    I'm a sucker for fantasy stories, so of course The Witcher games are right up my alley. I'll admit I haven't played both major paths of the game, but the one path is chose felt complete and very satisfactory, and it still took me over 25 hours to complete with most side quests. The combat really was its downfall, but the story more than made up for it. Overall, a very enjoyable RPG forI'm a sucker for fantasy stories, so of course The Witcher games are right up my alley. I'll admit I haven't played both major paths of the game, but the one path is chose felt complete and very satisfactory, and it still took me over 25 hours to complete with most side quests. The combat really was its downfall, but the story more than made up for it. Overall, a very enjoyable RPG for those who enjoy story heavy games.… Expand

    Geralt, meanwhile, tortured by terrible migraines, accompanied by scraps of some memories. So instead of cutting off the head killer at the first opportunity, he listens carefully to his tales of his amnesia, makes a complex face and several times allows the enemy of the state to slip away from public execution. The story of the second "Witcher" is two parallel developing stories: the first is the persecution of the true murderer of King Foltest; the second is the search for grains of lost memory. Both lines during the game are curled by amusing sinusoids, periodically then flashing, then diverge in different directions. The action is accompanied by erotic scenes with the participation of the sorceress Triss Merigold, and on the background a feudal war with racist overtones unfolds: elves and redskins (as the gnomes are called here) are persecuted by the state, and insurgents live in the forests. The player, like in the first part, periodically put before the choice - to help minorities or support the representatives of the official authorities. The rod of the Witcher is a pathetic plot, an orchestral soundtrack and a general scale of the disaster, in which destinies are decided at the state level. These things make the game almost a Hollywood blockbuster, which would gladly fall under the director's scalpel, for example, Peter Jackson, and would become an excellent film. Here, wonderful dialogues, colorful characters and swift rhythms, pouring out a ton of events per user per time. Sometimes the game jumps above its own head: while the protagonists take birth in prostitutes, they show us what is happening in parallel with this somewhere else, and even give us a completely outsider character. Responsibility for the consequences, therefore, lies not only on Geralt, but also on the other participants in the play who, with the light hand of an irresponsible player blurting out something out of the ordinary, can turn the course of events into a completely unpredictable channel. But, despite the fact that the plot of the new "Witcher" is largely connected with politics, and Geralt spends time in the company of kings, trying to save them from fate, the game does not forget about the main work of the hero - the extermination of monsters. All the plot tasks, one way or another, are based on the destruction of some multi-armed headless creature or the removal of ancient curses - which, in general, involves fighting against any otherworldly bastard. Unlike the first part, in the new game, the algorithms for hunting monsters are implemented much more democratically. Here, detailed blending with magical fragrant oils, the manufacture of elixirs and new outfits are optional facultative. The use of witcher's alcoholic tinctures will make your life easier, but nothing will change radically, so instead of exhausting the collection of herbs for another extreme cocktail, you can relax and pay all attention to the development of history. All the so-called "hardcore" component of the game with the concoction of magic soup from products with unpronounceable names is neatly removed from the main campaign. Unlike most modern role-playing games, "The Witcher 2" does not take you by the handle to the most spectacular places, and you must be prepared for the fact that during the execution of some side task you can get into a situation when Geralt tears the sudden group monsters. Just like in the old-school games: some locations should be avoided until a certain level and corresponding fencing or witchcraft skills are obtained.     Геральт будет путешествовать по 3 локациям, контента стало больше, игра стала разнообразнее.
    Очень понравился момент с выбором стороны это добавляет реиграбельности. В целом именно во второй части CDprojekt оформился как производитель ААА тайтлов, пусть и    Продолжение истории о Геральте из Ривии, но этот раз повествуется о событиях через пару месяцев после окончания мятежа в 1 части.

    Связываю это с трудностями первого опыта портирования на консоли.
    Многие ругают игры за плохой дизайн локаций и отсутствие качественного продюссирования.

