your gun it is not worth it even they re skin or change the cotlor it still not worth it you spent hundred bucks for a skin, it still not worth it. people who spent to the knife (re skin or color change) still not very worth it. Valorant the skin are worth it have animation because it is a game not a real life weapon, that is 10/10 i love the people (developer) who work the skin! are very talented and catchy for the eye and costumer(player) who want have want good gifts for they life!.     Overwatch meets CS. Except it’s better than both due to a focus on gameplay, tight map design, and a balanced ability/gun economy. Bravo!

    Best game I've played in years. I am an avid CS GO player with a background in OW as well and find this to be the most enjoyable and hooking game I've played in my entire life. The game has room to improve, with the addition of maps and agents, but I have no doubt those are coming. For now it is a great game that makes you want to grind and improve.     feels great the gun play is awesome. This fps is very unique with its abilities and the map design the fact you use your abilities as utilities and not as something to kill in my opinion improves skill cap you need to think more than other fps games.

    Just seems to take all the good things from CS:GO and spice it up a little bit, I've been spamming the game ever since I got the beta access. One thing I do have to note is the limited map pool, can't wait for more new maps.     The best FPS I have ever played. I think PPL that are crying here cuz the dnt know how a good FPS should look like. It is a bit buggy but devs are doing great job fixing them as soon as it is possible and it just started so I think it is normal. And they are listening to advices not like some other FPS devs do.

    Valorant is a new take on the tactical shooter genre that Counter Strike spawned, it has a class system with at the moment of launch 11 characters called "Agents" which all have a very focused ability kit and an attitude that matches their gameplay, and although comparing it with Overwatch because of the class system is extremely shallow, comparing it with CS isn't, it's got the same main plant/defuse game mode and similar although differently balanced shooting mechanics, while in Counter Strike the recoils kick harder and have no randomness when standing still, in valorant they kick lighter and go a bit random horizontally when you spray for too long, making the gunplay reward better positioning and short burts of speed peeking at the right times instead of just rewarding muscle memory/pure recoil control. Overall it's a really deep game with an absurdly high skill ceiling and great opportunity for both showing off your individual skill and destroying with pure teamplay.

    For pros and cons:
    Pros;
    -VERY tight and satisfying gunplay
    -Very diverse weapon arsenal, every single weapon has it's own place and situation except for maybe the Bulldog which is a midrange weapon with less than satisfying headshot damage, there's no "X weapon is just like Y weapon but better"
    -Although the numbers could use tuning, the agent kits themselves are well realized and have a really concise goal in mind as to what that agent's job is
    -The agents themelves are all cool looking, different and with personalities that fit their gameplay fantasy
    -The maps themselves are absolutely clean a completely devoid of any visual or physical clutter, from a competitive standpoint that's great
    -Riot Games has been very receptive to community feedback and has also communicated a lot back to the playerbase
    -Music is great, UI design is great, skins are on the expensive side but nothing crazy, also no gambling

    One con, but a REALLY big one, though it can be addressed with updates post-launch;
    -Map design for the beta maps is pretty bland, there's not much room for creative rotations and the spawn sites have been done very lazily probably because the walls pre-round exist, fighting on the bomb sites is fun though.
    Ascent (the new map) is way more of a step up, an all-round well designed map with multiple paths for rotations, but it feels a little small.
    Because of the compressed map design, a lot of the fights in most maps feel like they happen in close corridors, which can also make some Agent abilities feel overly punishing/frustrating due to how hard/easily they can hit you. And about frustrating gameplay, wall penetration has to be addressed because some wallbangs feel way too cheesy, you can shoot through most walls and also through corners if you get the angle right, and although that CAN be a nice skill expression tool, you can still get heavily damaged by players who are just spraying and praying at random walls, so wall penetration should be a great balancing priority due to the cheapness-sourced frustration it causes but the crazy gamesense showcases high level players will give if wall penetration is balanced in the future.

    An absolutely great game who's only problems can easily be solved with patches and Riot has shown that, at least with this game, they've been good at taking and answering community feedback in meaningful ways.    … Expand

    Valorant is a very good move forward from CS:GO, the bright color pallet and the simple yet intuitive graphics along with the solid gameplay makes it very addictive and fun to play.

