The Masterplan is a tactical team-based heist game. It has a great vibe, with great ideas, an original setting and awesome and interesting levels. The soundtrack is pretty great, setting it in the 70s, fitting the mood quite adequately.

One of the rare original games today. With great 70's vibe, original soundtrack, graphical style, and non-trivial gameplay to beat, this is a definitely worth checking out.

The music and overall ambient are great. This is a puzzler, not just a shooting game. Well, you can go crazy and shoot everyone, but you don't get all the points.

If you want to plan to perfect heist, this is the game for you. It's a tactical puzzle game where you control a team of professionals to get the job done. True professionals don't shoot everyone in sight. The focus on the job at hand. Things don't always go according to plan. That's when you can slow down time, make a great getaway and still come up on top. Original visuals, great music.

Fresh approach to a trending crime theme, The Masterplan provides a great heisting experience for those with a more strategic or tactical mind. Instead of blowing your way through enemies and civilians, you can use the unique threaten system to force the by-standers do your bidding. The devs have also promised there'll be player made maps, something I can hardly wait!

Announce as many cool things as possible, then, while everyone is distracted by flashy trailers, swap the actual game with a hardly playable dummy. Looks like The Masterplan itself is a con.

Decent fun spoiled by poorly designed, frustrating controls and lack of depth. [09/2015, p.47]

Despite shortcomings in controls and level design, the core gameplay and the smooth presentation are strong enough to make The Masterplan an entertaining, if flawed heist simulator. [Aug 2015]
