As always, Todd Howard is the best. Collected 100 free mods and re-sold the game to us!

Skyrim is an old game and I have been playing it for years on many platforms OG and SE. Skyrim SE was free drop on Steam, because I purchased the OG Skyrim/DLC licenses. So the cost for the anversary edition was only the price of the upgrade pack on Steam

Personally I can't be fussed to try indivdual mods and get them to work together. Did I get my monies worth for this CC mod

Personally I can't be fussed to try indivdual mods and get them to work together. Did I get my monies worth for this CC mod collection, maybe? I know I definately avoided a lot of time wasting and hassle if I tried to get this many mods to work together for sure. In cart a few clicks to purchase. Yeah waited on the long download, but now I have 100 fun hours more in the game finding the new stuff sprinkled throughout. All continued from my Redguard SE level 40 or so character.

I got the upgrade pack, because I pretty much don't have anything wishlisted beyond DLC for old games. I have pretty much every game I want and no interest in anything TBR (well maybe Dying Light 2).

Well I came across several new litttle side missions. A couple of big side missions. Several nice new homes. New gear and some old reminders from Morrowind/Oblivion. Still have a ton of fun with it, but yeah Skyrim is showing its age. Draw distance for one is really bad in wide open areas.

This is what a real RPG looks like. Rich world, a lot plot lines, non-linear choices, tonns of towns and villages, tonns of gameplay mechanics. Elden Ring is not even a 1% of this game's greatness - it's just a shallow, hollow simulator of using an axe against character's enemies.

Hands down, Skyrim was the best game of 2011. And in and by 2021 - there was nothing that managed to beat

Hands down, Skyrim was the best game of 2011. And in and by 2021 - there was nothing that managed to beat it in terms of scale, plot, the deepness of the world and overall quality. It is the best of anything in between 2011-2021 and after. Skyrim, Witcher 3 - this is what games used to be, not that **** like Elden RIng and GoW.

So, in simple words, this one added several things that I always felt were missing from the original version, don't get me wrong, I will always feel that the original it's perfect.

I love Skyrim too much to scold the developers for anything. I liked the Anniversary Edition. I know that many people don't like it and I understand them. But I'm fine with it.

Skyrim Anniversary Edition is yet another opportunity for the fans of the franchise to revisit the adventures of Dovahkiin. For all those who haven’t played Skyrim before, this is the perfect time to do so by taking in all the wonders and beauty of northern Tamriel and experiencing, first hand, one of the biggest giants this medium has to offer.

The Dragonborn add-on allows you to revisit Solstheim, the island from 2003's Bloodmoon expansion to Morrowind. While it's still a Skyrim location, It brings a little taste of Morrowind to the frozen North. Numerous Creation Club mods bring in quests, creatures, and items that link back to Morrowind and Oblivion, so there's a lot to explore here. Not to mention the seemingly endless number of mods available online that alter and enhance the game in many ways. From realistic AI conversations that make the townsfolk talk to one another instead of throwing lines of exposition at you as you pass to texture overhauls that dramatically improve the game's look (as long as you have the engine to run them). Which brings me to my biggest complaint about the Skyrim Anniversary Edition - tech.

Skyrim is still magnificent, but a collection of moderately executed additional content does not justify the new price for an old game.
