    They took what they started in the first game and made a complete package. Going through the singleplayer reminds me of my first time going through Half Life 2. You're not bothered with a ton of cut scenes and quick time events. The story just happens around you as you progress. The boss battles remind me of those in classic games like Metal Gear Solid 1.

    The multiplayer took everything great about the first one and made it better. The game feels more balanced and there's enough variety in mechs, weapons and gear that you'll keep coming back.

    It's a real shame that it's released in the middle of competing with the two long running monster franchises of Battlefield and Call of Duty.

    This game deserves a long healthy life and with free DLC coming I hope that encourages those who held off on buying it now to get it later.    … Expand

    I'll keep this short and simple. This game is so much fun! Good graphics (not BF1 great, but good), smooth gameplay, and great progression system. The mech vs pilot aspect adds a layer to the game that helps keep each match feeling fresh. The movement is so fast and fluid, and the shooting just feels right. After each match, I just can't stop myself from starting another. Haven't evenI'll keep this short and simple. This game is so much fun! The Effect and Cause level was absolutely amazing, and the ending actually moved me. Also, haven't stopped playing the multiplayer, and BF1 is collecting dust.     Great game, well balanced multiplayer with a fun and arcade-like formula. Think of call of duty play style with giant mechs involved. I am very happy that all the DLC is free and there is no season pass. On top of that, devs are aware that the game is on PC and provided it with great support and overall level of polish (i.e. 4k @ 60fps recommended hardware and many other bells and whistles).

    It's hard to play a game when you stop every few minutes to look at the graphics and scenery. It's hard to stop and look at the graphics and scenery when you can jump inside the chest of an awesome killer robot and blow everything up. It's hard to give all the credit to the awesome robot when the storyline is so engaging and intelligent.     Amazing game that I think isn't getting the attention it deserves being sandwiched between a Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty Infinite Warfare release dates. Totally recaptured and built upon what made the first game so great!

    If Electronic Arts embraces this new franchise and Respawn keep delivering games like this , then this could be the new series to take the throne in the first person shooter genre. Simply Amazing!

    One of the best FPS games I've played in a while. The single player campaign fun and very enjoyable. The multiplayer matches are short but sweet. My favorite though is coop which came out as a free DLC this month, called frontier defense and it is addicting.     Outstanding FPS, truly an edge above the rest. The single player campaign is fairly short but extremely high quality. Multiplayer is among the best in current FPS. Shame the EA murdered it with their stupid sales strategy.

    For $5-10 on sale there's no reason you should not have this.

    If you liked Half-life, get this game; if you liked Doom, get this game. A new benchmark in the FPS genre. The single player campaign is well paced and immersive. A game has not drawn me in as much as Titanfall 2 in a long time. Thank you Respawn for creating this game!!! :)

    This game is amazing. I loved the first Titanfall and this is a worthy sequel. At first I was skeptical about the changes to titans and pilot movement, but after playing for a while the new system feels great.

    I don't play many multiplayer shooters, so I strictly rate this game based on its campaign. With that said, if you have the opportunity to pick up this game, I highly recommend it - it's full of amazing scripted (and unscripted) moments. Each level presents a unique combination of enemies, weapons, and (most importantly) environments, which allow you to be creative and selective in yourI don't play many multiplayer shooters, so I strictly rate this game based on its campaign. With that said, if you have the opportunity to pick up this game, I highly recommend it - it's full of amazing scripted (and unscripted) moments. Each level presents a unique combination of enemies, weapons, and (most importantly) environments, which allow you to be creative and selective in your methods of getting to the end. The production quality is high in terms of acting, visuals, music, and sound. The game ends up being more emotionally impactful than it has any right to. For your money, you also get the multiplayer segment, which offers loads of content, but I got the game at a discount and certainly got my money's worth just out of the campaign.… Expand

    This is to counteract the troll reviews. Game is great fun, like the first game which had the gameplay mechanics locked but now with more content.
    Titans have more weapons, more cool weapons and grappling hook add alot.

    I bought this game for $9.89 dollars, and oh boy, what a campaign.

