    The game itself is quite fun and I found it to be better than original. The problem though is that while original was polished... this bag of stinky poo, continues to suffer from unfixable crashing problems. One day you can play just fine and the next you get crashes every 5 minutes. This has been an ongoing issues for pretty much 3 years now.     Hackers completely ruin the PVP experience effectively rendering the dark zones useless, and Ubisoft refuse to do anything about it.

    Enemies are too tanky and hit fking hard. Stages that have enemies with rpg are nightmare. Your damage are too low like your airsoft vs enemies’rpg

    This is one of the absolute WORST games I have ever played. ESPECIALLY with it being a AAA game. Ubisoft is SOOO PATHETIC now. Just a LAZY game made by a LAZY developer.

    Let me tell you why this game sucks. You start playing the main mission to side mission and say your phone rings or you need to step away for 5-10 minutes. When you do this the game shuts down and you have to start the mission all over again. When you pause a game, 99% of the time when you go back, you pick up where you position you paused in at. I then went back and the descriptions of the armor - doing this made no sense and each time I tried them, the same thing happened - dead after one to two shots. I have had it with this game. Tomorrow it goes back to Gamespot for a store credit. Never again. I hate Clancy's books and I can see that they made the video games just as annoying and confusing.… Expand

    If I try to run my high-DPS gear, I die in 1-2 hits from literally anything. If I try to run a less squishy build, my DPS falls off a cliff and it takes forever to kill anything. Enemies costantly spawn in random directions without warning and will flank/melt you before you have a chance to react.     Ubi5h17 explains that the PvP has "normalized" stats. I don't think they know what that word means. The players stats? Not sure what those would even be, but ok. The specialization stats, sure, those are "normalized". The gear/skill stats, and gear score/level still determines EVERYTHING in PvP. All thats left is spamming your skills (drone, turret etc.). Not a skill based PvP at all. Even in similar FPSMMOs or TPSMMOs, the PvP is independent of PvE or gear achievement. Gave it a 1 because running around a 1:1 scale of a post apocalyptic DC is decent. Thats it.… Expand

    This game is broken they claim to have fixed it 23 march but haven't fixed it yet, followed by really big thread on Ubisoft that since been ignored by Ubisoft, while getting flooded by users with problems.

    I only buy Ubisoft titles at deep discounts, and would never get a game at release that asks AAA Full Price, and as soon as you start the game asks for money again.

    The gameplay is satisfying enough, but it seems they were split on whether this should be a run-n-gun or a cover-based shooter. The gun play is fantastic and the builds are on point, the cover-based system works so well and is so polished.... but the enemies spawn all around you. Sometimes, even right beside you.

    But that aside, the game crashes. A lot. Searching through their forums there are a ton of users experiencing the same thing but Ubisoft has absolutely no idea or care when it comes to figuring it out. One even blamed both Nvidia and AMD.

    Overall the game is great, but if I can't play it without it crashing, it doesn't deserve a highs score.

    Провел в игре более 1400 часов. Все устраивало по началу. Графика хорошая, интересный геймплей, лютые боты. Но все оружие которое есть в игре не нужно совсем. Есть определенные пушки которые тащут, а все остальные для галочки. Все бегают с пулеметами-нерф. Бегают со штурмовыми винтовками-нерф. Потом все стали бегать с винтовками. и т.д. Ну а в пвп одно зло. Темная зона не страшна так как вПровел в игре более 1400 часов. Все устраивало по началу. Графика хорошая, интересный геймплей, лютые боты. Но все оружие которое есть в игре не нужно совсем. Есть определенные пушки которые тащут, а все остальные для галочки. Все бегают с пулеметами-нерф. Бегают со штурмовыми винтовками-нерф.     I played for 20 hours doing same things. Not going to play any longer.
    No good story here. Protagonist is silent. Other characters are forgetable.
    The division is a boring waste of time and disk space.
    Do not buy this game. One cannot return it once downloaded!

    Good graphics but the gameplay is extremely repetetive and boring. All you will do is shoot enemies in the same way for 60 hours.

    Anyone with a brain in his head will be bored after 5 minutes.

    If you want to shoot some enemies after work without thinking much, get in on Sale for 9.99 $...but is is a real borefest.

