    This is the most unique experience I had with an FPS shooter. I have 800 hours on the game and I feel like the longer you play it, the better your experience gets. Getting better in this game feels so rewarding. Every weapon feels so satisfying. The game is very funny. I love the graphics and characters too. Great music and good game play.     People love this game but I still don't understand why it happened. The mechanics seemed pretty mediocre to me. But there are plenty of features. Not taking himself too seriously may make the game fun. Or maybe it's just because I don't like online games. But I still recommend you try it. Maybe you will catch that I can't.

    As a standalone game, Team Fortress 2 is a timeless masterpiece. The characters are absolutely fantastic, the gameplay is amazing, the maps are fun to play on, and each unique playstyle of each class makes the enjoyment of TF2 endless. (I'm an Engineer guy myself.) The only thing holding it back is the lack of updates and the abundance of bots, but at least the bots can be avoided if youAs a standalone game, Team Fortress 2 is a timeless masterpiece.     This is the best game of all time. Brilliant character design, all with the best personalities and voice acting, Rest in Piece Rick may, rocket jump your way to heaven, but the gameplay is fun and finding new ways to play feels too good. If you can, get it. It's free.

    I've been plating this game for 4 years now and this game is and will be my favourite shooter. It has an insanely high skill ceiling. Even with the more easy classes there is a lot to learn and master. And despite the game releasing in 2007 the unique, colorful and wacky visuals are still very pleasing But as of January 2021 there is an ongoing bot crisis that is making starting this gameI've been plating this game for 4 years now and this game is and will be my favourite shooter. It has an insanely high skill ceiling. Even with the more easy classes there is a lot to learn and master.     A bit more to do here than the first game Team Fortress Classic. At least there are singleplayer parts such as training and you can test your skills with bots, but still.

    Tf2 is such a great game. It's cartoony visuals are great, the 9 classes offer great variety with their weapon choices, and the maps are amazing. The community makes this game even better. Just a masterpiece of a game. Even when you leave, you'll still be coming back sooner or later

    Team fotress 2 is possibly one of the best third person shooter of all time. The movement and weapons work together very well every class is fun to play. Sadly Valve hasn't paid atention to this game sadly.

    Changed my life, there will never ever be another game just like Team Fortress 2 or which can always slightly pull back it's player like Team Fortress 2, even when it's mostly because of it's great community and it's amazing creations which make simple thing like being idle even fun

    One of the most fun games i've played in my life. It isn't p2w even tho its free, you can even earn some money for playing. It gets a 9 becouse it is forgotten my valve and doesn't get any updates

    This is the game i started my gaming adventure with and in these 5 years with playing a lot of games I still think that it is the best game to exist. Though it does not get many updates valve still cares about TF2 and tries to do much to the community (which is really helpful with exceptions). I highly suggest anybody who playes on pc to turn it on and play at least once.

    Ок, мы проясним сразу мы судим игру 13-ти летней давности так что графоний и прочее дерьмо шлём нахуй, хотя стилистика долгоиграющая и актуальна до сих пор. геймплэй охеренен овервотч и тф 2 разные вещи так что сравнивать не стоит но тут когда тима играет с тобой как надо это пожалуй больше чем прекрасно.     The perfect multiplayer game. Its incredibly easy for beginners, but still has an insanely high skill cap. This game is incredibly satisfying to master. The community is also very great, almost everyone follows the unofficial, silent "rules" (dont kill friendlies, etc.). This games got a little something for everyone.

