Sep 4, 2018More than anything, this was just a really confusing game. I could never really make sense of the puzzles, the story, or anything. At times this game felt super polished, and at others it felt extremely rushed and hastily put together. I didn't make it through the full game so take this with a grain of salt.

CD-ActionMay 30, 2016The developers contrasted disturbing scenes with simple, idyllic pixel art, creating an intriguing mix of a horror story and a fable. [05/2016, p.68]

Apr 28, 2016Don't get fooled by its pixel-art: The Count Lucanor is a cruel survival horror, filled with puzzles and mystery. It's a simple adventure, easy to pick up and play. There are some flaws, but nothing too serious.
