    One of the most overrated games of its time. I didn't understand why it was loved then and I don't understand why it's loved now. Even if I have nothing else to do in life, it's not a game I'll spend time with. It might make a good animated movie, but it's not worth playing as a game.

    Undertale est probablement le meilleur jeu indé à ce jour, les graphismes peuvent être qualifié de moche mais je trouve personnellement que cela donne un style propre au jeu lui donnant une identité dont la plupart des AAA sont dépourvus et le jeu possède les meilleurs OST qu'on puisse trouver dans un jeu vidéo. L'histoire et rapidement prenante et touchante remplie de personnagesUndertale est probablement le meilleur jeu indé à ce jour, les graphismes peuvent être qualifié de moche mais je trouve personnellement que cela donne un style propre au jeu lui donnant une identité dont la plupart des AAA sont dépourvus et le jeu possède les meilleurs OST qu'on puisse trouver dans un jeu vidéo. L'histoire et rapidement prenante et touchante remplie de personnages remarquables et le système de combat est très intéressant nous poussant même à culpabiliser sur nos actes. Le fait de pouvoir refaire le jeu avec différentes routes et juste génial et la multitude de secret et de lore dissimulé dans le jeu permet aux fans de théoriser dessus.     Undertale is a masterpiece among the modern RPG games. No other RPG has made me feel so many emotions while playing as undertale has.
    The music is of course also amazing, songs like "megalovania", "hopes and dream" and "death by glamour".

    ATMOSFER

    Eğlenceli karakterleri, yer yer güldüren diyalogları... Oynanış her boss savaşında değiştiğinden hiç sıkmıyor. Oyun müzikleri ile birlikte o kadar güzel bir atmosfer yaratıyor ki, bulunduğunuz ortamdaki herkes ile diyaloğa girmek istiyorsunuz. Her yazıyı okuyor, her karakter ile konuşuyorsunuz ve bu konuşmalar boş değil. Her karakter anlatacağı bir şey varsa konuşuyor yoksa kısa kesiyor. Yani oyun vaktinizi hiç çalmadan akıp gidiyor.

    MİZAHİ YANI

    Mizah anlayışı da oldukça iyi bence. Ben özelikle böyle 4.Duvarı yıkarak yapılan esprileri çok severim ve bu oyunda da bunlardan bolca var.

    OYNANIŞ VE BOSS SAVAŞLARI

    Oynanış mekanikleri her canavarın kendine has saldırıları olmasından dolayı hiç sıkmıyor ve asla kendinizi OP hissetmiyorsunuz. Hiçbir savaşı gözü kapalı kazanamıyorsunuz oyun sizi hep dinamik tutuyor. Boss savaşları da oldukça kaliteli. Her boss savaşı oyuna yeni bir mekanik eklediği için hem boss savaşları diğer savaşlardan ayrılıyor, hem de birbirlerinden ayrılıyorlar. Müziklerin kalitesinden bir kez daha bahsedeceğim çünkü her bir boss savaşını inanılmaz epic hale getiriyorlar.

    HİKAYE VE KARAKTERLER

    Tüm yazacaklarım oyunun iyi sonu için geçerlidir. Karakterlerin hepsi kendini sevdirten, samimi ve gerçekten karakter gibi hissettiren karakterler. Her biri sanki cidden yaşayan bir arkadaşınız gibi. Troll kavramına yeni bir boyut kazandırmış, 4.duvar diye bir kavramdan habersiz Sans. Yaptığı absürt şeyler ile sizi gülümsetmeyi başaran Papyrus. Kesinlikle karizmatik, en havalı aksiyon anlarının baş rolü Undyne, Anne sıcaklığı ile oyunun başında sizin elinizden tutan, yanında iken kendinizi güven ve huzur içinde hissettiren Toriel. Bilim adamı olmasına rağmen popüler kültür hayranı ve sahneleri ile beni en çok güldüren ikili Dr.Alphys ve Mettaton. Oyundaki en havalı boss savaşı müziğine sahip, en heybetli boss kral Asgore. Şerefsizlik diye bir kitap olsa kesinlikle imzalatmaya gideceğim, melek yüzlü şeytan tabirinin birebir karşılığı Flowey. Bunlar sadece ana karakterler yan karakterlerden bahsedersem bu yazı bitmez.

