Not so terrible, but good in it is not enough.
    Things I liked:
    - Emotions - Character Editor - Multitasking sims - Construction mode Otherwise, the previous game is either better, or at least not worse. Removing many things really disappointed me. Not everything was returned even at the time of 2020. And it seems it will not be returned. Most offensively for: - An open world

Otherwise, the previous game is either better, or at least not worse. Removing many things really disappointed me. Not everything was returned even at the time of 2020. And it seems it will not be returned. Most offensively for:

    - An open world (what prevented it from being turned off - an optional option for weak PCs and consoles?)

    - Transport, those cars that are present - it's just a visual effect

    - The remote mode of changing the city, and what is connected with this - the lack of the ability to place the desired site in the desired location

    - Cut the functionality of pets. The inability to hire them or directly manage them. Cat training has not yet been returned.

    - Lack of elaboration of trifles, as in the Sims 2. For example, what prevented the characters from getting kitchen appliances from the cabinets? Or did chess really move during the game?

    - Even more fragmentation of the game into paid addons. For example, if in the Sims 3 with the expansion “Pets” you received a whole bunch of possible pets and items for them, then in the Sims 4 they managed to break it into two separate additions.

    - The possibility of free painting objects

This is not a complete list. Personally, I think that the new parts of the games should get better, not improve only some things, taking away many interesting features in return.

The only problem I have with this game is the pay gap with male bodies vs female bodies.

I have both male and female working in the space unit--they are currently at the module cleaner level. M is getting paid 37/hr while FM is getting paid at 33/hr. Seriously???? How hard is it to get equal pay FOR THE SAME JOB? I'm going to bet it happens with other careers(I'm not sure though).

The game itself is really fun, I also wish there was a graveyard or something to reflect the whole town's death as the game progresses.

CW/ bleeped out cursing. I don’t want this reported bc then I’d be even more mad lmfao. Where do I start with this stupid game? Firstly, I wanna break it down. I’ve loved this game since sims 3. I’ve loved this game since sims 3. I might not be a veteran, and a bit late to the party, but I loved the idea of creating the perfect me for different lifestyles. But, it’s changed. And here’s why. Sims 4 is boring. It’s the most painful and boring game. I guess you could argue that’s just how a life simulator is. But I remember having so much fun going to clubs and restaurants and bars in sims 3, at my own will. Call me a hater, but the fact we didn’t get open world in the “newer” sims is laughable. And yeah, this complaint has been beaten into the sims 4 developers minds but they certainly have a fun time defending their precious ugly a** baby from criticism. I found it so funny that when I was first watching video for the Sims 4, they praised the character creator for its amazing abilities. Instead we got some cool sliders on the bodies and nothing else. What happened to the customization? Sims 3 let’s me pick accurate and unashey POC skin colors, and now I get absolutely disgraceful skin tones that people have complained about since they appeared. But it’s been a good few years, and alas no improvement! Because the Sims team and EA doesn’t care about its fans. It’s so heartwarming to look at these amazing surveys and actually get excited before remembering, oh right, it’s EA, it won’t happen. I looked at the website and saw school, accurate relationships, improved babies, and I got tears. I was finally going to get the sims 4 we all deserved. Instead they come out with the WORST pack I’ve seen. A eco pack. For 35 DOLLARS. If you are spending 35 of your hard earned money for rehashed ideas from two other packs fluffed with stinky old cheese.... I’m sorry but please save it for something else. I’ve never been more embarrassed for a company. The fact it passed so many people and they looked at it and thought “This won’t look like an obvious cash grab at all!” Because that’s all they think. They don’t care about us. Why would they when people still throw money at the company like h*rny straight me. I also find it soooo hysterical that there are literal fans, working for no money or limited money from patreon, are making BETTER packs and expansions for FREE or for cheap, better than the f*cking devs. I could not be more proud of a community for actively owning the sh*t out of this team that constantly uses “non realistic/ impossible” as a reasonable excuse. The fans give us matching furniture, realistic teens/babies with skin problems and moody days, actually good and relevant clothing other than the disgusting style Maxis gives us, beautiful skins colors and amazing hair. It’s so sad these people work so hard to make the game actually enjoyable content that is being eaten up by EA. I can’t get over the blandness and ugly and boring Sims 4. We’ve gotten unfinished packs, unmatched devs, awful buildings, horrendous packs, all for what. We have suffered so long and I just. This is the last **** straw. I can’t kept waisting my money on a game I know won’t improve. It’s heartbreaking to me that I put so much hope only for EA to piss and sh*t all over my dreams. I genuinely hope that people on the Sims team learn to read feedback. It would be beautiful to see actually good builds, good packs, and content that makes even 15 bucks f*cking worth it. Expand

