    If cs:go is a good game, why the "clone" of it is a bad game? You don't know right. You can easily stop anti-cheat by clicking on the tray icon. You say there is some spyware in it, so why don't you tell riot about it, and receive ~100k$? Yes they pay for it, go find a bug or a rootkit, as you say you know it is there, and get a good amount of dollars. Animations?     I see bunch of CS:GO fanboys being hurted that their bad game is in shadow of this. Thanks for Valorant, Riot and Epic for killing Valve and their **** games like cs:go and dota, HAIL VALORANT

    Maybe she might seem mediocre at the first meeting, but if you just go a little deeper into her mechanics and she starts to like! This game has a lot of potential! Riot's please add to Valorant Battle Royal, this game is just made for him! Yes, so far there are few maps and modes, but not all at once.     Fantastic gameplay taking the best out CS and hero shooter genre. Graphics are minimalistic on purpose and design is great, consistent and well-thought. The only downsides are some technical issues and horrendous store prices.

    While I'm not of the opinion that it is a perfect game, I think it takes elements from other games and blends them together in a fairly cohesive manner.
    The style of the game is simple and nice to look at, easily contrasting every character against backgrounds, and the style of the UI is incredible compared to others like CS:GO and Apex.

    I played during the beta and with the new quick-paced mode; Spike Rush, New agent and New awesome looking map, I think this is a very strong launch from Riot!
    Once some of the bugs to do with the Battle Pass-esque rewards system have been ironed out this will be a great game that will continue to keep me playing.    … Expand

    First and foremost, most of the reviews here are from people who didn't play the game, or only played a few hours. Most of the opinions in these reviews are the same opinions people were saying ever since the first trailer for this game came out.

    It isn't a CSGO or Overwatch clone. If you go into the game thinking it is, you'll either be disappointed, or upset, like many of the users in    First and foremost, most of the reviews here are from people who didn't play the game, or only played a few hours.     I only have a few complaints of the game, being why this is an 8 and not a 10.

    The biggest, and most problematic for me, is the maps. The maps are all varying levels of garbage. Which was a bit of shock given they have such a talented CSGO map maker on the team. Many of the maps are laid out like how someone designing their first map would create them. The only difference is they have professional skins and graphics applied to that crappy map design. Amplifying this issue, you can't choose which map(s) you want to play. It's completely random what map you end up playing. I've had so many times where I'm forced to play the same map 3-5 times in a row, with one unlucky streak where I played the ropes map 7 times in a row in the same day. Giving me the ability to choose which trash I want to play on would help out a ton with keeping me playing for longer per session.

    Other major issue is how early they released it. Some champions definitely still need a bit more balancing done, and there are still some bugs from the beta that haven't been addressed. I think the game would've benefited a good bit from the beta lasting another month or two while the dev team finishes working out bugs.

    That being said, that isn't too big of an issue. The dev team has proven that they care about the game, and are doing their best to quickly roll out patches and fix as many things as possible. They listen to the community, interact with players in comment sections and Reddit, and seem to truly care about improving the game and listening to community feedback. This is something that seems to have become extremely rare in the gaming community from large studios.

    As for everything I love about this game:
    The visuals and sounds are amazing. After 10+ years of playing almost exclusively CS, it's nice having something so Vibrant and loud. When the beta ended, I went back and tried to play CS. While I still had a good time, everything just felt empty. The map was quiet. The maps all looked monochromatic and stale. Gameplay felt very slow. Valorant excels here, where the game is actually interesting to look at. Things are bright and colorful, while enemies are still easy to see and standout against their surroundings. The sounds when getting kills is also a crazy adrenaline boost. Hearing the progressively louder and more intense sounds as you get a 2k, then 3k, then 4k, climaxing at the ace is one of the greatest feelings. This game does a great job of hyping you up and making you feel good when you're doing good.

    The weapons are also all generally great. This is one of the few games of it's kind where I actually see every weapon get used. Every weapon has it's own place in the game, with various use cases depending on the map and your playstyle.

