My favourite expansion pack alongside Sims 4 Get Famous and city living, rightly so as it offers hours of gameplay and is so interesting choosing what path they take whilst going university. This expansion pack for The Sims 4 is really fun, but it has a few glitches. The homework for university students doesn't work, sometimes; the little progress bar doesn't move. It's also very difficult to have a sim take more than a couple of classes at a time, including extracurriculars. My sims are always late to class, because the "Go To Class" button does not appear, until the time that that class is supposed to start, plus travel time (either walking or biking). Overall, it is a fun pack. Your young adult+ sims can apply for scholarships based on their skills and talents, and they can move into a dorm, a house, or live at home. There are many fun clubs and things to do, like debate or joining the soccer team. All in all, I'd recommend the pack, but I might wait to buy, it, until they update the homework glitch. Expand

So much information, and so many possibilities that it can be almost scary. On the other hand, players are given the opportunity to design a whole new period of life for their Sims. While not always easy to navigate, Discover University definitely adds a lot to gameplay.

The Sims 4 Student life is a must-have for the experienced and beginning Simmer. The package adds a realistic aspect, more gameplay options and more growth options for your sim to the game. The construction and create-a-sim items are also a nice addition to the basic game.

New additions and returning favourites make Discover University a very strong offering, despite being the eighth expansion pack for The Sims 4. It improves on previous university-themed expansions but doesn't quite achieve the lively atmosphere of other DLC packs available for a similar price. A strong recommendation for hardcore Sims fans, but not a must-buy.