This game is full of glitches. It spends more time crashing and not working more often than not. Updates distube the files on this game very easily. Users in the community are always talking about losing files and the game completely crashing itself and they loses on their progress. Thisis a wast of time and money

Worse than The sims 3 and that's for sure! Sims are too much stupid, too much just standing around somewhere, and they're always trying to communicate with someone they don't know, which looks strange. Still in the game is very, very boring.

Nie przesadzajcie. The Sims 4 to całkiem niezła gra. Oczywiście względem TS3 jest nieco uboższe ale ma za kilka ciekawszych rozwiązań, a grafika stoi na lepszym poziomie niż poprzednik.

No começo é divertido.

The Sims 4. Achjo. In my opinion, this should not have happened, and the developers, in my opinion, simply want more money. Instead of improving the triple, they preferred to embark on the fourth part, which honestly doesn't bring much. Right from the beginning, I was struck by the graphics, which in my opinion is worse than the one from the previous part, but that's my opinion. Not bad. She is actually pretty and has her own style. However, I preferred the more realistic of the three. Well, the game didn't bring us much new. This is actually a reskin of a threesome, but for the full price, and to make matters worse, of course, there is also a paid DLC, which classically forces you to buy, because sooner or later you will find out that you have nothing to do in the game. For the previous episodes, although they were DLC, at least each episode brought something new and went to see progress. For example, such a work by Simík improved with each work, until in the trio I said unbelievable what my possibilities are, and here in the four, although there is perhaps a little more possibility of creation, there is really nothing dramatically different. So for me, this game is vulgar cash-grab. But if you like the series and long for this virtual life, you'd better stay with the trio or older part. It's not a bad game, but in my opinion it's not worth the money. Yes, we have more emotions, which is nice, but that's probably the only bigger change. For me, an above-average game that I do not recommend. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game is good but is a downgrade from The Sims 3, which can be good or bad, less features in life simulation and is more simplified if that's what you want but looks new and refreshed and is not laggy. Its more like the sims 2 with updated graphics but there are some small details missing from that game, oh well (I guess you can't top a classic). Fun to play for a while but then gets bland after you exhaust everything you can do in your sims life. The sale price of $5 is good and is worth it, and it would be ok if the expansions and game packs were the same sale price but they aren't and seem overpriced with the small amount of content they add, (I've played the game with all of the additional dlc), don't even get me started on the stuff packs that add some new items and costs more than the base game LIKE WTH. You should be able to get expansion packs for like $5, $3 or $4 for game packs and $1-2 stuff packs NOT $15 or whatever it is, even some sort of bundle deal for all of the dlcs, but that would be a long shot and EA with the reputation they have i couldn't see them doing that with one of their current games, I wouldn't recommend buying the dlcs if your not rich. And after 7 whole years they have come out with 50+ dlc, I think enough is enough at this point and Maxis and EA should start creating a new sims game which they are rumored to be doing, that is much better by including more features you would find in a life simulation game like the direction the sims 3 was headed, that and not being atriousously laggy would be great. And the sims fans make a big deal whenever there is a small update to the game like when an object is added to the game, the "sims community" somehow makes a whole article about their opinion about bunk beds being added to the game. It feels soo good and it'll give you the best feeling ever.
You can build, create sims and make amazing stories. You'll definitely find something in the game that is for you!

Too much DLC. It's funny that the game is free on Steam. Because you have to buy 70 DLCs to get the actual game. I can't stand EA.

I love the Create-A-Sim new concept! Dragging, pulling, and reshaping the face and the body without slide bars, to create a unique Sims. Something that I love to do!