    The Witcher es una de las mejores sagas de la historia de los videojuegos, como Geralt de Rivia es uno de sus iconos por méritos propios. Puede que si no tienes edad para haber jugado al primer capítulo en su momento, puede que te haya sorprendido negativamente su imagen final, pero sin duda es un juego que merece la pena intentar jugar, si te gustaron los dos anteriores.. AlgúnThe Witcher es una de las mejores sagas de la historia de los videojuegos, como Geralt de Rivia es uno de sus iconos por méritos propios. Puede que si no tienes edad para haber jugado al primer capítulo en su momento, puede que te haya sorprendido negativamente su imagen final, pero sin duda es un juego que merece la pena intentar jugar, si te gustaron los dos anteriores.. Algún despistado, lo ha llegado a ningunear al compararlo con la tercera parte de la entrega, lo cual es de una falta de perspectiva alarmante. Cada uno de estos tres juegos ha tenido su momento, y en cada uno de ellos han sido juegos que han estado a la altura de este personaje y sus aventuras.     Lo jugué despues del The Witcher 3 y tal vez ese haya sido el problema. Graficamante es bastante potente para la época pero se notan las carencias. Es el tipico mundo abierto simplon de ir haciendo recados, de correrte el mapa de punta a punta. La historia es muy buena, a la altura de The Witcher al igual que los personajes aunque a estos ultimos les falta "vida". El doblaje y el mapa sonLo jugué despues del The Witcher 3 y tal vez ese haya sido el problema. Graficamante es bastante potente para la época pero se notan las carencias. Es el tipico mundo abierto simplon de ir haciendo recados, de correrte el mapa de punta a punta. La historia es muy buena, a la altura de The Witcher al igual que los personajes aunque a estos ultimos les falta "vida". El doblaje y el mapa son realmente excelentes, aunque el mapa puede hacerse pesado por eso de ir recorriendolo constantemente. Las misiones no estan tan desarrolladas como en The Witcher 3 pero ya apunta claramente el estilo.

    La musica y el sonido no son tan espectaculares y el combate deja bastante que desear. Los menus son bastante complejos y los controles nada intuitivos. Algunas misiones secundarias estan bastante bien pero los contratos son repetitivos e innecesarios. No hay variedad de enemigos y hay jefes que puedes matar con tan solo apretar rapido el boton de ataque. Es bastante lineal hasta para la epoca y nada intuitivo.    … Expand

    First of all, I want to say this. I have never played RPG games until now. Witcher 2 is probably my first RPG game. I finished the game 4 hours ago, and and I can definitely say this game, is very good.

    Combat system is stunning. Mixing sorcery with sword play, dodging, blocking. Storyline is perfect, it absorbs the person. Voice actors are great.     Witcher 2 has great storyline, memorable characters, well-written dialogues, outstanding soundtrack and overall it's one of the most immersive games of it's time.

    However, apart from the great universe and its lore (mostly the work of Andrzej Sapkowski), Witcher 2 is not that good game from the gameplay perspective.     После прохождения первой части Ведьмака, я сразу же захотел пройти вторую, но здесь возникли некоторые трудности (40 fps на самых низких настройках) и я как-то забил на это дело.
    Меньше чем через неделю я всё таки решился её проходить несмотря на производительность моего компьютера.
    И в этот раз я залип, в самый первый день прохождения я наиграл 13 часов и просто не мог оторваться,    После прохождения первой части Ведьмака, я сразу же захотел пройти вторую, но здесь возникли некоторые трудности (40 fps на самых низких настройках) и я как-то забил на это дело.
    Меньше чем через неделю я всё таки решился её проходить несмотря на производительность моего компьютера.
    И в этот раз я залип, в самый первый день прохождения я наиграл 13 часов и просто не мог оторваться, каждый день я задр*чивал минимум по 6 часов и вот, спустя неделю я получил все достижения в этой игре.
    Игра просто великолепная. Да, короткий сюжет, да быстро проходится, ну и что? Проходи снова и снова, ведь в игре 5 сложностей и 16 концовок ( если верить описанию). Вообщем перейду сразу к плюсам.
    + Графика ( после первой это просто отрыв башки)
    + Кастомизация ( Можно поменять и сапоги и перчатки и штаны и верхнюю одежду и даже прическу)
    + Разнообразное оружие ( Топоры, лопаты, мечи, дубинки и т.д.)
    + Много второстепенных квестов, которые кстати интересные и могут принести довольно много оренов и улучшений Геральта
    + Секас можно делать ( Трисс, Бьянка, бордельные обитательницы)
    + Интересные персонажи со своими историями и заморочками, которые могут дать вам квесты
    + Проработанный открытый мир
    + Много шуток и смешных поговорок, также есть песни и загадки
    + Можно подраться с кулачными бойцами, побороться на руках и покидать кости
    Из минусов:
    - Нельзя напиваться ( любил в первой части набухаться и пойти бродить по улицам, здесь такого сделать нельзя)
    - Нет Плотвы ( так надеялся покататься на лошади, но увы)
    - Геральт не умеет быстро бегать, он либо ходит либо перекатывается, поэтому приходилось качать перекаты на 200%
    В целом Ведьмак 2 для тех, кому надоело перепроходить первого, а третий не тянет ( как в моём случае, собственно).    … Expand