    As someone who played the Alpha of Titanfall 1 back on early life of Xbox One, I always wondered if they will ever make a campaign out of this game and indeed they did. Titanfall 2 is fantastic. The loading screens kinda ruin the immersion of the storytelling (you get quite a few of them in missions) but other than that,    I bought this game for $9.89 dollars, and oh boy, what a campaign.

    As someone who played the Alpha of Titanfall 1 back on early life of Xbox One, I always wondered if they will ever make a campaign out of this game and indeed they did. Titanfall 2 is fantastic. The loading screens kinda ruin the immersion of the storytelling (you get quite a few of them in missions) but other than that, great storyline, great plot and great voice acting. I personally wish we had more cut-scenes to add a bit more lore to the characters and maybe BT. I completed the campaign in about 4.2 hours on Hard difficulty. The campaign achievements are somewhat easy to get (achievements are only on Origin sadly, as of 6/28/20, no Steam achievements), you can get one for every mission/episode you complete (there are 9 missions). Suggestion? Respawn, a photomode would be pretty cool in this game. Something like what Fallen Order has.

    Multiplayer wise, it's as fun as the campaign. Can't really say anything more than that.

    Respawn needs to make a Titanfall 3 that exceeds this campaign, though it will be very hard.

    Get the game, you won't regret it.

    Fun fact, towards the end and in the credits you can see some lore about Apex Legends. Pretty neat how they put that in the game and a few years later, we got Apex Legends.    … Expand

    I just wish to have more players playing here in my country (Brazil).

    For a multi-player focused game, this campaign was surprisingly awesome. Even without multi-player, this game is easily in my top 3 games of 2016 so far. The game looks fantastic, runs at a high frame rate and the campaign is exiting, fun and has a cool story. Highly recommended.

    One of the best games of the year that hardly anyone played... good job EA releasing it at the same time as BF1. The campaign is one of the best campaigns in a game to date and the MP is top notch. Can't really complain!

    So much fun to play, makes you feel like you are playing your first, first person shooter all over again. The campaign is painfully short but incredibly engaging. If you can get this game for $20 or less or just rent it for the weekend you should give it a shot. I got if for free with my Origins Access account and was extremely impressed.

Then after the loading screen it would be a new level and I would think "No this is my favorite", this went on for the entire campaign and there is a mission where you join a bunch of ..... on a battlefield and it's udder chaos.     -It doesn't quite have the same feel as the first Titanfall. The maps don't feel as lively but they will be releasing more maps, and for free which is something no other major title does.
    -Titans aren't as OP as they were in the first game but I actually think that's a good thing. The worst part of the first TF (besides the horrible loading issues) was dreading the pilot phase because you felt so underpowered and hopeless. You still feel powerful as a Titan, but there's a better sense of balance in my opinion.
    -The loadouts are a little imbalanced right now. Grapple hooks are terrible compared to Stim or Cloak and there's no logical reason to use it. Cloak is just ridiculously OP on some maps where backgrounds can give the cloak animation practical invisibility to pilots and the speed boost from Stim needs to be taken down a few pegs.
    -They fixed the obnoxious three sequence loading from the first game, thank god.
    -The campaign was nice but it was pretty short.
    -It feels slightly overpriced for the amount of content offered at launch, BUT this can be forgiven when all future content will be free.

    Unfortunately, this game's lifespan on PC is on the brink because of so much negativity surrounding the game so I'd recommend getting it on console since the populations on the dedicated servers will be more robust over the long term.

    Overall this game is a solid 8/10, but like I said, 10/10 to counter the trolls.    … Expand

    Really a good game, campaing is some short but still funny, and good graphics and sound, multiplayer evolve with more options and customize, now u can give it your own touch for u custom gameplay.

    The first TF was perfect, the second one was messed up, 40$ lost for this awful game!
    This game is unfair in many ways. Just buy the TF1, the TF2 is waste of money!

    As a huge fan of the original Titanfall, I can easily say that Titanfall 2 is a masterpiece! Multiplayer is satisfying, addictive and fun, and the campaign is one of the best in years of shooters!

    The one thing I feel like is missing in this game is a practise room, where you can try out weapons and titans under different circumstances. Sure, there is the story mode where you can try everything, but it takes a while to find those weapons.