The return to The Sims 2 concept of closed lots and neighbourhoods/worlds is not as bad as I expected because you can travel and move in through the worlds freely and easily. You can have a vacation or a day off on Sulani,

The return to The Sims 2 concept of closed lots and neighbourhoods/worlds is not as bad as I expected because you can travel and move in through the worlds freely and easily. You can have a vacation or a day off on Sulani, while living in an apartment in San Myshuno just with one call /the "Travel" option/. It's not bad at all.

I am happy that they kept the tradition to have different graphics and animations, than the previous game. You know that every sequel is unique and this one is really fresh and colourful in every aspect.

I am not into the building but by the time I tried it, I can see a lot of new options which are huge pros to the game.

The biggest cons are the endless line of expansions, stuff, kits, etc. staff which might affect the game's quality, but in the end, you are not obliged to buy all of them.

The game is another great addition to the franchise and I am happy to have it next to The Sims 3.

This game is monopolist in category Life Simulator. The Sims 4 is fine in graphics but the best in gameplay. You can build any house what you want and every person what you can imagine. You have a 3 cities and a lot interesting place in it. Also you can have families in all that third cities. I love The Sims series, and this game is ultimate Sims!

В целом, не плохая игра, но почему так много DLS? EA, как будто специально вырезают контент из игры, для того что бы продать по дороже.

Worst then the sims three in pretty much every way and it kinda get worst with some of the dlcs, the base game is ok but doesn't have a lot going for it you're better off just getting the sims three as even just base game sims three has more to do then the sims four even with a few dlcs, the only thing that is better in the sims four over the sims three is the sims them selfs not the artWorst then the sims three in pretty much every way and it kinda get worst with some of the dlcs, the base game is ok but doesn't have a lot going for it you're better off just getting the sims three as even just base game sims three has more to do then the sims four even with a few dlcs, the only thing that is better in the sims four over the sims three is the sims them selfs not the art style tho the art style sucks, the sims in the sims three are outdated and don't hold up even on max settings and the same goes for shadows those are the only two things that the sims four is better then the sims three at other then that the sims three is better then the sims four in every way under the sun. A really enjoyable game. However, not worth it as a base game- get a few expansions on sale, personally I'd recommend Seasons, Cats and dogs and Get To Work for starters.

It's just sims, the change being, ea got greedier and i don't want to have to spend 1064,33€ for all DLCs it's ridiculous.

A fun, virtual life simulation game. It improves upon previous Sims games. The pricing is up for debate, but for the purposes of this review, I did not take pricing into account.

・If you want to install the mod, you should buy it, if you don't, you shouldn't buy it
・You shouldn't buy some DLC, and even if you do, you should buy it when it's on sale
・Bugs happen quickly, so you should be patient, and on rare occasions, all data may disappear, so you shouldn't put too much thought into this game.

Very pretty looking simulation but lacking gameplay features to an extent that I do not consider it a game. It is nice for building houses and creating sims but it is not actually playable as the Sims and worlds are very shallow, all alike and repetitive. The game can be very buggy as well. Also the DLC system is out of hand and way too expensive. While an enjoyable title that has been polished up and seems generally very modern, it cannot be expected that The Sims 4 is not going to be compared to The Sims 3. In this respect, it seems that while the game took a few steps forwards, it also took a few steps backwards by abandoning features that were very helpful and appreciated in the previous versions. It does have new features that people have been waiting for, such as emotions and more personality for the Sims. As for now, for some players it may not quite be worth to abandon The Sims 3 for it, but for new players looking for a first experience with the franchise, they may have an easier time navigating than former The Sims 3 players. People that have previously enjoyed the latter may be disappointed by the menus (Sim creation, building, or navigating town), as they have been so massively oversimplified that they are now actually confusing.

The Sims 4 is just a foundation of a game. How would you react if you bought a new Elder Scrolls game and realized that half of the cities are unavailable (because TES6: World Adventures is around the corner), there are only 4 weapons (TES6: Accessories), you can’t ride horses (TES6: Pets), there are only 12 quests (TES6: Careers), 2 guilds (TES6: Friends) and 3 spells (TES6: Supernatural)?
