    Titan Fall 2 single player campaign is fun and enjoyable. Multiplayer is broken beyond all. the player base is incredibly small. this effects matchmaking so that newer players are pitted against players who have leveled through the ranks multiple times, so skill levels are highly unbalanced. joining a multiplayer game by yourself seems to balance (seems to, but not really) joining as groupTitan Fall 2 single player campaign is fun and enjoyable.     As a huge fan of the original Titanfall, unfortunately I physically despise this game to the point that it makes me feel sick. The multiplayer is already extremely low population and the people who are there have already levelled up so many times that newcomers don't stand a chance. The controls are clumsy, the visuals are dull and the soundtrack isn't a patch on the first one. The fact that it has a campaign is a slight bonus but that is only going to occupy you for a few hours.

    It is on occasions like this that I really wish PC players weren't permanently tied into their game purchases. If I had this on console then it would be on its way to the trade in store already but sadly I own it on Origin and purchased a boxed copy from Amazon so I'm stuck with it ever. A huge disappointment and not a purchase that I would recommend to anybody.    … Expand

    Played the first TF was a great Multiplayer experience but this is pure **** **** So many cheaters full auto weapons which kills you nearly instant, the maps are **** **** you can´t use the parkour elements like in the first TF. Now you have to jump on them and pull the battery out. But they arent dead after that so you have to jump on them again and throw a nade in the battery case no problem. But you have to do that **** 3 or 4 times until the titan is dead who the **** had this idea ? So ok well maybe its possible to do that if the maps are balanced so that you can hide and jump on it but that isn´t the case. So mostly you are in an open area and you pulled the battery ou´t and try to jump on the titan again but he sees you because you have nothing to hide at and year well he kills you instant. Great balancing and totaly fair.

    The campaign is great, but its only 4 hours long. The meat of the game is multiplayer and frankly its **** awful. I just found out I have a 5.2 player vs player K/D, so I am very good at the multiplayer. That doesn't stop it from being bad. As soon as two players of similar skill face each other, it becomes pot luck of who bumps into who first while whizzing around the map since theThe campaign is great, but its only 4 hours long. Even the best player in the world won't be able to go on more than a 2 kill streak against even terrible players in 1v1s because there is no shield and no health pickups, so every little scratch is permanent damage.    … Expand

Nope, Respawn decides where and who you'll play with for you, because you aren't smart enough to do that yourself. The PC now represents 3% of COD's sales because of garbage like that. No wonder the game didn't sell; anyone who bought Titanfall 1 would have known about the console style matchmaking, and steered clear.    … Expand

    Very secondary to the first Titanfall, with no new ideas, no original concepts, bad design, mediocre gameplay, dull maps, grey colors, and almost the same graphics as its predcessor, Titanfall 2 makes the perfect example of the failed sequel that can be sold for $50 to the hungry over hyped crowd of nerds.

    The campaign is good, however, the multiplayer is absolutely, utterly dreadful. Horrible balance issues, especially in regards to the titans, horrible elements implemented from other genres that do not mesh well with FPS games at all, namely MOBAs, and just generally bad decisions plague the experience.     The campaign is good, however, the multiplayer is absolutely, utterly dreadful. Horrible balance issues, especially in regards to the titans, horrible elements implemented from other genres that do not mesh well with FPS games at all, namely MOBAs, and just generally bad decisions plague the experience. The meta of the core game mode, Attrition, is kill mindless AI grunts and avoid other players at all costs, use the points earned from killing grunts to drop your titan, effectively a state wherein you can kill anyone from across half the map and take a good 30 seconds of firing at to take down, uninterrupted, and farm every other player in the server until they assuredly aren't having fun, and win. It has the absolute worst balance between players playing for a quick jerk off of fun and players looking to express some amount of skill. It is simply not fun to play against others. There are few exceptions when it comes to the games, namely in things like PvP without titans or grunts, but they are extremely far and few between; especially when someone would rather use the smart pistol or cold war or melee, weapons and abilities that require expressly and extremely low levels of player interaction in terms of aiming and position to perform well with.