    I've got 28 hours on this game. The game itself is incredibly beautiful, but at the same time it is the most bugged, glitched game I have ever played, with invisible enemies which are not rendered so I cannot even shoot at and with an unrendered map the game itself is unplayable. Its a pity, but I don't recommend this game to anyone at this stage, it will only result in a waste of time and money.

The enemy is more agent-like than you, they can tank your damage, and finish you off with a few shots, while you can't kill their heavy even after empty your whole meg.     I like the map, the graphics, the environment, but the game is boring, a whole magazine for a single enemy, endgame is repetitive and just a big farm. Also Pvp dark zone gameplay dynamics are not well done.
    I wouldn't play it even if it was a f2p game.

    I prefered the snowy concept of the division 1 as it introduced something different at the time. I've tried to play the 2nd game, this one, but i couldn't play it more than 20 minutes. It's literally boring , nothing new to the previous game.

    je crois que la seule qualité de ce jeux est d'être beau, pour le reste : optimisation à la rue, équilibrage et courbe de difficultée mal gérée, multijoueur ( dark zone ) complétement cassé et cancer, le jeu et ses quêtes sont téllemnt répétitives que même aller à l'usine est plus fun, histoire quasi-inéxistante, et enfin, des bugs plus ou moins grave ( de l'impossibilitée de respawn avecje crois que la seule qualité de ce jeux est d'être beau, pour le reste : optimisation à la rue, équilibrage et courbe de difficultée mal gérée, multijoueur ( dark zone ) complétement cassé et cancer, le jeu et ses quêtes sont téllemnt répétitives que même aller à l'usine est plus fun, histoire quasi-inéxistante, et enfin, des bugs plus ou moins grave ( de l'impossibilitée de respawn avec des caisses de loot qui ne s'ouvres pas en passent par l'IA en étât de mort cérébrale ).     not sure if the game is poorly optimized but it keeps on maxing out my CPU for no reason as well as stutter and lagging to the point where the game is unplayable even with the graphic settings on low
    as well as getting DMR snipers and shotguns all the time when I do get an assault rifle it's always worse than one I've got

    A beautiful world with millions of details that even the real world doesn't have. The combat is improved with less bullet-sponge enemies but the gameplay overall is still repetitive. The story is disappointing as it feels vague and it doesn't make the player feel somehow at least connected and intrigued.     After a few missions you don't feel adventurous, the only thing I felt was exhaustion from all those tiring missions that have basically the same goal but just in different locations. Playing a game is meant to have fun and not to complete a task sheet.

    What Ubisoft was trying to do was to prolong the game by repeating the same missions all over again. After completion of everything the map is all green and the player feels the final accomplishment. That all is crushed by the new enemies that overtake the map and then you have to do it all over again. (note that those enemies are not different than the last ones, just a few different backlog audio and a new type of enemy who this time is an actual bullet sponge robot).    … Expand

    I've bought the ultimate edition for the game, and three days after season 1 finish ubi announce that the game will receive an expansion, and sold the game for 1 buck then my ultimate edition turned to thrash, unlike the first game they are just looking for money, they aren't making new cool game modes or fixing the bugs.

    I paid for ultimate edition, I paid a complete experience and I    I've bought the ultimate edition for the game, and three days after season 1 finish ubi announce that the game will receive an expansion, and sold the game for 1 buck then my ultimate edition turned to thrash, unlike the first game they are just looking for money, they aren't making new cool game modes or fixing the bugs.

They can kill you with 2-5 shots but you cannot do same. You need spend at least 50-100 bullets due to enemy type and goes up. Game state is unplayable for solo players in any difficulty.     2. Play dungeon with directives set, drop loot won't be better.
    3. There is no guarantee god-roll item drop in heroic. (at least should be 1, and maybe is the 1 you want).
    4. shotgun is too weak in close combat (in 10m), with double-barrel , as least 2 head-shot should take out 1 elite (yeah... the yellow one not the boss or heavy armor) in heroic.
    5. Knock-out close fight is useless (yeah.. the "tab" key), enemy can do one-punch-man (you know that anime), player even can't do enemy Knock-down.
    6. Backpack trophy and hunter's mask is mean less , add some attributes , like 3% weapon damage or 3% armor, some thing like that , more player willing spent time to collect them.    … Expand

    1. Walking from point A (base) to point B (mission location), where absolutely nothing happens along a way makes up almost 50% of the game. Can you believe this? Walking simulator?