    Witcher 2 is much better looking than its predecessor, the story is very complex and can go in many different paths, and the characters are great, but because of that the game was made pretty short. If you play two or three times to see more endings it's a full length game.

    Después de jugarlo en su momento, un año o dos después de su salida, fue el primer juego de la saga The Witcher que jugué y a pesar de ser tosco y difícil para mí en aquel momento me gusto mucho su trama y lo que podía llegar a ser su sistema de combate en The witcher 3.

    A día de hoy he jugado y completado al 100% esta segunda parte y solo puedo decir que me ha encantado aún más, es    Después de jugarlo en su momento, un año o dos después de su salida, fue el primer juego de la saga The Witcher que jugué y a pesar de ser tosco y difícil para mí en aquel momento me gusto mucho su trama y lo que podía llegar a ser su sistema de combate en The witcher 3.

    A día de hoy he jugado y completado al 100% esta segunda parte y solo puedo decir que me ha encantado aún más, es cierto que el juego en ciertas cosas es tosco y se hace difícil y que muchas veces no te facilita nada, ya que te explica lo suficiente para continuar y poco más, pero ahora habiendo jugado a muchos títulos del genero, habiendo jugado a The witcher 3 y controlar mucho más de RPGS, he de decir que esta segunda entrega esta entre mis favoritas de los RPGS.

    Tiene decisiones que repercuten en este título y en el siguiente, decisiones que en este título cambian completamente tu run, ya que literalmente este título son como dos juegos. Según el camino que elijas vas a jugar una historia o otra, con otros personajes, ciudades, misiones y no es a pequeña escala, es completamente de locos lo que cambia según el camino y las decisiones que tomes. También hay gente que ve esto como algo malo, para completarlo al 100% tendrás que hacer diversas partidas, eso es cierto, pero es tan distinto el contenido y se siente tan bien realizado que aparte del inicio, si tomas el camino contrario al que pillaste en la anterior run literalmente no vas a jugar el mismo juego, asique puedes considerarlo como una expansión o como realmente se plantea en el título: "¿Que habría pasado si hubieses elegido este camino distinto?".

    El juego esta muy bien, es más corto a cambio de muchas más opciones y cambios en todo, pero la verdad esque las secundarias, ciudades, principales, items... están bien hechos sea el bando que sea que pilles, no hay nada que este menos cuidado ni nada por el estilo.

    Buen juego, tal vez un poco difícil, pero muy buen título y buena opción para iniciarte en la saga The Witcher.    … Expand

    The great precursor to the third and final part. It might not be open world, graphics might not be as good as in Witcher 3 but we know exactly on what foundation developers made their masterpiece.

    Playing through the trilogy atm. After (barely) enduring the first game I can just say that this is where they got their **** together, totally holds up in 2020. Good graphics and very good storytelling.

    A few complaints though: - The difficulty curve. The first part of the game is very hard as your max health is extremely low. All hits taken from random peasants takes like 50%+ hp.    Playing through the trilogy atm. After (barely) enduring the first game I can just say that this is where they got their **** together, totally holds up in 2020. Good graphics and very good storytelling.

    A few complaints though:
    - The difficulty curve. The first part of the game is very hard as your max health is extremely low. All hits taken from random peasants takes like 50%+ hp. Did almost never die in the later parts.
    - Random crashes or bugs, npc's blocked me or passages at times, making me have to reload a previous save.
    - The save files is too big / inefficient, so my steam cloud storage got full for this game, so the game kept crashing before I manually deleted the saves and turned off cloud sync.

