    This is game is definitely not made for everyone, it's a coop game made in an era where everything is competitive and focused on pvp. This is not one of these games. That I think is why the reviews are so low for this game

    The gun play is the same from Rainbow Six Siege and movement has been tweaked to fit better with the style of the game. It has great coop integration and has a variety of enemies to fight. With all the operators, there are many ways to approach the challenges that the games throw at you and it's played with up to 2 other players.

    The down sides are that the endgame is pretty weak at the moment but that is bound to change with the free updates that are going to be coming. The objectives are a little repetitive but if you decide to change up how you play with any of the operators, it's bound to stay enjoyable. Playing with friends can alleviate most problems with this game.

    Though I am really enjoying this game as of release, I can see why people are not on board with this type of game, and may be resenting the fact that Ubisoft decided to make this game instead of fixing problems with siege or not just updating siege more.    … Expand

    Surprisingly good game for Ubisoft, especially for team of 3. You can play it solo, but that would not be as interesting as the core part what makes this game great is the collaboration between team members required to enjoy end-game content.

    I like this Game. I also like this PVE mode only. It's not a L4D but better as B4B for sure.

    Not pay to win. Tactical. Great game. Really enjoying playing it. I don't understand why it has such a low score. It's a really unique game.

    I didn't expect that it would be fun to play at all but it turned out to be so enjoyable and def worth to give it a try.
    Only concern I have is the contents it has, it would be crashed up within 30 hours or so.

    The game, although based on an R6S event, is still very good. For starters if you play it with friends it will be a good experience, the visuals could be improved, I would have given it a more terrifying atmosphere to take advantage of the implementation of a torch. The gameplay is the same as R6S so I think it's perfect. In my opinion the only thing missing are maps, a bigger amount ofThe game, although based on an R6S event, is still very good.     For sure at the moment misses a bit of variety and if the features above are not appreciated, then the game won’t be as well.

    I think it's a great game. Great mechanics, fun to play solo or with friends. The game runs really well I haven't had any problems with frame rate or glitches. The menus are stylish and all the guns and gear are fun to use. Overall a very good time.

    I really like the game, even though I am playing it solo. I always wanted to play R6 but not PvP and now I can play the operators is in my favourite setting: creepy enemies and dark atmosphere. The stealth combat is great and braking the walls is so much fun. I care about the gameplay and not the story so this games delivers exactly what I wanted, and good reason to shoot the enemies. II really like the game, even though I am playing it solo. I always wanted to play R6 but not PvP and now I can play the operators is in my favourite setting: creepy enemies and dark atmosphere.     Good game, great graphic and gameplay.
    If you like *OLD* R6S as not like a just running and shooting game. And here is more reality lighting that has more darker and deeper tone,
    and more reality bomb breaking simulation effects, just try this game.

    Too much haters that is not actually played this game and leave rating, so I give 10 for balance these.

    Really fun to play with friends! Maelstrom protocol (AKA Ranked) is one heck of a challenge but if you're willing to try a bit harder, it's worth every minute. Headshots feel amazing, and the death and remaining hp mechanic is a really good thing, because I used to only play the same three characters on Siege. Some people might say that some character's specialties are useless, but ifReally fun to play with friends!     ATTENTION- Please watch gameplay or even try the game for yourself if possible. It is a fantastic PvE stealth shooter. It has fantastic graphics and looks better than Siege. It has MUCH more than 1 hour of content, and more will be coming. Try it for yourself. It gets undeserved hate.

    Very good graphics, well-implemented co-op you have fun with your friends you will enjoy the tech landscapes, the weapons feel good, the equipment and drones adapted in an apocalypse with zombie / aliens quite functional.