    There is definitely room to grow and improve/balance the game but overall it's a very good game that everyone should play (If they are into hyper competitive and tactical shooters that is).

    I've been playing Valorant since closed beta start and i absolutely enjoyed it. Me and my friends have played almost every day and haven't met a single cheater of critical bug. I recommend it to you. It's free, so why not to try?

    My real score is 8.5/10.

    Valorant belongs to a group of e-sports known as tactical shooters, focusing on gunplay, tactics, economy and teamwork.
    It is fantastically compelling as a team experience, but is not reccomended if you have nobody else to play it with.
    The game is only going to get better as time goes on, and I'm sure that even with all this purile review bombing it will continue to grow and strengthen the entire tactical shooter genre of e-sports.    … Expand

    Valorant takes a lot of the great mechanics from CS and streamlines them. Simple changes to the game like hold to scope instead of the clunky CS mechanics, bunnyhopping that isn't just random, spraying mechanics being standardized across all weapons to remove the memorization aspect, showing your minimum money for next round, etc, etc all make the game so much more enojoyable to play without taking away anything from the skillcap. My favorite part about Valorant has to be the abilities, unlike CS, utility lineups are not an unnecessary barrier to entry. That's not to say there aren't any no big brain lineups you can use, there certainly are, they just aren't basically a requirement to play like CS. In CS I would avoid playing maps until I'd spent hours and hours in training practicing my utility lineups.

    In Valorant, if you want to smoke off a choke point it's as easy as clicking it on the map or controlling exactly where you want to place the smoke. This is so much better imo because it keeps all the skill of knowing when and where to use your utliity, but removes the huge barrier to entry of needing to memorize an insane number of precise lineups just to be able to use your utiliity where you want it from where you are. If you're a fan of tactical shooters, I would say Valorant is a must-play.

    The game is not without some issues, but throughout the beta the dev team has proven to me that they are committed to this game. It is so refreshing to see a dev team that actually responds to the community and constantly gives updates about what they are working on and their plans for the future rather than the PR crap we see from every AAA company nowadays. Right now there are some issues with the servers, likely because of the huge influx of players for release. However, I can say when the servers aren't overloaded, the game is smooth as can be with 128 tick servers and low ping from almost anywhere. Riot has made it clear that they are committed to optimizing their game through both server and local optimizations, so I have no doubt that they will fix any issues that arise.    … Expand

CS players also are not young as they used to be, and it could be difficult to assimilate all valorant feautures, as the popular streamer TimTheTatMan said there was too much things going on in the game he couldn't keep up with it. For a non CS player, this game is better for you than CS, being an 8hr CS player, that's my conclusion. Cs is all about camping and checking for corners or prefire, while Valorant is about thinking if Overwatch Hanzo has wasted all of his utility to enter site without being noticed. The game isn't perfect, but admit it, is and improvement from CS while not being CS, and that fact is what all this criticism is about. CS is a unique game, valorant takes CS formula and improves it to make it more dinamic and more interesting to watch. Go try it, i recommend the game 100%… Expand

    Excellent competitive FPS game. If you're burnt out on CS, it's a breath of fresh air. Beware of cheaters whining about Vanguard disingenuously.

    Though it's true that this game had issues during launch, the gameplay is amazing, graphics are excellent, and the overall concept is amazing. I am truly captivated by what the developers have created and I look forward to playing this game for a long time to come.

    The only 2 things I see wrong with the game are the cosmetic prices, and the Vanguard anti cheat.
    $70 for a set of skins is crazy, I agree. But you can simply not buy them, they are not required to play the game. One thing that is required though is Vanguard Anti-Cheat. It runs before windows does,    I see way too many 0 score reviews, and all of them don't make too much sense to me.

    The graphics is one of the biggest topics I've seen. They are low quality because this game is meant to run at 30 fps on a computer from 10 years ago, and honestly, they aren't awful. The game is meant to be competitive, so high frame rates are a must.

