ChristopherDoJun 8, 2008A brilliant, imaginative exploration of the classic ghost story. Moaning about screen ratios is pointless, given that his game is one of the best examples the genre has to offer. A great ghost story, lovingly told and presented. Anyone who enjoys a good, solid adventure game is bound to love this one.

TenfyrAug 1, 2008Great plot and wonderful scenery however if you don't get frustrated by pixel hunting needed to progress the plot or the awful character animation, the James T Kirk-esque voice acting will certainly get on your tits.

JenniferWJun 10, 2008Fantastic for adventure game lovers! Amazing story, VERY long and immersive. Beautiful backgrounds and interesting use of black and white. The only drawback keeping this from a perfect 10 is the poor character models/animations. If you love a good, spooky story and are an adventure game fan, this game is perfect for you.

The Lost Crown has a great, creepy atmosphere, and the presentation is one of a kind. Dark shadows, spectral figures, near constant mist, and chilling sounds are bound to give most folks an uneasy feeling about playing the game at night in a dimly lit room.
-
The Lost Crown stands head and shoulders above most of the adventure game offerings that have come our way over the last few years and frankly I was saddened when it finally ended.

I think the game would have been much better off concentrating on two or three well developed ghost stories rather than the dozen or so passably interesting ones that are in the game now.