I took a chance with Titanfall 2 because the reviews were simply glowing on all sides. Yet, I was worried as I kept reading news stories saying how it will "fail" as it went up against B1 and CoD.     this is my most favourite multiplayer FPS since many years. i love the speed of it and the movement mechanics in general. shooting is incredibly rewarding as well. I've also played the single player campaign twice, because i've enjoyed a lot. Titanfall 2 just looks exactly how I like my sci-fi to looks. The community is great and mostly present on reddit in r/titanfall.

    One of the best campaigns I've ever played in a game, it's a little collectible to excite an exploration is true, but the plot and the challenge (playing hard to clear) is very exciting. The multiplayer had a huge evolution compared to the first, full of news.

    Great game made by old IW devs who made MW1/2. Campaign was action packed and MP is always fresh and evolving. Lots of customization and it's good to support a company that promotes free DLC & an anti P2W micro transactions attitude. Hoping the holiday season advertising and lower price will bring more players onboard. Best experienced on PC in 4K.

    Fun game. Expounds on the "demo" or "proof of concept" that the original just didn't fully flesh out. I don't like the new rodeo/battery aka less shield part and how north star flying is a sitting duck but I'll adapt.

    Not exactly a 10 but all these Russian trolls reminds me of CoH2. You lost a ton of people in the war against the mechs. Get over it Ivan.

    is it a better shooter? yes Is it titanfall? no The game just lacks the atmosphere of the original the nice setpieces the music cheesy com links . Also the gameplay is noticably slower placed than it used to be so overal u could say the game became much more like cod instead something else and special like the original was

    I never would of thought that Titanfall 2 would be my game of the year, but it's looking likely. Amazing single player a really fun multiplayer overall a fantastic game.

    Fabulous gunplay paired with mech warrior type combat make this an excellent title for anyone interested in FPS games especially if you always wished they has more of a sci-fi bend to them.

    10 for single player campaing, 9 for multiplayer. 1 point of because of lack of maps. Very good FPS game, best of this year after Overwatch. Fast paced shooter with mech combat, whats there not to like? Only problem i have with multiplayer is the sniper class, they are pretty much useless at the moment. Perhaps could use a buff.

    I picked this up about two years after its release. I wish I bought this game much sooner. This is one of the best and most underrated games I have played in recent years. Single player campaign is fantastic (something you rarely see in games anymore). Do yourself a favor and pick up this gem.

    Epic game! So perfect mechanics and hurricane gameplay! Buy it after Battlefield1, new CoD and fully happy! Very good performance, no lags. Best FPS in 2016 year!

    First of, people who give the score 0, dont know what 0 means. 0 should only be given if the game was never released or if by playing the game it made you into a serial criminal offender of some sort.     Now for the review: This is a great game, a really great game!. My only negative points for this game are:
    1: sadly a low multiplayer base, but it´s on a slow incline because of the great reviews and the replayability and the fact that there are no season pass or DLC´s to waste your money afterwards is slowly getting thru to people. oh, and also the free-2-play weekends.
    2: a friggin amazing but a little too short SinglePlayer. (but it´s sure replayable)

    Otherwise, this is an amazing game that you should not hesitate buying!    … Expand

    I played Titan Fall 2, CoD: Infinite Warfare and Battlefield 1 this month.
    TF2 is the best in campaign and multiplayer both. Very quick, various gameplay!
    And, this level in campaign with the time-switching thing.... well... it is the best level I have ever played!

    Do not understand all these negative reviews. Can only believe it is some sort of troll. The single player campaign so far is fantastic, plays out well and really smooth. Great story line to make you feel engaged. The multiplayer is fast pace, well balanced maps. Really is a great game.

    This is to counteract the troll reviews. Game is great fun, like the first game which had the gameplay mechanics locked but now with more content.
    Titans have more weapons, more cool weapons and grappling hook add alot.

    If you liked Titanfall 1, then Titanfall 2 offers all that and more. Really pleased so far. I'm almost the campaign, and between that and the multi i'm going to be spending lots of time here.

    This is game is fantastically well executed . You will have fun all the way through the campaign the multiplayer the high paced combat , the amazing feeling when you call down your titan and smash people. Everything is just really well polished. I felt satisfied with every aspect of this game so please don't hesitate to buy it, you'll love it !