    Champion abilities are also a huge plus for me. They're simple enough where a new player can hop in and quickly learn how to use some useful utility for their team, but have enough complexity where their use gets greatly improved as you learn how to better use them. Later on in the game, you start to learn how to combo abilities, whether with your own abilities, or with teammates' abilities. Learning and executing these combos is always an amazing experience that makes you feel like you've actually achieved something.

    Pacing is also amazing, where you can either play very slow like you would in a game like CS, or you can play at hyperspeed, zooming into sites, flying over walls and around corners, shooting off abilities and killing enemies along the way.

    To top things off, all microtransations are purely cosmetic, and there's no RNG/loot crate portion of them. If you want a skin or collection of skins, you can purchase exactly that, and know what you're getting. People who don't want to spend money can grind out any of the various free champion skins. The battle pass is also a pretty great addition. It's relatively cheap, and gets you more than your money's worth very early into the pass.

    Overall, I think the game is something new and unique, and I've had a great time playing and watching it. The game is competitive enough with a good skill ceiling that you can enjoy and be impressed watching professional gamers play it, while also having simple enough base mechanics and enough fun stuff implemented that you can have a good time watching lower skill people just messing around and having fun.

    This game is incredible. Amazing gunplay with unique agents. The main reason people are leaving negative reviews is because Valorant is the final nail in the coffin for CSGO. Try it before you knock it.

    I played a bit in the beta and a bit since launch. Honestly I don't understand all the hate this game is getting. It's pretty fun honestly. It's a little rough around the edges and maybe has some overpriced skins but it's free so idk. I can't help the feeling that this game is getting a little bit of the fortnight treatment.     I had a blast when I played the game yesterday, awesome characters, fantastic gunplay, the maps are meh, but I still enjoy them, the new map is awesome and that shows that riot heard the complaints from the beta.

    Sadly, this great game gets review bombed because some kid who likes counter strike don't want this game to succeed. But believe me, it will. IS A FKING FREE TO PLAY GAME , enjoy it ,for a veteran csgo player i like this game more then cs , and i'm playing it for 12+ years now.

    Great competetive shooter. Requires a lot of practice to master but easy enough to get an understaning of at a surface level if you are well versed similar fps games. Shooting is the core skill but the abilities helps you set it up and makes the game more varied and simply just more fun.

    Riot is doing good work about that game. It's another fps with planting bomb, but it's unique. Every character has different abilities and each isn't useless. Everyone will find his main character. I like how this game has been made. Everyone is saying it's like CS:GO but it isn't. Optimization is kinda not good, while playing I got some lags and sometimes map wouldn't load up and of course 'Vanguard'. I got like two problems about anty-cheat. First sometimes game couldn't find Vanguard even it was working. Second sometimes it wouldn't launch with PC. Summarizing: I had really fun while playing and I recommend for everyone… Expand

    People that are rating this game poorly are people who one have never played an FPS game and two people who are against the anti-cheat. The anti-cheat system is intrusive but it is the only way to stop cheaters, i don't think i've ever seen a single cheater in the Closed Beta and so far into ranked. The people giving bad reviews are just blindly jumping on the hype playing one game and after getting destroyed in the game are giving it bad reviews without even taking the time and learning the game. I also believe the game was built for competitive fps player to be the next esport, AND NOT A FORTNITE KILLER I see people from the fortnite community talking badly about the game. Just cuz a game doesn't suite you mean that its terrible, Just give the game a chance and learn it before flooding it with bad reviews.… Expand

But your KDA isn't the only display of your team participation unlike CS.

    I despise CS for it's clarity, the game isn't so much a challenge for aiming, it's a challenge to spot a beige colored enemy against a beige colored wall, it's just not happening. Both Overwatch and now Valorant solve this issue, I've been incredibly impressed with how well you can determine characters even at a glance despite having the same hit box and inherently similar silhouettes, unlike Overwatch.