    Apart from these things, I think this game is worth your time. Specially if you're interested in the Witcher story.    … Expand

    Overall my favourite single-player RPG of all times. Just pure genius- work. No one can make so good story and detailed characters as CD-Project RED. And the fact that your decions actually matter so much makes me nerdgasm every time.

The witcher 2 is a massive improvement on the first witcher game in every aspect and after playing this game i have huge respect for cd projeckt red because they learned from their shortcomeings and listened to their fans. but dose the witcher 2 stand the test of time ? now 9 years old.

    Story: continuing from the first game somewhat unfortunately . what dose a witcher do when he is done tracking down a gang that attacked his family and the finishes off a secret order trying to kill him ? well he fights a war and engages in politics. but wait now you are top suspect in the assassination of your kings :O but wait the assassin is a witcher like you and knows who you are :O but wait this was a plot by the mages :O with an even bigger plot attached to that :O geralt's life is a mess, because of his skills and occupation he is often sucked into conflicts bigger than he is. often times he will try to remain neutral but in certain cases that's never an option.
    Story: 9.5/10

    World building: the witcher's world is dense and packed with lots of lore , every character has their place in the world and every character has logic that makes them move through it. the witcher 2 dose a better job at portraying this than the first one, i know what the mages role in the world is now and kings all of these now feel more like occupations than these things of great power. all haveing internal power struggles. the writing just gets deeper and deeper in its lore

    Graphics: now this game looks a little out of date but considering how how clunky and awkward the first game looked this one is great , the models and animation was extremely awkward though story scenes , animations in combat are better but still a tad clunky. characters are really well designed , greatly improved from the first game. the game looks almost comic booky in its style melded with a very fantasy novel cover aesthetic and that is easy to get behind

    Gameplay: this game is hard but i liked how hard it was because when you do things right you feel like a ninja witch is what i think the story needed, the combat feels more like an extension of geralt as he does have these ninja like skills , its telling the story through the game play witch is always a win and that is just a byproduct of a good combat system. just good it can definitely be improved as save points were infuriating at times and the combat did feel unfair sometimes but the difficulty made you feel all the more awesome when you did pull off the win. essentially this game is a dark souls with a more cohesive story
    Gameplay: 8.2/10

    Sound design: this is probably the most disappointing part of the witcher 2 , everything else is a vast improvement and i'd be remiss if i didn't say that the sound design wasnt improved because it certainly was but some of the voice acting was awkward at best , doug cockle as geralt improved immeasurably though . the music is good it's definitely found its style gospelic battle music and fun tavern music. the sound effects how ever got old fast for me , iv heard oh ohhhhh geralts death grunts a million times and that drove me to the point of quitting ( for the night) a few times
    Sound design: 6.2/10

    The witcher 2 is a great game and improves a great deal upon the first game especially in combat you can feel the devs finding what works for this type of game by looking at their competition and learning from them, witcher 1 feels like an out dated bioware game , witcher 2 feels like a dark souls with a better story and the witcher 3 well you will have to wait till i write a review for that one

    With amazing music composed by Adam Skorupa and Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz this is a wonderful game. Easily playable, twice! Beautiful visual design, gameplay, world, and characters.