    The best game I played in years. Respawn fixed all things that annoyed me on the first title, also they didn't add some sh*t from Call of Duty or Battlefield titles. Furthermore no season pass and free life time support for such a game a a huge plus.

    The material shortcoming is the number of players allowed in MP matches. 6v6 or 12-person free for all are as chaotic as it gets. Hardpoint helps to draw the action to limited areas of the map. But even so, there's a little too much running in silence during matches to maintain the excitement levels this game otherwise deserves.

The "lack" of customisation that the original titanfall had has been made redundant since Titanfall 2 features a lot of customisation options such as pilot camo, gender and weapon camo, Titan's now have camos and war paint to unlock. Titanfall still feels as fast as ever for me and anyone saying that "oh it's the maps that make it hard to chain jumps" is just bad at the game. The lack of gun variety in Titanfall has been answered with multiple new weapons in different categories which can be unlocked and heavily customised. However when it comes to titan weapon customisation they took 1 step foward but 2 steps backwards. This is because there are now around 6/7 different titans to choose from, each working in their own way. However unlike the original titanfall you can no longer choose which weapon your titan will be equipped with. Also the first person animations for entering/exiting titans was removed and that is just dumb to be removed.

    Also the smart pistol was removed from multiplayer so that's fantastic.    … Expand

    This game is masterfully made, original in it's execution and fascinatingly well tuned for FPS lovers. Games like this are rare, and need to be celebrated. Enjoy this one, it's a keeper.

    Exceptionally good, very varied, single player campaign. Multiplayer feels like a fantastic combination on Unreal Tournament, the original Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and Mechwarrior. I really hope this game gets some traction, despite EA's seemingly bizarre decision to release it during an incredibly congested time for multiplayer FPSs. It really does deserve your time.

    I'm baffled too at some of the negative reviews. Loving this game so far. The campaign is awesome, getting steady 60 FPS on High/Ultra settings with a GTX970 FTW, Asus X99 MB, i7-5930K not O/C'd. I'm very happy with this purchase. I'm going to hit the MP tonight.

    one of the best campaigns I've played in years, my only wish was that there was more of it. game play is smooth, fun and never boring. the platforming sections a great break from the intense combat. and so far multiplayer has tons to do with loads of different game types. game is a must have title this year.

    awesome game , short but BOMBASTIC campaign

    the MP is another story , so good so fast and so much fun , it doesn't lag your attention with big maps that requires lots and lots of running to get to the action zone

    Man this was one ride of a campaign. Titanfall 2 tries things which I've never seen in any other game before. Even if you are a mp only guy, and I admit the lift level is a bit too stretched you should definitely play the story.

    This game is everything the first one should have been. There is a (very good, albeit a tad short) campaign, and far more depth to the multiplayer component. The gameplay and gunplay are even a little more satisfying than the first as well. If you liked CoD4/MW2, this game is a no brainer.

    Love the game, wish it had a bigger launch and wasnt screwed over by BF1 releasing on the same day! The multiplayer and singleplayer is amazingly fun, and I can't wait to see what they add later in the games life!

    The Online base as increased like crazy and it's only getting better, in PC, it's now 3 times what it was from Last week.

Attrition is very cool, the minions get stronger as the game progesses.

    The game runs unexpectedly smooth on my pc (I5 3750k, GTX 970, DDR3 16GB) even on maximum settings. The graphics are very nice. Models and animations are clear and the game has the correct coloration in my opinion. Colors are neither too oversaturated nor to grey/black/white.

    The weapons feel all great to use. There are some spray and pray weapons (assault rifles and smgs) but also some more rewarding ones like G2A5 Rifle, snipers(relatively hard to do because of the game pace) or pistols. The upgrades and perks for the weapons are good, versatible and dont make them overpowered over time. It's great that you can level and customize every single weapon in the game. You can even apply unique skins for each weapon and the variety is vast. Luckily there are no ridicously OP weapons in the game, so the balancing is very good. What's sad is the fact that you cant equip a sidearm+ Anti-Titan weapon. The Tactical Abilities are just great. Grappling hook is just badass to increase your movement speed around the map even more. And ofc the included a mechanic to hook and enemy Pilot and kick him in the face. This is just awesome. The removed the burn card feature which i did not like anyway that much. Instead you get a boost as soon as it charges up ingame. Some of the boost are a nice addition though not overpowered like some kills streaks in Call of kiddieland. Others are just weird like Holo Nova.

