    This game back in 2016 used to be my favourite. The characters had unique but not overpowered abilities (for the most part). The game had and still has its flaws; like problems with net-code and aim but overall i enjoyed it.
    Until they had decided to remove half of the maps from competitive scene and add characters with abilities like from overwatch.     I don't despise this game, but i think things need to be changed in order to revive its old charm.

    I would like to state that you will not get used to playing if you are alone or even there are 4 people because the usage areas of operators are so wide. Gather your 5 friends and play the game more effectively. So, you can play in a much more coordinated way if you have 5 friends in a team. In the simplest case, if the operators in the team are not the kind that supports each other, the game becomes unbalanced.

    The vanilla operators are also very good, but Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 operators are well balanced with each other. It can take some time to learn and get used to the main equipment that all operators have. Do not break your morale while playing that moment.

    The community of the game is worst! Not all of them, but almost 85% are worst. I can write pages about it. I don't even want to mention it. So, I will pass that part... Sorry.

    If you are playing the highest graphical texture in this game so that the graphics are good, there is no point in telling you. The game is a tactical based game and it does not even take 5 minutes. So do not do this for a 5-minute pleasure. It also causes the game to load late. If there is a difference between the pleasure you feel during sex and the pleasure you feel at the peak, there is such a difference. If you continue playing, of course, you can increase graphical quality and even download High-Res Textures from the store page.     Re: Year 6 Season 2 - Removal of dead bodies, small arms bullet holes until it breaks bigger chunks of debris, bulletproof glass can now shatter from meleeing it with your guns, fictitious weaponry ie: Scorpion EVO S1 Carbine is semi-auto only, there is NO fire select on it. (The smaller SMG version has fire select), but let's face it... the realism of this arcade hero shooter has been thrown out the window.

    Make the game free to play, or put it 6 feet in the ground. Casual redditors do not deserve to dictate change to a game that used to have a basis of realism.    … Expand

I sunk more than 900 hours into R6 and it is still enjoyable. However, Ubisoft has a long history of making the game unplayable for long periods of time, for example when the add Ela.     Here one flaw the developers can't fix: community is awful, everyone is just "hardcore" and everyone wants to be the next esports player, while they all suck because no one even knows where right or left is.

    Well the game itself can be quite good. BUT: Rubberbanding makes the game unplayable. If you can't provide an online game with stable and fast servers, don't make an online game.

    After having played so many Call of Duty games, CS:GO and Team Fortress 2, this game feels like a step back, especially when you play it with a controller in which case the aiming is almost impossible. It feels like it has really clunky controls. The aiming is very hard with players like Clash and Montagne. We cannot pick up the weapons dropped by dead enemies (this made sense in TeamAfter having played so many Call of Duty games, CS:GO and Team Fortress 2, this game feels like a step back, especially when you play it with a controller in which case the aiming is almost impossible. It feels like it has really clunky controls. The aiming is very hard with players like Clash and Montagne. We cannot pick up the weapons dropped by dead enemies (this made sense in Team Fortress 2 and Overwatch since they are class-based characters but there's no reason here). There are a lot of smurf accounts that abuse us for not playing on their level (even though we are in the Newcomers level), and there is no way to report such players.

    In terms of visual appeal this game is great. There are also a large number of maps to choose from, which makes this game look like it had a lot more potential. There are also plenty of characters to choose from. Though it lacks a campaign mode, it makes up for it with Challenges (which are also very difficult for new players). So overall I'd say it's a gorgeous looking game ruined by its bad controls and community.    … Expand

    -> now you have Characters that are like a mix of Call of Duty and Overwatch. Basically "Heroes" in a "tactical" Setting
    - Gampelay and rounds are essentially: Rushing in like a stressed and panicked speedrunner into buildings, breaching like crazy and shooting with guns that all have a weird little sway around the crosshair.

    Because anything slow and methodical wouldn't work for people with ADHS and the need to entertain huge E-sport-crowds, I guess?

    - the only time where you have at least a littlebit of methodical and tactical approach, is when you play with friends on "Training Grounds" (the former Terrorist Hunt"),
    but its nothing compared to SWAT 5 or the old Rainbow Six 3.
    -> All the AI-Enemies look the same,
    -> you can't even take bots as team-mates with you (you know, a feature even the 18 ! year old Rainbow Games had!)
    -> Ubi$oft nerfed the amount of "Renown" to oblivion (currency you need to unlock new characters (lol)) you get through single-player and coop-missions, so unlocking new operators takes horrendous amounts of time
    (~300 hours or you can spend real cash and that'll be over a hundred bucks. Just take a look at the currency-packs and the tiny amount of renown you earn ingame and do the math! There is a reason Ubi$oft keeps the Season-passes, ingame-currency and different editions as not selfexplanatory as possible!)
    -> Your weapons are less deadly and sometimes you'll have to shoot multiple rounds into enemies
    -> You can't make enemies give up / handcuff them
    -> downed AI-enemies will just die. They can't shoot at you or be secured or anything of this "boring tactical SWAT-stuff"

    So a LOT of the tention of true tactical shooters is gone.