While it garnered sales and praise at its release, it hasn't been consistently mentioned like other games from that year (Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Batman: Arkham City, Battlefield 3), which is unfortunate, because the game is really good. This game is impressive even still to this day, with some caveats, obviously.The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings was not the biggest hit back in 2011. While it garnered sales and praise at its release, it hasn't been consistently mentioned like other games from that year (Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Batman: Arkham City, Battlefield 3), which is unfortunate, because the game is really good. This game is impressive even still to this day, with some caveats, obviously. But something the game succeeds immensely with is the immersion into the world. It feels lived in and like it could exist in a real place (ignoring the magical factors). The huge trees surrounding Flotsam, the warm beaches and mountains of Aedirn, and the ravished ruins of Loc Muinne creates an inviting motion to the surroundings. The music also helps invest the player in the world, which is bombastic during battle, and hauntingly somber during conversations and slower moments. Even though the character presentation is at best decent, the environments are truly epic, which also translates to the story. The intriguing narrative is focused and ambitious, yet clever and self aware. Playing as Geralt of Rivia hunting down the assassin of King Foltest, Letho, is riveting from start to finish. The story is so good much thanks to the characters. Geralt of Rivia is an all out bad ass, while Vernon Roche is a cunning operator. Dandelion brings in comedic effect with his funny remarks and King Henselt brings in darkness with his tragic family drama. Even the side-quests have some level of depth, not always being as straight forward as you might initially think. The game is based around you the choices make, which unlike most games actually have huge impacts on the narrative. You might never see certain characters or view people differently depending on the actions of Geralt, and it helps make your actions have more weight to them. Even though the ending might occur in the same place, the journey there and the character's positions might differ hugely. The writing is immaculate and impressive, captivating the player and not making the narrative too hard to follow. The only confusing part might be character's names if you haven't played the first game, but if you read the extensive journal, you'll be quickly caught up, and stuck in the game's politics. The only big issue I have with the story is the final boss, which fizzels out disappointingly, however you choose to play. It neither feels rewarding, nor impressive, but that's solely because of the build-up to that moment (during the epilogue). But that's a small nit pick, because afterwards it feels satisfying, and worth the time to get there, it's more about the build-up to the fight. When it comes to gameplay, it's a bit of a mixed bag. All the content is existent, from responsive combat, to dialogue choices, to preparation before battles (from potions and oils), it ties in with the character of the Witcher really well. The problem arises when it comes to execution. Character's might bug to actions, your character get's stuck in the environment sometimes, and brewing portions and oils is confusing at times, much cause from the questionable user interface. Even though the game world isn't massive, it could've helped with fast travel when traversing back to main areas, or level design could've been improved to make it go faster. I don't hate the gameplay, I quite like it actually, it's just rough around the edges and there's room for improvement. The game truly shines in it's writing and world-building, which raises it above some of it's rivals in the genre. The game just sucks you in, and keeps you engaged all the time. While the game lacks in polished gameplay, it makes up for in interesting character's and the interactions between them. It might not be Skyrim, but it's still damn good and worth your time.… Expand

    It has to be good as it's a Witcher game, sharp dialogue, well-written plot with deeper thoughts about right and wrong than average games. However I had more trouble than the other 2 games probably due to capacity of my macbook. The controls seem a bit troublesome to me and the melee system didn't work well either.

    The second part of the series has improved it in some areas: Better graphics (especially the lighting), a enhanced combat-system. But the charakters are in my opinion not as interesting and the ending is a bit rushed, however it is one of my favourite games and the setup for the third game.

    Altamente recomendable para jugadores que les guste un juego donde mezcle la acción y rol. Consta de una historia rica y bien construida, aspecto que últimamente no se ve en mucho juegos, tal vez el sistema de pelea no resulta ser muy fluido y te incita a pensar antes de tirarte de cabeza a un combate.

    In my opinion is too colorful, and this is the weakest and shortest part of Witcher trilogy but still very good game! Good story between 1 and 3 part. And Can be now buy for only 2.5 euro!

    Love this game so much! One of my all time favorites. Can't wait to play it again. Great atmosphere, amazing world. Lot's of fun and exciting side quests. A way of getting to know the amazing characters in The Witcher universe more. Speaking of the characters there are so many cool characters in this game. Some of my favorites from this world.

Bright side: good story, intresting quests, dark secrets of hole town, Saskia/Saesenthessis. Dark side: bad combat system, terrible boss battles, inconvenient search of loot, bad map.     One of the best RPGs of all time! I can't believe the many choices that completely alter the entire game! You have so much freedom and the game reacts to your difficult, grey choices. Almost no other game does what the Witcher 2 does. It's soooo good!

    Thanks to that part of the game, because I began the fan of all series. Since my childhood, I hadn't been satisfied with the old Polish tv show - The witcher. But after finishing Witcher 2 the game I read all the books, change my opinion about the TV show and played all the games related to this. So personally for me, it's the beginning of the Witcher universe!

    Many people think about The Witcher 3 and sleep on this one. This is for sure an absolutely masterpiece. Solid combat, great sidequests, very good story and characters, great graphics for the time, superb soundtrack, very well detailed world( despite beeing small and linear), this game is so much underrated, it deserves much more appreciation.