    The very best improvement are the different kinds of Titans. In Titanfall 1 you had 3 "types". The only thing the differentiate from one another was the amount of dash charges, the execution animation and the health amount. The weapons were all generic and for every Titan type the same. In Titanfall 2 they introduced 6 completely different Titans with different Abilities, Health, Speed, Weapons, Models, Animations and playstyle. I really like the introduction of this moba style elements in a shooter. You even have to think about which Titan you take for eventual countering the opponents one. Ofc the Titans are can be customized individually! The balancing is good whereas some Titans are easy to play like Tone or harder like Ronin but thats great for beginners and advanced players. The Titacombat feels great, it is a variety of tactical shooting in some sort of Frontline or just punshing the enemies Titans face and fire your whole Arsenal.

    I really liked the maps in Titanfall 1 and so in Titanfall 2. There is no **** map which can be easily dominated by either Titans or Pilots. So the balancing concerning the maps is good. The art and design variety of the maps is also good.

    The campaign is really good. The story is not that refreshing but it's decent. The bond of Jack Cooper and BT was just cool and even emotionally. The level design is really great and fresh. It's a nice mixture of shooting, Titan fighting, parcouring. I really enjoyed playing this campaign. I really wished i would have been a little longer because it was so well done.

    TLDR: Overall Titanfall 2 is a "MUST" play game.Campaign is great, Movement is great, weapons and customziation is great, Titan variety is great, maps, combat and balancing is very good. I played many shooters in my life but i can say that this game is the BEST Shooter i have ever played and i had the most fun with. Even DLC packs for the future and no stupid Season Pass is required.    … Expand

    Well now there is a chance for the new generation of gamers to get it all, get a casualized enough game to feel very playable, yet still retain the movement and aim critical mechanics of the old competitive FPS, the LAN generation!

    Titanfall 2 Campaign is nice, but Titanfall never was about singleplayer and never should be, infact the first Titanfall was just fine in this regard.. It is the absolute diamond multiplayer that makes the difference.

    Now Titanfall 2 is not perfect and the developers commitment remains to be seen, but in comparison to other leaders of the FPS genre, Casual (Overwatch), Themed (Battlefield 1), Competitive (CS).. Titanfall 2 is absolute 10.

    So grab a friend or two, and check out the Titanfall 2. Give your money to a developer that is trying to break your generation free from the curse of the modern shooter.

    On top of everything else, there are no required paid DLC, no micro-transactions..

    Multiplayer on a truly competitive fast-paced game like this can get frustrating at first, coming from other types of games. But this game is casualized just enough to give you ample chances to learn it and improve yourself, the weapons are made so that you can increase your risk-reward further to learn more efficient but harder to control weapons and play-styles.

    This year has been great on games, You all have your favorites to spend your money on, but now those are out and if you are looking to pick up a new game to play alone or especially with friends, Titanfall 2 is a solid choice.    … Expand

    Recomendado. Cuenta con una buena campaña, no es extensa pero si intensa. Además el multijugador es adictivo, espectacular y variado. Siempre hay una situación diferente. Además para subir de nivel se deben cumplir ciertos objetivos. Las opciones de personalización son múltiples y la cantidad de armas es notable.

    Recomiendo este videojuego.

    Releasing at the same time as BF1 probably wasn't the best idea EA, plus your competing with COD your biggest competitor all at the same time. But then again maybe your just trying to suck everything you can from the COD player base and I hope it works.

    Multiplayer is fantastically fun and its amazing they are releasing DLC for free keeping the community together rather than separating them by purchased and non-purchases maps. Honestly this is how it should be done rather than trying to suck every penny out of the player... Season passes, $120 for the "full game", some extra maps, characters, maybe a gold colored gun, and items that end up giving you a slight advantage "pay to win," yea that concept is pure greed.

    Single-player campaign is short but extremely exciting and fun to play. Titan piloting feels excellent. Multiplayer is also very good. Good pace, good control. Just buy the game. It is underplayed due to the bad release date. We need more players.