    The game feels balanced, I haven't encountered an ability that I felt unfair although some are better then others people tend to make up for with unique use cases. Maps are pretty bland and feels cluttered with many corners, but I've enjoyed every single one, and they all have a little twist to it that's always enjoyable. Although a see a lot of people hating the visuals I absolutely adore them and the performance is like nothing I've ever seen.

    This is more personal and probably only because I've been lucky but all of my teammates and enemy's, no matter if they perform well or not, have been super nice and supportive of everyone. Having played both League and CS I can say that the toxic players really ruin the experience for me and I just can't get into it. Here I actually feel safe and I know that sounds kinda odd but its true. Even if it's only temporary and my luck suddenly changes, I've never played a game with such lovely and funny people. I hope it remains like that, though I have already seen some horrific behavior from videos and images online.

    Valorant is a perfect mix of Overwatch team play and clarity, with CS:GO's skill based gun play. Exactly what I had wished for years from the competitive FPS genre.    … Expand

    Great game overall. Very good communication with developers that listen to the community. Graphics are cartoony, but are very well done and the game runs on low spec computers.

A lot of the ops are definitely unbalanced (sage) which i assume will be corrected in the coming patches. they made it a bit more casual, if not semi-competitive which is a pro coming from someone who was **** at other competitive 5v5s (Siege, CSGO). The gun play in general is fun and decently easy, although I don't like the RNG that comes with spraying.I definitely like this game a lot. The semi-cartoonish nature of the maps sort of helps make it more interesting, speaking as though it opens up more non-realistic opportunities for mappers, such as Bind's teleporting. Haven switches up the competitive formula by introducing a third site that, contrary to the opinion of many 5v5 veterans, is not difficult to hold with a single semi-experienced player. The rest of the maps (Ascent, Split) are sort of the regular, refined 5v5 formula.

    You can't judge this game until you've played it. I've never played any shooter except Fortnite (I know, I know), but when I unlocked beta in the second week of release, I gave it a shot. I was instantly hooked. It's soo amazing. I didn't even want to like this game, but I couldn't help myself. This rating right now can easily be proven as biased, because a game like this can in no way be reasonably given a review under 3 (and that's not even an opinion, that's statistically undeniable), and most of the people leaving awful reviews either never played the game and don't understand the game (because it's really a game you have to play to understand it's awesomeness) or are freaks about their PC's and hate the anticheat. If it isn't one of those two things, then they're just over-exaggerating the bug issue - by the way, I've never encountered any bugs whatsoever besides a Cypher cam glitch ONCE - which is ridiculous seeing as the game was in BETA where bugs are *meant to be found, tested, and fixed* up until like two days ago. *Please* give this game a shot if it seems even a little bit interesting to you, as I believe literally anyone could really enjoy it.     I tried CSGO. Was very fun in a 5 Stack but as soon as I played alone I got very frustrated. Felt way too hard to learn and the UI/Buymenue is **** and outdated.
    I tried Rainbow6Siege . Was fun. But learning all the maps didnt feel great.
    Then I tuned in Valorant. I really enjoy it. It runs smoothly and it is soooo easy to learn for a beginner like me. Straight forward abilities without    I tried CSGO. Was very fun in a 5 Stack but as soon as I played alone I got very frustrated. Felt way too hard to learn and the UI/Buymenue is **** and outdated.

Я пока не понимаю как можно играть в тактический шутер без войс чата, это очень неудобно. Карты маленькие и не очень интересные. С античитом тоже есть проблемы.     I think this is a good game, of course it's just released and here not so many content, but gameplay is still interesting. Character desing is grate, maps is not bad, my only claim is Sova's ultra ability, cause it's almost always useless. I think we just need to give time for this game for making more content