El paso hacia adelante que dieron en el aspecto grafico lo dieron hacia atrás en cuanto a calidad de la historia, es buena no digo que no lo sea pero, sentí que le falto ma contenido por agregar, el juego se me hizo mas corto que la primer entrega, y honestamente se siente como un DLC de cualquier otro juego del genero, 3 Capítulos de la campaña principal y misiones secundaria, no repetitivas pero, bastante pasables, no suelen aportar gran cosa pero para avanzar te sientes forzado a hacerlas (al menos en dificultades altas). Me hubiera gustado que incorporaran personajes secundarios del primer juego, pero parecer que los dejaron a un lado junto con todo el reino de Temería. Me gustó que incluyeran otras escuelas de brujos y hagan mención de los recuerdos olvidados de Geralt, pero no todos ni los mas importantes. En general este juego me dejó un sabor agridulce, buenos gráficos pero siento que se desvió mucho de la historia del primer juego.… Expand

    Undoubtedly the worst of the trilogy, but the simplicity and console-esque gameplay were kind of refreshing after the rough swordplay of the first installment. Probably the first game which gave you the possibility to go two completely different paths, eventually giving two games in one.

    Good writing and story with replayability and satisfying choices. The graphics are still acceptable for 2020, I enjoy the combat system and there is also a fairly basic crafting system. If you like RPGs, give the Witcher series a try.

    Я понимаю почему люди восхищаются этой игры, но она меня дико выбесила. Первый ведьмак мной очень любим, а в этой вроде все в порядке, но она просто-напросто не работает. Боевка наверное более подходит для мира ведьмака, и она мне поначалу понравилась, но блин столько моментов, где ведьмак ударит то не того, то станет и пару ударов пропустит, если у противника идет какая это анимация, ударЯ понимаю почему люди восхищаются этой игры, но она меня дико выбесила. Первый ведьмак мной очень любим, а в этой вроде все в порядке, но она просто-напросто не работает. Боевка наверное более подходит для мира ведьмака, и она мне поначалу понравилась, но блин столько моментов, где ведьмак ударит то не того, то станет и пару ударов пропустит, если у противника идет какая это анимация, удар не проходит, а противники с постоянным магическим щитом, не делают игру интересней, а наоборот угнетает унынием. Бомбы бесполезная вещь, за игру только в начале попробовал как их использовать, и все за игру больше не использовал. Прокачка настолько ленивая и пресная, что у меня еще осталось 5 очков в конце игры, просто не было что прокачать что мне бы подошло. Зелье также настолько не интересны что кроме ласточки больше ничего не использовал, а то что они 10 мин лечат, это такой бред, и перед боем надо задийти в медитацию и просто смотреть как ведьмак их пьет и нельзя скипнуть заставку, и лечит она как на меня медленно, а то что во время боя юзать нельзя, это такой минус. Геймдизайн он красивый и красочный, но блин это просто лабиринт, в первом Ведьмаке как-то пободрей было. Но вот кого б я за яйца подвесил так это тот кто создал и выполнил мини карту, она убер не удобная и кривая. Квесты парочка интересных есть, а вообще большинство квестов и не интересны и однообразны, что капец. Графон завезли и он реально красивый, и окружение прекрасное, но лабиринт портит впечатление. Сюжет основной, мне не зашел, так как и в 4-5 книгах, эта политика мне была не интересна, поэтому сюжет как на меня слаб.… Expand

    I forced myself to play this game hoping I would enjoy it, but I literally fell asleep playing. I was so bored. So much talking and pointless wandering with nothing interesting happening. This game was highly recommended to me, but it's just not a game I can personally enjoy.

