Apr 24, 2021Better than Peril on Gorgon and has more story, but it doesn't feel like your investigation matters. Nice premise, poor execution. These DLCs are also coming out very, very late from the core game, so it's hard to get back into the swing of TOW (as well as having to backtrack to play the DLC).

Mar 21, 2021kind of fallout + borderland + no man's sky feel with fps RPG gameplay. About future & travelling around the unviersal and have a pretty view & good storylline. Graphic should be improved more & hope got more DLC soon in the future.

Aug 19, 2021Really fun DLC. It's a lot better than the Peril on Gorgon DLC and I think it may have even been a little longer, which was great value.

Oct 2, 2022If you're a fan of film noir, which I am, this is the beez knees. Best of Outer Words plus some silver screen detective stuff. Some nice subversion in the foreground, while in the background there is a situation of increasing importance.

Apr 28, 2021Was buggy at outset, but better than first DLC by a long shot, but still not good and certainly not at full price.

CD-ActionNov 15, 2021The DLC’s undeniable advantage is its impressive length – I needed eight hours to finish it. The problem is that the story, though well-written, doesn’t actually need you. It is absolutely linear and doesn’t even pretend not to be, so no matter what you do, you’ll get roughly the same ending (the final decision seems crucial but its impact is small). Other than that Murder on Eridanos is more of the same, but you’ll be shooting less than you did in the base game. [05/2021, p.45]

Apr 5, 2021The Outer Worlds - Murder on Eridanos is a sizable DLC offering that exhibits some fun murder-mystery hijinks with the same Outer Worlds flair you've come accustomed to in the rest of the game. With some niggling quest issues and an unsatisfying conclusion, I'm not sure if it is excellent enough to convince players to spend $15 and dust off a game they've already completed more than a year ago, but there's still fun to be had for those looking for more.

Mar 24, 2021While Murder on Eridanos has fun moments focusing on investigating and dialogue choices, it is actively undermined by shoving combat in your face and a twist that makes events leading up to that point feel pointless.
