Sep 7, 2023theHunter: Call of the Wild is a fun hunting simulator game with beautiful environment, different gun options/items and really strong animals. I shot deer 4 times and that deer ran away with low bleeding. I'm still looking for her.

Jul 3, 2023Waste of time. The game wouldn't run without turning off firewall, that's your first red flag. The game lacks any meaningful content and it's overall just a walking simulator with occasional gunplay that is almost as fun as any game your average scratch game from a kid's summer camp.

Mar 21, 2023The developer has no much intention to improve the game, rarely adding new animals now.
The animal models are as accurate as those of the way of the hunter. The animal behaviours are bad.
And very hard to use rifles to kill a cape buffallo, no matter which rifle you use. -

Mar 1, 2023A pointless game where you spend 60 minutes of your life and crawl on the ground, looking for an animal, where the animal bleeds very little no matter where you hit it, and the animals run at 100 km per hour.

Mar 12, 2022Devs should fix their game instead of joining political flashmob. Closing purchases of your products for people of Belarus and Russia is antidemocratic and should be punished.

Feb 26, 2019This game has only weak point: The animal A.I. system. Not realistic.
Graphics: very good
Sounds: very good
Music: bad
Control: good
Performance: good (you get more fps if you start the game, and set to low graphics in auto presets, and then you put the graphics to ultra in manual.) from 30 to 42 fps! You need to do this any time when you start the game. -

Nov 29, 2018This is a perfect hunting game. It's a perfect balance between simulation and gamification. Captures the appeal of hunting very well.
If you aren't very interested in hunting to begin with, no doubt you will find this game boring. If you like hunting or have a strong interest in it, this is a nearly flawless game to scratch that itch.
I return to this game time and again over the years. -
Jun 16, 2018Beautiful scenery and a truly amazing hunting experience. Though slow paced, it delivers everything that a hunting simulator needs. If you're into fast paced, ultra action overkill look somewhere else, but if you want what this game promises you won't be disappointed.

Nov 26, 2017theHunter: Call of the Wild clearly provides with a realistic feel of hunting. Seasoned hunters would adore it, but it may push away casual players.

Nov 15, 2017A hunting simulator that looks great and is fun? Time for a Jagermeister!

Jun 2, 2017In the end, theHunter: Call of the Wild is a more defined niche game in what is already a niche category. There isn't much appeal for hunting games to begin with, and an even smaller group wants a hunting simulator, especially when there is already a free-to-play version. However, this is a game that requires patience for both the hunting process and the bugs that come along with it. If you can live with that, and you're lucky enough to get a friend or two to join in, then you'll find the game to be a good time. Otherwise, try out the free-to-play version to see if this pacing is right for you.