    I found this to improve immensely on the last title. The quests were fun, the Characters made you feel for them, and for the story kept me compelled. This game is not without it's faults, the combat was kinda rudimentary, and the load screens are very frustrating. Over all a very good game. 8.5

    Pek beğenmedim. Witcher 3'ü 170 saat oynamama rağmen bu oyundaki kadar sıkılmadım. Üstelik bu 25 saatte bitti. Combatlar eğleneceli değil, boss savaşlarında quick time event olması tam bir saçmalık, yan görev kalitesi witcher 3'ün binde biri bile değil (akıl hastanesi hariç), fast travel olmadığı için küçük haritalarda aynı yeri 100 defa yürümek zorunda kalıyorsunuz, para kazanıp veya itemPek beğenmedim. Witcher 3'ü 170 saat oynamama rağmen bu oyundaki kadar sıkılmadım. Üstelik bu 25 saatte bitti. Combatlar eğleneceli değil, boss savaşlarında quick time event olması tam bir saçmalık, yan görev kalitesi witcher 3'ün binde biri bile değil (akıl hastanesi hariç), fast travel olmadığı için küçük haritalarda aynı yeri 100 defa yürümek zorunda kalıyorsunuz, para kazanıp veya item satıp satıcılardan bir şey almak imkansız çünkü aşırı pahalı (Bunu çözen bir mod var). Oyunda tek büyük bir harita yok, görev icabı gittiğimiz 3-4 harita var, onlar da küçük ve karanlık. Etrafta kafanızı kaldırıp izleyeceğiniz bir manzara yok, şehirler ölü gibi. Oyun eski bir oyun olduğu için küçücük engeli geçememe, karakterin kabızlığı, görünmez duvarlar gırla. Açık dünyada keşif ve macera hissi yok, şuraya da gireyim bakayım belki ilginç bir hikaye bulurum demiyorsunuz. Yine de denk geldiğim yan görevlerin yüzde 90'ını ve 3-4 tane contract görevi yaptım. Bir ikisi dışında ilgi çekici bir yanı yoktu.
    Artıları ise yan hikayeler olmasa da ana hikaye ilgi çekici, bol bol entrika var, görevlerin gidişatına müdahale edebiliyorsunuz yani yaptığınız seçimler oyuna etki ediyor ki bu bir rpg için hayati bir konu.
    Hikayeyi sevdim ama bazı şeyler saçmaydı. Geralt'ın hafızasını kaybetmiş olması ve hatırlamak için bazı maceralara atılmak zorunda olması ve bu esnada hatırlama şekli hiç ikna edici değil. Bunun yanında gittiğimiz ilk şehrin politik durumu, ırkçılık ve buna direniş iyi verilmiş.
    Skill ağacında açtığımız skillerin neredeyse tamamı istatistik geliştirmesi, oyunun oynanışını değiştirmiyorlar veya aktif bir yetenek vermiyorlar.
    Sonuç olarak hem kaliteli zaman geçirme hem maceradan maceraya koşma hem de duygusal bağlanma olarak 3. oyunun onda biri bile değil.     It's deep, beautiful, engrossing, and has very fun and dynamic combat. The soundtrack are excellent, especially the fighting ones.

    Игра теперь больше не стратегия а полноценная RPG, но как по мне управление на геймпаде просто ужасно оно неудобно. В инвентаре очень много вкладок по ним не удобно перемещаться. Сюжет полная фигня.

    This is my first ever touch of The Witcher franchise, and I'm not disappointed at all. I will definitely get my hands on The Witcher 3 and maybe on the Witcher if I will have enough time for it.
    Pros:
    - The characters. They feel like real people, there are some stereotypical yet recognizable heroes. For instance, Zoltan feels like the most generic Slavic hornydog.     - Protagonist's moves feel super-clunky and unnatural for 2011 standards. Even Gothic 2 and Gothic 3 feels smoother in this regard.
    - It just way too short for 2011 RPG even if you beat all side quests you can see.
    All in all, I am regret at the moment I've come across Skyrim instead of Witcher 2 9 years back. This game is surely better in general.    … Expand

    Очень интересная часть, помню сюжет даже спустя годы, единственное, но, это как по мне боёвка, я не ощущаю веса меча, он как будто палка. Но в любом случае пройти эту часть однозначно стоит.

    Fantastic story and user's ability to impact it. Fantastic RPG with interesting development paths. Really good locations to explore and admire with interesting legendary equipment. Replayable, because you can choose which side you are with in the game and do other set of missions and you can make Geralt use other skills. Graphics really good for 2011.     The Witcher 2 offers awesome sword fights, cool graphics, charming characters, a compelling story, lots of bare skin and a decent shot of vulgar conversations. Damn good.
