Aug 19, 2022Good game. A souls-like experience with a great setting and cool mechanics. can't wait to see what the developers make in the future ! Recommended !

Aug 26, 2022It's a (very) poor man's Bloodborne. There are much better alternatives on the PC such as MORTAL SHELL or LORDS OF THE FALLEN. Thymesia is just an exercise in mediocrity: mediocre presentation (with absolutely no voice acting whatsoever), mediocre story, mediocre atmosphere, mediocre levels and mediocre enemy design. Why bother?

Aug 21, 2022Combat is fun and rewarding; reave in particular is a very nice system that separates it from other Souls-like titles.
Is it as good as Bloodborne? No, absolutely no way but given that the game was made by indie devs that are famed for the Worms series back in the 90s and early 00s, they've come a very long way and should be proud of this cult gem. -
Nov 17, 2022Probably the weakest Souls Like game I've played lately. It was not very interesting to explore the world of the game. The situation was saved only - good fights and a short duration of the game.

Aug 28, 2023Very good game. I enjoyed playing this game a lot. I strongly recommend this.

Jul 2, 2023Everything is mediocre in this game. Soundtracks are dull, the lore is boring and basically non-existent ( just few text there and there which explains...nothing, not even cutscenes, most of phantom weapons are useless, very limited interactions between the only two characters in this game.....and is brief too

Sep 24, 2022Not worth the time.... A lot of the level design is confusing as hell......

Sep 4, 2022Very nice Souls-like game! Not too hard for the newcomers. Not perfect, but ok
-
Sep 5, 2022Overall a really good action game, that finnally fuse the Souls-like mechanics, at Sekiro ones.
Pretty fun to play, very scenic and pretty well optimized. I suggest to give this little masterpiece a try -
Oct 28, 2022good game. a little iffy parry mechanic but its okay, not very good level design but i must say combat is MORE FUN than dark souls and sekiro to me. way more viable options and cool stuff to do, very nice!

Feb 6, 2023In my opinion the perfect Soulslike. The combination of new ideas (white and green bar, weapons, talent tree) and good old mechanics (deflect and dodge) make it really fun. It‘s fast pace, it‘s extremely hard. Bosses are designed nicely, graphics are great. Hope there will come more!

May 29, 2023I state that I like linear games but the scenarios are repetitive and boring, little variety of bots, and the combat didn't excite me, even the movement seemed a bit back in time

Jul 29, 2023It's a good game. In fact, one of the best 3D soul battlers I've ever played (not from From Software).
It has a good combat system, an interesting pumping system. Also, the bosses in this game are quite interesting and unique in some way. Of course, it's not the second Bloodborne, but it's a good game.

Feb 13, 2023If you’re a veteran of soulslike games, you’ll find Thymesia enjoyable, yet frustrating at times due to some unfair mechanics. Unfortunately, this is not a welcoming game for newcomers to the genre, so you’ll want to skip this one if you’re finding games like Sekiro and Bloodborne too difficult.

Oct 24, 2022Thymesia is a nice diversion - something that can keep you occupied until the next great soulsborne game gets released. That is its curse. It's a good game, with fast and enjoyable action, but lacks the immersive story and atmosphere, as well as the quality of level design and combat finesse that is expected from such titles.

Oct 22, 2022OverBorder Studio is probably capable of creating a rival to Sekiro, but their first game is just an experimental try.
