Skyrim VR is an amazing, immersive experience. It's unfortunate that it's also completely unplayable. At its core, Skyrim VR is a bad port that doesn't respect the format. The character inventory system, as well as the keyboard controls, do not map well at all to VR. Trying to put on a shield or find an item makes me feel like I'm playing Excel VR, which I might add, might be less nauseating.

Skyrim VR on PC is a much better version than Skyrim VR on PSVR, thanks to its controls and mods. This is a real no-brainer for every VR enthusiasts, even though it may have required some more polishing.

With great performance, unofficial mod support, all the DLC, and pretty good controls, The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim VR is a great buy for VR headset owners. Even if you’ve played hundreds of hours in the pancake version of the game, I think you’ll really enjoy being immersed in the world of Skyrim. It truly is a brand new experience and it along with Fallout 4 are now two of my favorite VR games to play.

Skyrim VR is an excellent RPG that obviously directly plants down all of the amazing work developing it. Of course, even in VR there are an abundance of user-created mods to enhance the experience. With that said, judging it purely as a virtual reality title, the limitations of trying to deliver a grand RPG of this size crop up a little more clearly than otherwise would be the case.