    This Game is criminally underrated. Not only is it an amazing PC port but the campaign is a step above its competition. The only downside to this game is not a fault of the game, but the choice to release it in between Battlefield 1 and Call Of Duty. This resulted in lowered sales that is no fault of the game itself. The only downside to this game is not a fault of the game, but the choice to release it in between Battlefield 1 and Call Of Duty. This resulted in lowered sales that is no fault of the game itself. That being said this does effect the multiplayer since less people are online then should be. It is still easy to find a match and should not be overlooked.     One of my favorite games ever. I would have bought this just for the story/campaign itself. With also a pretty well made multiplayer. This is a MUST BUY if you are into fps's and a really damn good story.

    Overall very good game with good campaign. Campaign is only 6hours but its very good. Multiplayer is balanced very well and its very fun to controllor your own titan. 10/10

    I love this game. Normally I don't play fps games but this one got me back into the genre. I noticed right from the start that they had a huge revamp over the original. Is it a perfect game? No there never is. Is it a huge improvement on everything that came before it? Oh yeah for sure!     This is one of the best shooter campaign that has been made it may be doesn't have the deepest story but it has some of the best gameplay. I have played in a single player FPS.

    I really enjoyed this game. Has a great story, it's campaign didn't feel short and it's multiplayer is playable. EA shouldn't realise it shortly after BattleField 1, dunno why the did that. Bought it for 40 US/EU and it totally worths it.
    A must play, hope we will see a sequel.

The game EA made right, and the saddest thing is the low player base, with **** games such as COD and other kind of BS, no one even gives a chance to Titanfall, one time EA does something right, and no one gives it credit, so they go back to making **** games and people buy them more than they buy the good ones.

    How shall I describe this game? A fast jumper-shooter where you play the pilot of a mecha.
    Both the pilot and mecha fights are fun. I had a blast playing the solo.
    Graphics, music, effects : all good.
    Note that the "Hard" mode is on the easy side, so don't try anything below that.

    I've only tried the multi a bit so I cannot really judge it except it felt a bit laggy with my 45ms ping.

    Best fps of the generation, perfect!

    The campaign of the game is excellent, although it is a little short, the gameplay to the factor Titan's are very well applied, technically speaking the game has a competent visual, a wraparound atmosphere and well worked maps, I also highlight the multiplayer modes where frontier defense and Exhaustion shine.

    I'm only going to review the campaign as I am not a multiplayer person. This is the best 1st person shooter since Wolfenstein New Order. Although the story is not mind-blowing, the relationship between the pilot and the mech is fun and sometimes moving. The pacing is great --just when you're about to maybe get bored they change it up. It's short and sweet A+

    This is one of the best games I ever played. Good campaign and awesome multiplayer. The maps are great, the pilot skills are great, and the titans are great. I love this game so much.

    how could i start, well this game is just awesome. You feel good when you re flying across the map and the only thing that i have to say that is negative is that EA killed it and its now pretty underrated.
    So if you consider buying this game, well do and enjoy

    The multiplayer is pretty dead at this point, there is barely anyone playing. So can't say much about it. But the single player is definitely worth the price of admission.     The campaing is great. It reminds me like a mix of Mirror's Edge and Half-Life. There are none or almost none cutscens, almost none script sequences. No hand holding nor "taking control away" sequences - just like Half-Life. Also it has some jumping and climbing passages that remembers me to Mirror's Edge a bit. Not the running away passages but the puzzling passages. The weapons are fun and feel forceful enough. The mechas are massive (the game almost always allows you to decide wether you wanna use your mecha or walk outside, also, despite being linear it gives you enough alternative routes where you can choose from, similar to Mirror's Edge).

    The keyboard and mouse controls are perfect, gameplay is seemless, gunplay and movement superb, albeit not as superb as Mirror's Edge's movement.

    The sound effects, graphics, animations. Perfect.

    It is a first person shooter with the same game design philosophy like Half-Life, SOMA or Mirror's Edge. Immersion, Gameplay, Flow and Pacing is a word for those devs and they respect and understand it.    … Expand

    By addressing the biggest criticisms of the first game, Respawn has managed to improve an already great shooter. Fast-paced, electric single-player campaign along with a full-featured multiplayer has made Titanfall 2 a must play for shooter fans.