    SONUÇ

    Kesinlikle 18 Tl'nin çok üstünde bir içerik bolluğu ve kalitesi sunuyor Undertale. Bence bu tür ilginç, retro atmosfere sahip oyunlar ile hoşlaşıyor iseniz bir şans verin, pişman olmazsınız efendim.    … Expand

    2015 was an interesting year. So many games came out but this one was standing out. UNDERTALE was the Game of the Year, for me personally. The music, the graphics, the deep story in both POVs. This game right here changed so many lives, including myself.

    Toby Fox made a great game and some people may disagree with me on this one but UNDERTALE is one of the most iconic games of all time.

    Genial, apenas. Undertale possui uma história boa, lutas difíceis e emocionantes, uma das melhores trilhas sonoras da história dos videogames, e pra completar, finais que variam com a escolha do jogador que são muito bem pensados. Apesar dos gráficos fracos e duração curta, Undertale é com certeza uma ótima experiência.

    I really liked this game. I was filled with DETERMINATION while i was playing the game. The story was really good and it tells this story in a good way. Gameplay was mostly limited. To put it simply, In a small square you try to dodge the bullets. Puzzles were good and most of the time they were challenging. Characters were funny and memorable. They often made me laugh.     my favorite game, it's amazing.
    I've told some many friends of mine to play it, everyone, even the one's that never played a videogame, loved it.
    I really recommend playing it with friends, it's very fun to see their reactions and choices.

    Great story, fun characters, great mechanics, and a world with many fun puzzles and little secrets... The one problem I've had with the game is some of the tilemap art, but none of it got in my way of having a blast!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Definitely a good game, but does NOT deserve all the praise that it gets. I give it a solid 8/10 at best but most people I see treat it as a complete 10/10 masterpiece. Rather than going over the positive things about the game(as many people have done that already), I'm gonna list some faults that aren't mentioned very often.

    Problem 1: The Leveling System
    - Without delving into spoilers as best I can, in short, the game punishes you for wanting to get stronger. One of the most fun parts about RPGs is the progression; leveling up and getting more powerful as the game goes on as a result of your hard work. Undertale however doesn't want you to do that, implementing morals into this fundamental part of RPGs. While I think it's for sure a unique way to go about it, it definitely hinders the gameplay. One way I think this could've been avoided is if you could unlock new ACTs or something as you continue to defeat enemies using them. That brings me to my next point:

    Problem 2: ACTing
    - You can spare enemies in the game through utilizing the ACT button as an alternative way of defeating them. The game actively pushes you to use this method, but doesn't take advantage of it. Most acts are just as straightforward as simply attacking the enemy or are there for comedic purposes(some enemies don't even require you to use ACTs nor attack them to defeat them), with some exceptions(mettaton for example, you'll know once you play the game). You'd think you'd have to watch the enemy and judge their personality in order to find out what ACT will best diffuse the situation, but *most of the time* it comes down to just choosing the first one you see without much strategy put into it. That doesn't mean I don't think it's a great concept or unique idea; most of the game's charm comes from this system, I just believe it hasn't received enough criticism.

    Problem 3: The writing
    - This is subjective, but personally I found most of the writing to be too internet-savvy and generally just cringe in many places where the game is basically begging you to laugh. (ALPHYS AS A PRIME EXAMPLE). That or the game is shoving the "my friends are my power" cliche in your face(which the game is actually self-aware in considering Flowey). I think the general goofiness found around is welcomed, but not the comedic genius that people say it is. However to end on a positive note I do think the game does a good job at its emotional moments(ESPECIALLY with the peak OST) and especially with the plot-twists and hidden complexity behind the game's simplistic exterior.

    Overall, do I recommend it? Definitely. Although overhyped hence these problems, I think it's an experience you shouldn't pass up on.    … Expand

    I will say that this game convinced me to play Touhou, so I think it works as a good entry point for that and probably a lot more bullet hells. Anyway, back to Undertale, I will say while I don't think this is the masterpiece of writing or gameplay everyone says, it is a good minimalistic, charming, fun game, easy to come back and very replayable.

    Now this game is pretty epic, and I like it a lot. my only complaint is that I cannot kill Simon Cowell in the genocide route. Other than that it was a decent game.

