A miniature work of art, full of radiant colors. A pixel perfect animated film. Unbelievably well polished. A candidate for the biggest surprise of the year. [03/2019, p.74]

Overall, Unruly Heroes is a blast to play! I enjoyed learning each characters' abilities despite tending to stick to one play style in games that let me switch. Being able to switch characters on the fly is the perfect way to coax players like myself into experiencing fully what Unruly Heroes has to offer, and I'm glad that I did. The game always surprises and makes exploring super enjoyable, but with a bit of a stronger story element I think it would have been tied together just a little better.

Unruly Heroes closely follows the trail left by the latest Rayman, creating a very original action platformer, which is characterized above all by keeping its mechanics fresh along all levels, with a very eye-catching visual design and care. Perfect for four players in local, but also for a single player experience.

Unruly Heroes, despite having some unfair moments in its second half, is a game made by skillful people, featuring lavish content, gorgeous, bustling sceneries and diverse gameplay that keeps things from getting stale.

Unruly Heroes is not a long game (8 hours), but it's tense and quite entertaining. It challenges both your reflexes and your brain, but it will also amaze you with its graphics, music and animations. If you're a fan of the genre, Unruly Heroes is a title you don't want to miss.

Unruly Heroes fits well in the new wave of artistic 2D platform games led by Rayman and shines among them with a peculiar charme. It structure isn't quite well developed as its graphics, but it is undoubtedly a pleasure to play and watch.

Made by ex Rayman developer, Unruly Heroes is an excellent action/platform inspired by a classic novel like Journey to the West. A game that has been overlooked by many but that you definitely need to check out.

Visually pleasing and at its core a very decent co-op platform-action it lacks finishing touches.

The game may appear to be monotonous since heroes never learn new abilities – but as levels go, they find new applications for skills they already have, so Unruly Heroes never goes stale. [Issue#236, p.36]

Unruly Heroes features a mix of platforming and combat with four characters that you can switch between on the fly. With a handful of interesting bosses and plenty of mechanical variation between levels, the game never locks you into one style of play for too long. Ultimately, though, I didn’t find any part of it that much fun to play, which wasn’t helped by its leaden controls and uneven difficulty.

It's goodUnruly Heroes takes the characters from the "Voyage to the West" and puts them in a fun action platform with a fantastic art style. It's good overall, but there are some downsides. First, the art style is amazing but the animations have a certain "made with flash" vibe that I personally find extremely offputting. The controls are good, but coming from Hollow Knight they're not as thight and responsive and they kinda feel heavy and sluggish. Sometimes you feel like you don't have full control on what your character is doing. The platforming is decent and the characters have lots of personality and their different moves are cool, but fighting sometimes feels kind of random due to the controls.

The whole experience is a bit underwhelming and overall it's... just not that fun, I'm not even sure why, maybe it's due to the level design, but it's a shame.

The element of funny moments are the art-design and the dialag behind. After 9 hours gaming my adventure ended l suggest people play this game not only for the co-op but for the gameplay.

Overall, The game graphics looks nice and the traps and puzzles just really interesting but the only reason give game 8 score is the pvp l cannot say much for it but is like pressing one button because cover more of the area + you cannot use the traps properly.

Es una aventura con escenarios bastantes contenidos, pero con varias horas en total.

Si bien, no desarrolla demasiado la rejugabilidad o el apartado multiplayer, la historia y la manera de contarla hacen que valga la pena en muchos aspectos.
