Jun 22, 2021I liked the game. Interesting plot (though only in the first half of the game). Mysterious atmosphere. And unusual game mechanics.
True, the ending and plot twist in the second half of the game let us down.
Graphics and animation are normal, you can play. -
Mar 2, 2019The first 2 episodes were very very good. A lot of interactions, a lot of suspense bu then came the mediocre episode 3 and then the worse 4 and 5 which killed the game. In the last 2 episodes it doesn't matter what you choose you will end up at the same scene...

Mar 2, 2020A disappointing game overall. The first two episodes were intriguing and kept you enthralled. Slowly after that as the story unraveled it became stale, repetitive at times and not engaging. Choices became less frequent and some interesting mechanics not revisited often.

Mar 28, 2020The Council is another "Choices Matter" game. If you are interested in history, you may like the adventure. But puzzles were tedious and sometimes frustrating. The game became boring after Episode 4... There were some glitches too. 16hrs on record.

Jul 31, 2020Interesante juego el cual me atrapo al principio, me dejo de interesar otra parte del juego y al final me acabo gustando, es diferente a todo y por eso lo apruebo, no es un gran juego pero si uno muy original.

CD-ActionDec 11, 2019Big Bad Wolf did what Telltale Games’ works promised but could never deliver. A true revelation in the world of non-linear adventure games. [03/2019, p.66]

Mar 5, 2019The Council started with a big bang but ended with a huge sigh of disappointment. It has a great level of details to represent the world at the end of XVIII century, it has some nice changes to the stagnant genre of "choices matter adventures", but the story and storytelling are not up to par with them. Also, world feels unresponsive, the pacing feels inadequate and in short, it could have been a great game, but it failed on the most important things.

Jan 25, 2019Although the idea of blending role-playing elements with traditional adventure gaming sounds intriguing, The Council doesn’t do anything particularly interesting with either of them after a very strong introductory episode.