    I've finished this game many times, I discovered something new every time I finish it, but I never had the courage to play the bad ending in these finishes, I don't dare, I get attached to the characters, even if I want evil, I can't, it has such a nice atmosphere that it cannot be explained

    I love Undertale. It is an amazing little indie game with a great story, and the characters are absolutely loveable. And the music. The music is amazing, probably the only game that doesn't have a song that isn't amazing. The combat is easy (most of the time) but the story is what you are supposed to focus anyway. Battles are fun little puzzles, finding out how to Spare an enemy withoutI love Undertale. It is an amazing little indie game with a great story, and the characters are absolutely loveable. And the music. The music is amazing, probably the only game that doesn't have a song that isn't amazing. The combat is easy (most of the time) but the story is what you are supposed to focus anyway. Battles are fun little puzzles, finding out how to Spare an enemy without fighting is very fun and many scenes are heartwarming.
    However, this game has some issues. The biggest one being, there is just too little. Undertale is amazing with amazing dialogue and characters, but you see so little of them. Undertale gives you a few characters you are supposed to love and you do love, gives them a decent amount of screentime and then when you move on to the next section they are just almost completly gone and get like 10 minutes of screen time for the rest of the game. This game could have been so much more if it actually used the important characters. instead it focuses on each one of them for a while, but then tosses them aside almost completely for the rest of the game.    … Expand

    Amazing characters but a bad community overall. Amazing game, one of the best stories. 3 different endings. The mercy mechanic is really great. Fighting system is really great and you must play this game immediately.

    Ein Revolutionäres Spiel. Schaut euch die Fan-Made Videos auf Youtube an - dann weiß man, was man hier geschaffen hat. Eine wahre Perle. Man muss sich nur verdammt gut in das Spiel hineinlesen und verstehen.

    i play video games for 30+ years now but i never played such an overhyped game. easily bottom 20.

    the game is half hearted designed, the art is horrible, the characters are depthless, the story is completely predictable and it is just a pain to play.
    the only pros are the music and the fresh combat design. but that doesn't save the game from being bad.

    don't get the hype...

    Undertale is my favorite game of all time, its an easy 10/10 for me but that was obvious, I'm here to talk about why this is the game that changed my life and showed me my new passion.
    I bought Undertale after I heard from a friend it was good, back then I didn't know much about the game but decided to buy it to experience a "good game" since back then all I played were small mobile games.
    To my absolute shock the game was very nicely presented right from the start, I played it and was Immediately hooked into it, fast forward a month later and I finished the game for the first time.
    Only in that moment I realized how much a good story and some loveable characters can put you through.
    Since then I did the pacifist route and that was the first and currently only time I ever cried at a video game, the feeling I felt when I saw the ending was so heartwarming and it when I felt it I knew that it is my favorite game.

    The game itself

    The game has a very nice earth-bound like art style and some very good yet simple sprites, you can tell what is a character's personality purely from 1 of its sprites, and the backgrounds are incredible.

    The music of this game is actually stunning! there are so many beautiful, relaxing, upbeat, exciting and action filled tracks! Toby fox did an incredible work with every single one!

    The story was the thing that brought it all together. The characters, the plot itself, the hilarious moments, the sadness, the love and the determination I felt going through the underground were indescribable. This game is worth playing purely for the story itself.

    if I didn't make it obvious, this game is a 10/10 I wish I could give it a higher number and I hope to make a very deep analysis video on this in the future but for now, go buy it.

    Un indie que tiene más que merecido su popularidad pues es un juego en el cual se nota el cariño que hay detrás pues cuenta con unos personajes maravillosos y una banda sonora deslumbrante. Toby Fox consiguió introducir personajes inclusivos mucho mejor que una empresa multimillonaria la cual no nombraré. (cof cof D*sney)

    Benim oynamışlık sürem 30-35 saat oynadım gezdim falan yan etkinlik yapıp 2 sonu yapınca bittiğinde beni gerçekten tatmin eden pixel bir oyundu karakterlerde gayet iyi yazılmış boş karakter yok dieyebilirm. Hemde gamepass+Steamde var ve ucuz aşırı ucuz bu kalitesine rağmen.

    With multiple endings based on how you choose to play out your run, set pieces that can play out very differently based on your actions and so many incredible moments that we’d love to share but daren’t do so for risk of spoiling anything, Undertale is easily one of the indie standouts of last year.

    Through a combination of often relaxed but sometimes tense gameplay, a dreamy atmosphere, and genuine characters that feel like they’re actually alive and all living together in this isolated society of longing, Undertale transcends its medium and becomes a genuinely moving experience I would recommend to anyone who is open to a sometimes sorrowful, sometimes hilarious, always bizarre and engaging emotional journey.