    2. In connection with the above, the world is completely static and empty, with the exception of a few members of the hyenas here and there with whom you have to confront because they block your path to the mission, there is absolutely nothing interactive, what so ever.

    3. All fights are identical. Take a safe position, deploy turret, from time to time peek out of cover to finish off the remaining opponents. Repeat. Press F to interact where needed. Deploy turret. Repeat. Press F to interact where needed. Deploy turret .... Repeat. Go to base.

    4. Basic and completely unimportant so-called RPG system, which serves no purpose. Honestly, throughout the game I didn’t even bother to find out what those few RPG values ​​meant. Something about damage, armour ...who cares. This is RPG as much as Serious Sam.

    5. The navigation system is horrible. To clarify, coming from Fallout 1 and 2 background, personally I hate games that take the player by the hand.
    But.
    Exploration and discovery in the static world of the Division has absolutely no function. There is a specific minimal number of places to interact with the environment and the player must reach them to begin the mission. Which brings us back to point 2, Walking from point A (base) to point B (mission location) where absolutely nothing happens along a way. OK, morons, take me to that point then, k? Incredibly, more often than not, a navigation system will take you to a point where you can’t do anything. After 5 minutes of holding up arrow key to get there, I would usually end up in front of a building that doesn’t have a single interactive entrance. Huh? What follows is 10-15 minutes of desperate wandering around to come across the location that some "smart" designer thought would be "perfect" and "meaningful" place to start a mission. After the first few hours of playing, just this "feature" was enough to drove me crazy. To the point of screaming on my PC as madman.

    6. Looting system. In theory, as with all other looting systems, the thing should work, right?. Not in the Division. The items and weapons a player finds are never worth feeling really rewarded. It is just a constant redistribution. If the weapon does more damage, it has a lower fire rate and a smaller magazine. If it has a larger ammunition magazine, it does less damage. and so it goes round and round. Obviously, total values are constantly bigger and bigger, but so are your opponents life and armour values, so nothing ever changes really. 2 - 6 shots to kill enemy at lvl 1, 2 - 6 shots to kill enemy at lvl 30. And given that you’re heavily railroaded through the game, what’s the point of bigger and bigger numbers on both sides? Constant equilibrium? It getting worse, actually, when you have to decide which of the dozens of rifles you have collected in your backpack to keep, it becomes an unbearable hassle that I completely avoid in the second part of the game by using one random rifle, and not even trying to pick up the loot anymore.

    7. Usually I don't consider bugs decisive in rating games. But.
    There is no save in the Division. When you start a mission, you have to finish it, because next time you will start from the beginning. And some of them can last. Well, when after half an hour of going through the mission and during the final fight with the level boss, the game crashes, then bugs become important. Just minutes later, after rebooting the game, when I naively set out to repeat the mission, after simmilar amount of wasted time, in almost the same place near the end of mission, I was disconnected from Uplay. ???? !!!!! F..ck, f..ck, f..ck. !!!!!
    At that point, I stopped playing and started writing this review.

    9. Im not driven enough to write any longer, sorry, but there is more, beleive me.

Their relationship with the community is very bad. They tend to ban players for a flaw in the game that they haven't fixed. Even the system they have in place to detect players for glitching or cheating is flawed and many innocent players were severely punished along with the guilty parties. To add more insult to the injury the developers did not ban all the guilty players. A lot of those guilty players remained in game while the rest was suspended for 2 weeks. They had stated that they were also going to role back the accounts on the suspended players for about 2 weeks. That was a lie. My account is now missing 2 months worth of gear and progression. Everything I had spent hours of acquiring is permanently gone for good. If you're looking for a game where the developers care for the greater good of the community this is not the game for you. If you're looking for a game where there is an even balancing for every level of difficulty this is not the game for you. If you want to invest hundreds of hours into a game where you won't be bullied by the devs, this ain't the game for you.
    I had put up with so many game breaking bugs within the Division franchise for years now ( which includes Division 1 and 2 ) but what really made me regret ever coming across this game was how many of us were mistreated by it's game developers with their inaccuracy in regards to pinpointing cheaters. their inability to establish a good relationship with their customers/community, their inability to show fairness, and their inability to be reasonable.     Play around 300 hours, used to like it but when they release a DLC and lock most of the feature behind it, it divided the user into 2 categories: OP and trash. The totally left the based game players behind and force them to buy the expansion (it's completely trashed if you read the review). So thanks to greedy dev, I decided to NOT buy the expansion because it's no longer fun.