It’s a great game refreshing, with some amazing gun play. Overwatch was too ultimate reliant and Csgo had to many hackers.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is the perfect COMPETITIVE first-person shooter. This game was targetted to be an esport title and it is designed that way. This means you should not expect the casual crappy no skill gameplay you would find in cod, battlefield, or any console game. This is not a movement-based game like quake, fortnite, or TF2. This game is designed to be heavy on GUNPLAY and UTILITY USAGE. As an avid player of Counterstrike:Global Offensive, a Faceit level 7 and Global Elite Matchmaking rank, I believe that VALORANT improves on every aspect that CSGO was lacking. It kept the same fundamental high skill gunplay mechanics yet it got rid of the boring tactics as of the limited utility usage. CSGO has only 4 pieces of useful utility and that results in very two dimentional and repetitive games where aim and execution of fixed tactics is the main factor on whether you win or lose. VALORANT has many agents, each with 4 pieces of unique utility. This will ensure that the meta is always evolving and gameplay is always fresh. And a bonus for higher elo players, the basic servers are 128 tick servers resulting in amazing responsiveness. Just a reminder that this is an esports title. Those looking for good graphics, rng based gunplay such as battlefield or fortnite, a toxic environment full of dropshotting 12 year olds do not have a place in this game. If you are on metacritic and writing a negative review on a esport title not having graphics on par with Witcher 3, get lost… Expand

    I don't even play valorant but i hate review bombings so im giving a 10, because in reality for what i saw and what my friends tell me, its a really nice game, not a ripoff of CSGO, it has new fun mechanics. the only problem is the balancing, but the game has 3 days, just give it time.

    Gunplay is satisfying, however, hitreg issues make the game somewhat unplayable.
    Anticheat decreases the performance of other games but can easily be disabled. You will,however, need to restart your PC to play Valorant again. Best part is that it works. If a cheater is detected the match gets canceled and the cheater is hardware banned.
    If not for the hitreg issues and rare fps drops, I'd give this game a 10. It is worth playing if you enjoyed CS or Overwatch.    … Expand

    With a couple hundred hours in csgo and knowing the active developers that Riot are, I dove into this game and was pleasantly surprised, although the movement is rather slow, it’s what I enjoyed as a part of csgo. Or the buy zone being time based not zone based, or the ability to sell weapons when you buy the wrong thing or buy up before your team decides to eco. How about the fact that your unused skills carry to the next round regardless of if you died. All of these are welcomed improvements that I feel Riot have put decent thought into what people struggled with in other games.

    The way this game is getting bashed you would think people payed money for it... complaining about petty things like the simplicity of the chosen art style, meanwhile these same people probably turn their graphics down to the lowest settings to get a competitive edge on games where it removes things like grass/bushes and debris.    … Expand

    The reviews has bee harsh on this game and i dont see the reason. It is fun to play once you get used to the mechanics of the game, as its not as fast-paced as CoD or Apex. It is obviously inspired by CS:GO, but because of the different characters and their powers, it feels fresh.

You get to buy weapons per game, and if you are going well, you will be able to buy more abilities. Whatever you do, there is no ability better than a good and clear line of sight, Also, map allows a 'guess game' on the whereabouts of the enemy and sound tips/stealthWell, not an amazing game, but surely rigid in it's concept. You died. nice. better next time. learn not to COD. iii) also no more brainless jumping around like a gnat. It doesnt mean that valorant is a sim, but you get the idea.

    All and all, not a solid 10, but an 7-8 just because it is fun but not addictive. and it is in between in many respects. It does not excel in any field but not a crap either. Be careful, mediocre score of this game is because haters that expected something else gave it a zero. Give it a try.     Riot Games out-does Blizzard and Valve after just 1 year of VALORANT being available publicly.
    Best shooter that exists to date. Easy to learn and dangerously addictive.

The animations are satisfying, graphics and design beautiful. It is recently out of BETA as of early Juneish and I will say there are still some bugs here and there albeit minor for the most part.     Great game, definitely a big CS:GO rival. The only issues are : weird matchmaking, a lot of AFK's and no option for bot player like in CS and no rankeds so far and a lot of trolls due to that. Otherwise game is great, did everything CS:GO should have done few years ago and I hope they will keep working on the game to beat CS:GO in the final :)

    The game is amazing, it brings me back to the good ol' CS1.6 Days. Guns are snappy, characters are easy to see and the community has been great so far. Don't believe in the fake negative reviews. CSGO and Overwatch players are worried because the new kid on the block is about to steal their thunder.