    My advice to Respawn, although is just one perspective, would be to go back to the Titanfall 1 titans, melee should hurt for half health instead of insta kill, remove the smart pistol or rework it from the ground up, rework weapons that reward spam instead of something interesting or fun, and tone down the MOBA elements like in Titanfall 1.    … Expand

    Awesome game.

    Too bad cheating and maphacking is so rampant that at least 1 person in every multiplayer you face will be seeing you through all the walls and planning their moves accordingly.

    They took everything out of the first Titanfall that made it special. Pilot customization is still present, but Titan customization has been completely nuked. You are pigeonholed into playing 1 of 6 Titans with set bodytypes, movesets, and weapons. Out of the 6, only 2 are any good, and are all you will play or see on the field. The rodeo mechanic in which an enemy pilot mounts a Titan to damage it has been incoherently simplified to "jump on and automatically pull a battery", though there is no reason to ever do this as Titans are so weak a pilot can easily dispatch them with secondary weapons from cover.

    An example of the incoherence of the new Titan paradigm is the pre-fab Titan "Ronin". Ronin has the least health of the Titans and is equipped with a sword and shotgun. All play with Ronin must therefore be close range. The shotgun is largely ineffective due to its low magazine capacity, and the sword does no more damage than any other Titan's default melee attack. It is ineffective on attack, and has low survivability. Coincidentally, you almost never see it on the field.

    In short, the super advanced bi-pedal tank machines which give the game its name feel underpowered. Your choice of body type, weapon, utility abilities, and therefore preferred playstyle are gone. Again, this doesn't matter as your Titan is so weak you will not be in it for long.    … Expand

    I loved the first titanfall and played it to death - there seemed to be a better balance in guns - now youre a freaking moron if you pick a sniper or anything else than SMG's and the Devotion LMG. The melee attack has a frustrating lockon mechanism that makes it feel supercheap whenever you have a close duel with someone that just pushes F and then instantly wins over you.

    TL;DR: This game is a SERIOUS step down from the first Titanfall, it feels less fluid in its parkour, it feels cheap and unbalanced in its weapons and the titans which are now hero archetypes really stink aswell, since theres really only 2 titans that get played since theyre so OP.

    The multiplayer is wasted opportunity. TF1 is still for me one of the best futuristic shooters and the best shooter with mechs. TF2 is COD with mechs. It is too fast, too casual, everybody is spraying all the time, the only skill is to shoot first and at the end i feel a bad taste in the mouth after playing the game.     The campaign was great but it was short as balls. Multiplayer isn't interesting enough to play many games and laggs alot. Graphics are really fuzzy no matter what options you use.

    After the campaign is finished you only have the MP.
    - multiplayer is fast paced (read hectic).
    - plenty of weapons to chose from (whit no real difference between them)
    - plethora of skins for pilots and titans, but not many models.
    - HITBOX is the size of Pentagon. Check the kill cams on YouTube game-play videos. Basically you shoot left, and you kill right. It may work well for you, but works just as well for the enemy.

    I bought Titanfall and Titanfall2. I will not buy any Titanfall games, but i would buy a game from Relic Entertainment, provide it is not multiplayer based. They failed me twice, not going to try one of their MP recipes again.    … Expand

    Worthless tacked on campaign, it's boring, lifeless and incredibly repetitive. Multiplayer is painfully similar to Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, they've even made mechs far weaker and the pilots movement slower and more clunky meaning it feels far more like CoD than the first game did.

    Waste of money and an absolute regret buying this.

This game just makes you move like a turtle compared to the first one. All of these people saying how "fast" it is obviously never played the first one, or just plain sucked at it.     You can only carry 2 guns, a primary and a secondary and a primary or a titan weapon... ridiculous

    Crazy good game. Pace is really fast and there's really nothing to complain about, since it also released on Steam. I think the community will still grow more over the coming months and years.

    This is the game that I love the most. It has awesome mechanics, excellent story and a fun multiplayer. The only downside is that EA detains the franchise and can't work it to the fullest, to create that possible masterpiece.

    By addressing the biggest criticisms of the first game, Respawn has managed to improve an already great shooter. Fast-paced, electric single-player campaign along with a full-featured multiplayer has made Titanfall 2 a must play for shooter fans.

    The 2nd installment of the Titanfall series continues down the right path yet again. It is truly one of the best First Person Shooters of this generation.