    There are many bugs with this game that the developers simply can't or won't fix. Bugs that have been in the game since it launched. There seems to be a total lack of any kind of testing before updates are rolled out.
    I also doubt the developers can ride a bike, because their idea of balance is laughable. As soon as something is fun it gets nerfed, no other form of balancing exists in this game. As soon as people have a decent build, they WILL nerf it.

    Finally let's address the elephant in the room, the recent bans and rollbacks. Massive leave bugs unpatched and ban players. Yes they shouldn't abuse the glitches, but at the same time any decent developer would fix the glitches asap and not roll players back for an arbitrary amount of time because of their own incompetence. Speaking of incompetence, they couldn't even get the bans right. There are loads of videos on youtube of people showing themselves cheating using the glitches and then follow-up videos where even they can;t believe they didn't get banned. Then massive do a state of the game where they say they have 100% accurate detection system for the glitch. They simply lie to the player base.

    Save yourself the time and money, don't buy this game until Ubisoft change the developer to a competent, professional team. Because the game COULD be amazing, it just has a chain around its neck dragging it down, Massive Entertainment.

    Pick up Division 1 on sale cheap and play that instead.    … Expand

    this game is a work in progress, sold half-baked.

    In conclusion, buy this game when it's on sale. play only the campaign and move on to other games unless you have all the time in the world and is OK with these unfixed bugs, and constant changes the developers are doing to perhaps extend your time playing as you will need to re-farm gears until the devs decided to change it again.    … Expand

    -game bugs are returning over and over, such as the Reviver Hive, NPCs stuck in walls making a completion of a given mission impossible, specially in the Dark Zone.

    -Lag-luster connection to their servers in prime time on a busy weekend... this one talks for itself as that delay makes PVP in a competitive DZ very hard.

    -Saying that all updates are free (if you bought the Ultimate Edition) and then retracting that making it sound that "Year one Pass". The game was unfinished at release, not only that but Massive's development made drastic changes that made you start over (during year one) several times hindering your progression. Then when you thought that you had something accomplished Massive announced WoNY and again wiped all your progress of the past year. All hard farmed exotics you may have gathered or that nice gear you got rendered useless. This alone makes a customer feel like garbage and that you may have wasted all that time in the first place.

    -Customer treatment, oh well, let me not get started. Opening a ticket with Ubisoft or Massive (it does not matter) is getting canned emails with a link to a forum or something else. You never get help but that is normal I guess as they think Children don't know what they want anyways or what they do. I am adult and know what I want or need when I pay money for a product that is unusable or so broken that I rather not use it then get frustrated.

    -Banning customers who voice their opinion, or use in-game mechanics to gain an edge to a broken game, unplayable content and ridiculous RNG (farming the same mission 97 times and no exotic drops should tell you what I am talking about).

    Massive does not even play their game, (well now one of their developers does with one of the mayor exploiters of the game anyways).

    Massive has no line to follow when it comes to content, all you get here is the same grindy mission to be played over and over. One example: Kill 500 Outcasts while they are on fire. That makes it 500 times killing in the same instance over and over, how boring and frustrating that must be? Anybody remembers Diablo 3, where each run you made rewards you with a bit more power, gear drops left and right making you feel after ever session that you have acomplished something... if you look for such feeling in the Division 2, don't be shocked if you don't have that after 1000 hours played... you will never have that feeling. Even if you have that feeling Massive will take it away with a NERF as they think the piece of gear (be it a weapon or gear piece does not matter) is overpowered and needs to brought in line with the PVP content of the game.

    PVP... they have a ZONE (Dark Zones) where you PVP but you have NPCs that you have to kill to get Gear, so you have to PVE in a PVP zone but they want to "Level the gear to the PVP zone" while completely breaking the PVE aspect of that gear or set.     Its always the same, even now with the "new" events: Finish this mission you already played at least 50 times again and get some checkpoints to unlock the manhunt. Seriously how lame is that?     Ok since the game is only 3- 9 bucks worthy I guess they get a lot new players that really enjoy that. But for Players that spend more than 32 days into this game it sucks. Even the Polarity Mission is just boring. Maybe Day1, its was nice to have a new type of challenge but in the end its just shoot this many people in a special way.