There is a bit of a sour taste for people who may be struggling to grasp the game mechanics but I can already tell you that the creativity in play-making has been a lot of fun and very exciting thus far. I have been playing since day one and have had little issues with the servers and have purchased the battle pass without issue as well. I tend to start my sessions off with a few rounds in the shooting range on medium/hard difficulty to warm up which I find to be a really awesome under-rated feature for getting reactions primed for game play. Overall it's got huge potential, after all, it is one of the largest publishers in the industry.… Expand

    Some people think this game is just a rip off of csgo. I think that is completely untrue, and is just something for people who want a more ability based game. I think the skins are great, for a reasonable price, and the game is free to start off, as well as having unique graphics, and great gunplay. 10/10

    Incredible game, CS made easy to start playing and free to play with good monetization (the battle pass is good value/money everything else id for whales but it´s totally ok). They still have to improve in the number of maps and optimization to live up to the high expectations that they set for themselves, but is has made a lot of progress in short time since Beta!

    This is the worst fps game for year 2020. It is just a copypaste from Overwatch and CSGO. In theory you can play this game, but it provides nothing. Graphics in this game is bad even for 2012. I played in this **** for 20 hours in beta, and in release nothing changed. Good luck.

This is a game that was designed with competitive integrity at it's core, and that design philosophy shows. The graphics, while not great, make everything you are looking at easy to understand. Though it might feel a little unpolished, keep in mind that this game just got out of beta and kinda got out of beta earlier then expected (they were supposed to release it in the middle of summer so this was really early).

    Brilliant game。After spending over 600 hours in CSGO and 500+ hours in Overwatch, I can recommend this title. Riot games has done an outstanding job by adding the competitive aspect of CSGO with the utility abilities from Overwatch and other similar games. 10/10

I really enjoy that, coming from a person who played overwatch since season 1, that game lasted a long time but the dev did not listen to their community. I like that they add animation to their guns and when you get kills it creates a more satisfying feeling than just having the skin on your gun. This game is still a new born baby, the devs are continuously looking at our feed back and making changes. I know they will continue to listen to us and try their best to make us happy.     Dont be fooled by the amount of zeroes on this page. Some are salty that people have an alternative to CS:GO. Others are salty that they got banned by the anti-cheat. This game launched yesterday and will continue to get major updates as time goes on as Riot has been shown to support their games

    I truly Love Valorant! The clips I've had saved in Medal are wonderful pieces of memories, looking forward to adding more to it. Here are some notes though.
    The graphics would be appreciated if it were to be improved by quite a lot and adding environment interaction (Overwatch has beautiful environment interaction and also make it a little more fun in pre-rounds). One of the frustrating parts of the game currently is matchmaking, with a clear lack of players that can play together as a team, but that's in part to the game just having been released and new players not understanding maps, characters, gun mechanics, etc. This will get better with time.

    Super solid servers and FPS gunplay is top tier abilities are pretty balanced. Played over a hundred hours in beta and the changes they made to split plus the new map and mode are great. Definitely gonna be my new main game for a very long time

    The concept of gameplay is far from new, but Valorant can definitely revive this genre again. I would also like to say about the interface. It's not perfect. It has problems with readability and intuitiveness. Over time, you begin to understand it and it becomes very understandable and intuitive, but for beginners, both in this game and in games in general, it will be very difficult to understand it. For me Valorant is seen as long-lived, because I knows Riot games they will be engaged in the development of both the game itself and the things associated with it.

    Pretty fun game, great for improving your aim. The game in patch 1.0 has some minor bugs but nothing that affects gameplay that much.

    Gameplay: 9/10
    Art style: 8/10 Skins: 9.5/10
    Maps: 9/10 (new map is so good)

    I think the game is very good, just a few maps that need some changes, but that don't make the game bad, I came from lol and CS and I didn't think it was slow, unlike some who think the game is slow, will be very successful and especially in e-sports, I loved 10/10

    128 tick servers and decent hit registration ,much lower ping for uk players.
    They basically fixed all the QOL problem's that i got sick of after 1000's of hours on csgo. Most of the bad reviews are from hardware banned cheaters or salty csgo players.     Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

    Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