    Pretty good game imo. If you're familiar with the game titles such as GTFO or any PVE shooter, then this game might suit you. A linear progression system based on many selection of operators with customizable loadouts. Operators need to be leveled up in order to access "advancements" on their gadgets (i.e Lion's scan has increased duration). I will admit; jumping into the game first handPretty good game imo. Next, complaint is "The game is too hard". To be honest, this IS a Tough Game! And Guess what? That's the beauty of it all...meat and potatoes! This game forces you take responsibility! Because every mission can turn south at any given moment. You need to plan, and be able to strategize on the fly, work together and leave together no matter what! It's like playing the first socom game where every mission is treacherous, and your squad mates are your lifeline, and you only get one shot. My conclusion...Rainbow Six Extraction gives you a piece of the military horror movies that you can now play out. While the game may be difficult, it worth it to stick in and bump heads with the enemy until you understand the maps and broaden your overall knowledge of tendency. I will give a little tip. (When clearing rooms, try and eliminate everything moving as quickly as possible starting with any grunts first then nest second and move on to the next room with a fast pace and repeat). That is of course if you don't want to do it with stealth. However, if you are open minded enough to separate the Brand from the game & you enjoy pve shooters...This game is for you!… Expand

    A great cooperative game. Playably it is highly satisfactory, and on a visual and sound level it has great solidity. I feel sorry that some players do not appreciate the proposal, but I am sure that it is a great bet for the future. If Ubisoft follows this path, it will soon find a good reward.

Needs to time get better players. so game is little bit expensive. I played 5 years Rainbow six siege and im done with that.     The game have an unexpectedly comfortable and challenging solo-play experience. Good game to complete a lot of tasks, dive into the atmosphere of infected locations. Some gadgets and operators might be looking useless at the first glance, but actually have a real usecases.
    Good deal for Game Pass or Ubisoft Store with 100 Units discount.

The gameplay leans heavily towards teamwork and reliance on squad members to succeed. Feels very well optimized on PC. Operator management has been made interesting by using a timeout mechanic built around rescuing MIA operators orRecently added to the XBOX PC Gamepass via Ubisoft, so I haven't bought this game. This is the first Rainbow Six game I have played. Looks good aesthetically. The gameplay leans heavily towards teamwork and reliance on squad members to succeed. Feels very well optimized on PC. Operator management has been made interesting by using a timeout mechanic built around rescuing MIA operators or earning HP during successful missions to heal up injured operators and reactivate them. Loadout system is solid. Gunplay and abilities feel good. AI is challenging. Could get repetitive, so if you aren't digging the early gameplay loop this could get old quickly.     Very good coop game.
    Better with friends.
    Don't use crossplay, console players are terribly bad.
    Lot of content, calm game with a good ambiance.
    Not too repetitive, great repliability.
    Good graphics, good weapon like R6S.
    Good little Game for 30€/40$.
    Don't understand the hate, the game is better than a lot of ubisoft latest projects.
    Give it a try, it's cool.

    I didn't like Siege but loving this. Wide variety of missions, maps, enemies, and operators. I dislike stealth games but somehow the semi-stealth gameplay hooked me. Progression feels satisfying too.

The 12 maps are divided in 4 bioms, they are vary and sizable indoors with outdoor sections. The operators come straight from Siege with theirBeen playing Extraction since day one, they made it easy to find always player thanks to crossplay between all platforms and thanks to free 2 hours demo and 14 days Buddy Pass you can bring your friends even if they haven't bought the game!! The 12 maps are divided in 4 bioms, they are vary and sizable indoors with outdoor sections. The operators come straight from Siege with their abilities sometimes adjusted for the PVE nature of the game. Every week there are 2 modes that reset . One of theme is the maelstrom protocol , this is really challenging and communication is a must, the great part of this mode is the opportunity to complete a challenge to claim premium credit to be used in the store, credit that usually is locked behind real money! With the credits you can unlock new cosmetics specific for this mode. I'm really enjoying my time with this game and it's a nice break from PVP games. I'm looking forward for new content that will come for free in the future .… Expand

    This game should be rated higher, too many Siege fan bois upset they got spanked by an npc when they moved up from the easiest tier. Guess what it's not Siege or did you think this was PUBG. If it's not your type of game just move on Karen. I'll bet this review makes a few Karens rage quit Metacritic, ROFLMAO!

    The content of the missions is extremely repetitive, both in terms of gameplay and use of the same locations (with minor modifications) and even graphical assets. Moreover, the game tries to pretend to be a tactical action game, but in practice one is instead faced with chaotic action, where you lure most of the enemies from the entire level onto you after the first shot.