    I really enjoyed hunting down Keener. But even is death is so meh. No one cares what happens after that. All we get is this endless grind to level 1000. And yeah I did that because I love grinding and did all kind of side activities like Territoriums, Target Practise, Rescue Hostage legid. And yeah its boring as hell even with friends.

    Using the glitch was the first time I felt like this is how the game should be. You get so much bad loot in 200 hours of grinding even with this glitch its crazy. And its not like you are rambo and cant die. You still need to find good spots to be in cover or else they will one shot you. I challenged myself with doing legendary runs all over again solo and hell yeah that was a lot of fun. And it tooks me 56 trys to get a crappy rolled exotic. I am a hardcore grinder and I lose 200 hours with the rollback.
    it would be fine if I would have played 50 hours but this is just mad.

    The generell loot was not very good and it feeled like grinding for legendarys in Anthem(46 hours no legendary).
    While using the glitch I went of the grid no groups and no friends that could be affected by it.

    I am a developer myself for a game company and I can say that we never would treat customer this way. They could have bring a pop up message that informs player about the situation and who ever is using it will get there accounts rolled back and my guess 90 % would have stopped right away.

    But it feels like a team from masseffect andromeda and anthem. I am not sure why they can't fix stuff that is important for players for month, instead they blame the players for there incompetence.

    Now we can't matchmake anymore because we can get banned if we matchmake with someone using any glitch.And the next think what is a glitch in there terms because some are allowed and some not.

    And now instead of buffing the weapons they are nerfing the only dps build that make sense in this game to the ground.

    This game becomes a joke and after 32 days of gametime I am going to stop until they get there **** done.

    No more Bullet sponges accept bosses and armored guys
    More rewarding Drops no purples and low tier gear in challenging and heroic missions
    Revive Hive is working as it should
    More content and better quest system.
    And the most important think is this toxic mindset that Massive has against his playerbase. If this will not change than there live service game will become the next Anthem.

    Its time for Final Fantasy 7 and to grind again like it should be ^^    … Expand

Not to mention the dps glitch is still around and players are now being perma-banned because of matchmaking. The developer's level of ignorance is at DJT levels. I understand banned players are in the minority, but they are quite active on other platforms for the game. That's probably how they found out about the glitch before devs publicized it. I found out because of the patchnotes on 3/22. It seemed like that is when it caught fire. How can you justify such an extensive rollback? People are seeing their DZ stats are completely reset as well. Do the devs think everybody who tried it, took it into PVP???? Give yourself a 2 week rollback and see how you feel. Rest your recalibration library. Delete all your loot. reset your specilization points. Do this and know that you can't get your season event caches back either. You have to go back and redo tidal basin for nemesis parts. you have to replay level 4 control points for the holster. you have to replay true sons missions for the exotic chest. you have to re-farm NY bosses for lady death. It is just brutal, most people probably never want to play a UBISOFT game again.
    The developers really do need to project and see how this looks from the perspective of banned players. Maybe they assume the banned community has been doing it since TU8 release, but reality some people only tried it after the failed patches. It is really brutal for them to be rolled back 2 weeks with 1 week ban. Its just a kick in the face for unbanned players to gloat. Its even worse knowing there are heavy glitchers who kept the loot. Its just toxic to see youtubers cozy with the devs shove it their faces.
    The game is definitely amazing to play though. the premise and gameplay is awesome. However, the developers are seriously out of touch. Maybe it is because they know they put a great game out there?    … Expand

    do not buy this game or any other game from this studio
    instead of fixing the bugs that are ruining the whole game experience for everyone, instead of fixing the broken PVP and the bullet sponge NPCs in PvE
    they ban their players for getting a benefit from the bugs they didn't fix and kept in the game for a long time

    With the experience accumulated on The Division 1, Massive manages with TD2 to excite our curiosity. Stronger, more generous, better built, the title succeeds where other games as service before it has struggled to. Thanks to its end-game, which renew the experience by adding content and skillfully recycles the existing one, but also thanks to this map of Washington, absolutely fantastic, which allows more than ever to immerse yourself in the universe of the agents of the Division.