    Even though people are devided about the graphics I love them. The game is a lot like csgo but at the same time not at all. Its way easier and more forgiving.

    Although the game is not perfect, it's a free game that's fun to play with friends, it's main focus is teamwork, strategy, economy, and good old FPS shooting. I would recommend this game to anyone from a brand new player to an experienced vet!

The new agent Reyna rewards an aggressive playstyle and suits fast paced combat allowing you to take any fight a not get traded by going invulnerable for a few seconds but with a passive playstyle like so many player seem to feel is necessary her kit becomes fairly useless. Tactical play Is a corner stone of a competitive game but when you add in randomness such as moving innaccuracy no matter what you do it's possible to win. My only downsides so far are the lack of spray patterns meaning players can't master the recoil allowing for what are some of my favourite plays possible in FPS games, spray patterns would be extra welcome when shooting with a combat stim do you can actually spray effectively at range with some situations actually making it harder to kill enemies particularly with Reyna's ult at longer ranges. As well as this there is a lack of ffa/aim training meaning new players will find it harder to Improve and veteran players can't master the game at the same level. I'm focusing purely on gameplay in this review as the skins are definitely overpriced and feel chunky/off (except the reaver collection that was done right!)… Expand

    Most people complain about this game not being what they want it to be, instead of judging the game for what it is. For instance, some people complain about the fact that Valorant is taking features and ideas from both CSGO & Overwatch, without "adding something new to the table". I think this is a horrible reason to give a game 0/10 since many great games take ideas from previous games and make something unique out of it. It is in my opinion that a game can be excellent without innovating the video game industry and Valorant is a good example of this.

    GAMEPLAY:
    I enjoy the fact that the modes available at launch respect the players time. There is the regular, more competitive mode as well as a shorter mode for when you don't have much time ahead of you. For those of you who don't know by know, Valorant's gameplay is a fusion between CSGO tactical shooter and Overwatch abilities. Overall, the game is closer to CSGO because of the mode, guns, economy, etc. Also, the abilities in Valorant are, in general, support abilities only (with a few exceptions). The gunplay feels snappy and responsive and each gun offers a different experience in terms of recoil, spread, sound, reload animation. It's great, maybe above-average, but not revolutionary.

    GRAPHICS:
    This aspect of the game is one where low score reviews have a good point. The graphics of the game are nothing to be impressed by 2020's standards. I understand that Riot Games prioritized performance, ease of access and optimization over graphic fidelity, and who knows, maybe it will affect their bottom line positively since even people with low-end PC's can play the game, but at the end of the day, if these outdated graphics push you away, I wouldn't blame you.

    LORE:
    Knowing Riot Games, I expect them to expand on the lore over time. So far, they did a great job at providing a wide variety of agents and they all feel distinct. I'm not someone who absolutely needs "representation" in a video game, but the way they have been introducing the characters so far feels very organic and I can appreciate that.

    SOUNDS:
    Nothing much to mention here. The main theme feels modern, not too discrete but not too busy either. The gun sounds feel appropiate, but again, nothing revolutionary here.

    CONNECTIVITY:
    I did not encounter any connectivity or ping issue so far. It is worth noting that I'm happy about this because it is not rare to see new games with hiccups.

    SKINS AND OTHER BUYABLE STUFF:
    I think Riot Games needs to work, or keep working, on providing skins and content that will appeal to a wide variety of players, not only the players that are rich. I understand that lots of work go into creating unique guns and cosmetics, but at the end of the day, if Riot Games monetization only depends on the 1% "whales" (ultra-rich players with addiction), the vast majority of the players will be unhappy with the costs.    … Expand

    I really enjoy the game and the subtle details they put into it, for example, the parkour addition to the training map was unexpected but welcoming. Servers are stable and I haven't had issues in the 30+ games I've played so far. All and all I love it. Skins to overpriced thou.