    On the TECHNICAL side of things: Game cloggs 45 (!) gb on the hdd with only 14 maps (and no real bot-support and smaller mapsize in general!) compared to the 15 maps of RS 3 + 6 MP maps and additional fanmade maps = 21 maps! and runs worse with every update.

    Ubisoft decided to create a MOBA-Call-of-Duty-Overwatch mix for Twitch-streamers and the "E-Sports"-business, with zero intention to support the core-mechanic of tactical-shooters anymore.
    Their last "Playbook-Story-Trailer" made this pretty obvious.    … Expand

    I love this game. It's fun, either with friends or alone. Sure, it can be quite rage-enducing, but once you get the hang of it, you can't stop playing. Still, there are some problems i would like to point out.
    1. The servers are crap. There is rarely even a month without them having some kind of error and being down for a few hours. Still, nothings happening.

    2. Some of the operators are just not fun to play against. For example, Shiled operators. Nobody likes playing against them. Tbh, i think the game would be better without them.
    3. The anti-cheat SUCKS. I'm currently ranked Platinum 2, and there is a cheater in about 40% of my matches. Please Ubi, get a new **** anticheat system.
    4. Most of the cosmetics are trash. Sure, there are jewels like Black Ice, but those are really rare.
    5. There are WAY too many maps, which are, simply put, garbage. Like, who the heck at Ubi thought that it was a good idea putting Favela and Tower in the map rotation??? Another linked complain are reworks. Some map reworks like Chalet or Theme Park were important and right, But then there are House and Hereford Base. Those were WORSE after their rework, and everybody complains about it, yet we can't have the old ones back.
    6. The balancing is kinda weird. There are WAY too many unneeded changes to Operators.
    Another complain is that Ubi only balances around the Pro League, everyone else gets ignored in terms of balancing.
    7. The Updates are getting worse every season. We are getting less content every year. There hasn't been a new map for almost 2 years now.

    I still love it and play it every day

Minuses... cheaters and smurfs, if you try to play rating without wallhack and aimbot, you will be **** in all holes by smurfs, who have 52 account level, and they play better than cheaters. Do not try to buy the game until ubisoft has banned all smurfs and cheaters once and for all

    i played this game for 1229 hours. This game is worst game ever i play. I sick of these crashes. Also game's engine is very bad. People now using guns for shooting they are using their scopes maybe their eyes lol.

    This game has the potential but the way ubi treats it is just sad. Servers are absolute garbage and need upgrading. Making the overlay more buggier like the game is THAT optimized.

    It's much more accessible than ARMA but much more technical than COD and imo strikes the perfect balance. Catering your approach based on the objective, operators and situation is a real treat.     Игра хороша, НО... Звук просто ужасен. для шутера позиционирование звука крайне важно. тут - это какой-то рендом. очень плохая оптимизация. Конечно, можно сделать скидку на старый движок, но игра обновлялась (а последний патч вообще перекачал клиент полностью)... баги анимация, читеры, рандом... всё здесь.
    может быть неплохим вариантом для группы из 5 человек - чтоб погореть или    Игра хороша, НО...     The game is good, BUT ... The sound is terrible. for a shooter, sound positioning is extremely important. here - it's some kind of random. very bad optimization. Of course, you can make a discount on the old engine, but the game was updated (and the last patch was completely full client re-download) ... animation bugs, cheaters, random ... everything is here.
    can be a good option for a group of 5 people - to get burned or laugh in the company.

Selection of players works like this: you do lot's of kills every match - you will get dumb teammates, you do nothing in matches - your teammates are S1mples. I'm **** making team with 3 my good guys and 2 random mentally retarded teammates destroy all match?

    So a new player has to learn so many different characters that they may end up quitting because of the sheer amount of content, that being said, siege is still absolutely amazing, and if a new player has a friend or two to help teach them what all the characters do, and all of the games mechanics , then this is a must buy for any shooter fan.    … Expand

    В siege за первых 4 года наиграл 1000+ часов, за 5 год только 80-100 из за того, что удалили часть карт из ранкеда, надоело играл за 5 картах так как половина из тех что осталась просто улетает во время бана карт. Друзья совсем забросили игру, говорят пока старые карты не вернут и +5 новых не добавят они не вернуться.     Broken servers, broken matchmaking, broken game, devs supporting smurfing and much more. Peeps at support wont even reply to ur tickets if its regarding smurfs. Yea you will eventually face so many smurfs in opponents, sometimes party of 5 smurfs, that u would eventually give up on the game. Servers are always broken, cant invite friends to ur party because of that.. totally **** game

The game takes way too much time to load for everyone. I understand its a part of the game and I'm not saying to remove the ability to do it but spawn peaking is annoying to deal with and its super annoying to deal with defenders who jump off a second floor or they just exit the building and kill you with almost no risk since there's a 3 second countdown for the spawn peeker to only get spotted, the countdown can be reset if you go inside making it very easy to abuse the system. There are ways to deal with it, like droning certain areas, using long ranged operators like Glaz and Kali, but it just makes the game unfun having to constantly watching every peekable area so my team doesn't get killed. Sometimes the bullet don't register so headshots are kind of wonky, inconsistent sometimes and the game has several bugs but Ubisoft just wants to add more operator into a game with enough diversity for money, instead of actually fixing the terrible game.… Expand

    One of the best FPs on the market, the only skilled shooter left that is deeply enjoyable after DICE turned the Battlefield Franchise into a "pew pew", kids skill level, COD wannabie. R6 Siege is so Enjoyable and worth every penny.. Grab the Season pass if you like looking good on the battlefield !