    The game is really a fresh new take on the tactical fps genre. The weapon are solid and the characters are well designed, maps are ok and the game turns out to be really addicting. The only concern is about Vanguard which should not be running 24/7 as you boot up your pc but only when the game launches.

    To my surprise, a very fun game that most of the time feels smooth and engaging! Manages to bring something fresh even for people like me who didn't enjoy CS :) I love that the game runs well in older PCs.
    The launch had some problems and there is a certain feel of "unfinished" in it. However, I trust and expect this game to grow up to be better!

The only negatives for me is the vanguard anti cheat which apparently does stuff to your PC but to be honest i don't really care. 9/10 very fun to play with friends and overall a refreshing experience.     Valve has ignored it's community for far too long. It took them getting smashed on twitch to start getting their stuff together but it's an ignored community too late.     The only feature holding the game back from being a 10 for me is the monetization. The game features a Battle Pass based on XP earned in game and an in-game shop. The Battle Pass is a great value with varied and frequent rewards for only $10. The shop features a weekly featured skin collection and 4 daily rotating offers. The guns themselves are a bit on the expensive side, but this becomes brutally apparent with the collections. As of writing, the Prime collection the game launched with is around $70. There are freebies in the bundle, but each gun is around $10-$20 and the knives were anywhere between $20-$35. Fixing the shop would make this game a 10/10 for me.    … Expand

    Honestly I love the game! It's a fun game especially with a few friends! It just released so there are a few bugs that the dev team are working on but honestly they have had great communication and transparency through everything! I had some audio issues so I emailed support and they responded the next day and my issue got fixed. Gameplay is great! If you're unsure give it a shot! I cannotHonestly I love the game!     10 конечно завышено, но это только потому что игру незаслуженно задаунрейтили. ЕЕ плюсы это:
    -Игра выпущена компанией Riot Games. (Эти "черти" умеют делать годноту и слушать пользователей)
    -Низкий порог вхождения и фру ту плей. (достаточно посмотреть 7 минутное видео на ютубе с обзором скиллов персонажей и сыграть по 2 раза на каждой карте, а стрельба практически идентична CS:GO)    10 конечно завышено, но это только потому что игру незаслуженно задаунрейтили. ЕЕ плюсы это:

    -Нет ограничения скилл лвла, т.е. тебе не достаточно просто хорошо стрелять, нужно комбинировать это с умениями персонажа.
    Главный минус:
    "Мало контента"
    - 4 карты, которые даже выбрать нельзя, иногда 6 раз на одной и той же играешь.
    - Нет death match серверов и т.п.
    - Дисбаланс в подборе рейтинговых игр, мне в бронзу закидывало платину, и не раз.
    - Есть технические недоработки, у кого с пингом проблемы, у кого-то с антивирусом, у кого-то фпс проседает, но поддержка всегда пытается помочь,если возникают такие проблемы.
    ВЕРДИКТ: Игра на твердую семерку, все минусы я уверен будут пофикшены в будущем , но для ФРИ ТУ ПЛЕЙ, напоминаю ФРИ ТУ ПЛЕЙ проекта, очень годно даже сейчас.    … Expand

    The game is pretty great, it has some balancing issues but those will be fixed with time as the game evolves and more characters are added. The maps are okay for the most part they are'nt groundbreaking by any means but they all work and are playable however the map Haven was an awful idea, fun on attack but its a slog on defense. The gun play is rock solid and the weapon sound effects are great IMO. what most definitely needs work is directional audio as telling where an enemy is can be difficult at times because often times they sound closer than they actually are or worse yet they sound like they're on the opposite side of where they really are. i have faith in Riot to fix the sound issues as during the beta they were really quick to fix many major issues so im not too worried about the sound staying busted for very long. all in all the game is great, fun to play and its free so why not give it a try ?… Expand

    Yes, Valorant has a few issues, but it is actually an amazing game. Most of the issues in my opinion is mainly because of how new it is. Most of the haters on here are mainly toxic and are trying to ruin this game. I say the best advice is to just download the game and try it yourself, since it is free.

I am not a csgo player, nor am i good at shooters in general, but i can appreciate the game for what it is and continue to play for a long time.     Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

    Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