    Sometimes you'll just die... for no reason. Then you view the replay, and someone runs out from a corner and kills you.. but this was not visible on your screen AT ALL. lol No lag either... Who the hell knows.

    That's the other thing... hacked to death. Hacks hacks hacks. Location always known and being shot through walls. You can tell because people run EXACTLY to those points immediately. You can see plenty of examples on Youtube.

    Its still ok but it was better before and you can clearly see that they are having hard times balancing the operators. They have slowed down content so there isn't much to look forward to anymore. The maps are for the most part really bad. Game can be fun with a full squad of friends

    I have a love relationship with this game even though i love its core gameplay the balencing is often broken and hit reg and glitches are comon, hackers have been a recent big problem and balancing maps and operators usaly takes way too long if i where you i would rather put your time in competive shooters that are functioning to be fair

    The main problem with R6 is that it's extremely difficult to get into now that other players have become so good at it. While games like CSGO and Rainbow Six Siege competitive at heart, Rainbow Six Siege is on another level. CSGO's main skill is aiming, while R6 has so many elements and new things to master. It's an well-crafted but extremely frustrating game.

    When I first played this game I hated it. Now I have 400 hours in it. It's difficult, but accessible and informational in a way that makes it very doable to improve, with very tangeable results. I'm still playing, and I always have fun. Can't ask for much more than that.

    *Unranked mode is for playing Ranked Style games without loosing Rank in the Rank system of the game..
    *Ranked Mode is the competitive part of the game..

    Issues

    There are hackers who now a days are rare that can ruin your game-play, report them immediately when you understand..
    Also there are smurfs, High level players using a lox level account to play with low level players, who can ruin the fun by using high level starts.. This is now a banable offence, try reporting them..    … Expand

    Gameplay is great as the maps available are well thought whilst the older ones that were phased out were pretty trash (don’t even get me started on the skyscraper map). Ranked is good but it could have some improvements such as better servers and no lose of points when you face a hacker.

    Speaking of, this game has too many cheaters in the higher ranks. It’s completely ruins the experience for some people and even pros has quit because of this. Ubisoft seriously need to do something about this.

    Overall, give this shot because it’s worth it when you get good and kick but however, I would wait a little bit until the hacking and cheating dies down quite a bit so that you aren’t having fun.    … Expand

    All around a good game, you have to be tactical and use your head. However, that doesn't mean that you can't mess around, that might be the star of this game. The only complaint is that the hitboxes can be buggy and the hit registration doesn't always seem to work.

    К этой игре можно было бы относиться серьёзно, если бы карты были процедурно-генерируемые. В таком случае геймплей не сводился бы к заучиванию карт.
    Глушитель не делает выстрел бесшумным, совсем. Откуда басовые частоты в звуке выстрела?
    Логика, реализм, ИИ (в описании игры указана "сингл-плеер") - никогда не слышал об этом.

    personalmente se me hizo aburrido, es muy tactico lo cual lo hace bastante divertio, sobre todo para jugar con amigos, pero no es mi tipo de juego, sobre todo porque no me gustan los juegos que tienen un meta muy muy establecido y tiene ya 20000 personajes que desbloquear (o comprar) cuando tu apenas tienes 1

    Os gráficos são bonitos, mesmo no low. A gameplay é muito fluida, mesmo a proposta limitando primordialmente.     I think it is the best game that I seen. It is very good for 2015. Yeah, there is games better than R6 in 2015 but the best FPS is this game. It is a tactical game. I loved it so much. At the game, there is a lot of teamwork. If your team is nice and you have tactics, it means you won.

    I never played FPS that is so tactical like this before. Those who designed this game are ingenius. It is extremly satisfied when you killed enemy with your wit. The learning curve though is very steep. You really need to understand map and how to callout each room to play this game effectively. Toxic can happened but it is understandable for FPS games that allow friendly fire like this. Classes are creative and encourage strategic thinking.

    The only complain of me at this moment is the server. It is unstable and sometimes takes so long like 4 min+ to find a room. If Ubisoft fix their server and increase speed of matchmaking, I would give 10/10. Definitely one of the best FPS multiplayer I've ever played in my life.    … Expand

The microtransations are the biggest turn off for me. 1/3 of the game is locked behind a pay wall or requires 200+ hours of game time to "purchase".     Now the best way to enjoy R6S is playing it on AMD hardware, Vulkan made this game smoother than ever, And the input lag reduced by 4% compared to DX11, No doubt AMD knows how to destroy Intel and Nvidia.

With new battle pass on 35 LEVELS (not on 100 like in Apex or CoD or Fortnite) for 1200 game currency... (You can return 600. JUST HALF OF FULL PRICE. UBI YOU PIECE OF ****).