    Team Fortress 2 is great if you don’t take it seriously. It still looks good after so many years. The classes are not balanced. Playing as Heavy will get you way more kills than playing as Pyro. But I am not sure if the majority of TF2 players care about balance. Competitive mode is pretty much dead and casual mode is where you’ll find populated servers. In every game, you will haveTeam Fortress 2 is great if you don’t take it seriously. It still looks good after so many years. The classes are not balanced. In every game, you will have hilarious moments where players will just gather and dance, as opposed to killing each other. Team Fortress 2 was installed on my PC for over 8 years now and I haven’t played it for 20 hours. In short, it is great as a free to play casual shooter if you don’t care about it too much. And that’s the other side of the coin; you won’t care about it much…

    Eu sinto que esses nove anos de desenvolvimento do jogo realmente valeram condizem, porque eu sinto uma sintonia muito grande entre todas as classes do jogo. Como o fato do dano máximo do Sniper ser 450 (150 com dano crítico, 150 x 3 = 450) e a vida máxima do jogo, que é do    Eu tenho 2.345 horas de jogo até o momento. É um dos melhores jogos de FPS multiplayer que eu já joguei na vida.
    Eu sinto que esses nove anos de desenvolvimento do jogo realmente valeram condizem, porque eu sinto uma sintonia muito grande entre todas as classes do jogo.     A gameplay é muito boa. Cada classe é muito diferente da outra e você precisa entender como todas funcionam, o que elas podem fazer e o que elas não podem fazer.
    O universo que esse jogo criou também é único. O jogo tem uma lore por trás que é bem diferente. Todos os personagens no jogo são mercenários, e quase todos tem algum problema mental, como psicopatia ou um amor muito grande por matar. No jogo também é diferente, porque, na minha experiência com jogos online, nunca vi outro jogo onde todos da partida param de se matar somente para começar a dançar e fazer filas de conga gigantes.
    O problema com o jogo é que agora, em 2020, o jogo não recebe nada de atualizações importantes. O último major update foi em 2017, com o Jungle Inferno.    … Expand

    TF2 is in my heart. Whoever plays this game knows how much fun it can be, to the point of often forgetting competitiveness to just interact 'friendly' with the enemy team. But over the years, VALVE just abandoned the game and today it is very difficult to play because of the number of bots.

    This is the best competitive shooter I have ever played. The characters are very distinguishable, but they wouldn't do so good if they were not in the same game. The world and the story are awesome. The community maps do what mods do for Bethesda games, but Valve actually cared for TF2. It's a shame they aren't as committed to the community and the game as they had been.

    My favourite multiplayer first-person shooter ever,
    All the different classes feel so unique in both gameplay and personality, something other class-based shooters like Overwatch have tried to emulate, but have never come close to anything as good as TF2.
    The art style too makes this game great, the cartoony aesthetic gives this game life.
    10/10 one of my favorite games.

    It COULD be the best hero-shooter out there but the fact that the game is so infested with hackers and bots it makes it unplayable. At this state I would'nt recommend this game.

    Nice Graphics and Solid Multiplayer action countless hours of gameplay and many servers to join different classes to choose from although it will take some time to master the controls and learn to control all classes but it's totally worth it IT'S ADDICTIVE,IT'S FUN you should totally get this game.

    This flawless, glorious, game about hats and some fighting minigame has taken over 700 hours of my life from me, and have to say, I loved every single second of those hours. From the huge things like the gameplay based off of the nine iconic mercs made to do certain tasks and counter other classes, to the small things like the funny hats, taunts, or promo items. I am a hybrid main, mainingThis flawless, glorious, game about hats and some fighting minigame has taken over 700 hours of my life from me, and have to say, I loved every single second of those hours. From the huge things like the gameplay based off of the nine iconic mercs made to do certain tasks and counter other classes, to the small things like the funny hats, taunts, or promo items. I am a hybrid main, maining Heavy, Pyro, and Engineer because they're just so fun to play as. Heavy mows down unexpected opponents and is the character who dragged many people into the game from his "meet the team" trailer. Pyro, who was the last to receive a trailer but neefed the time to show people who he was, that cute minded, flamethrower using, monster that is also really funny when you use airblast. Engineer, where you either have dire, dangerous fights to win a game, or you're laying down in your robot lawn chair with your sentry gun in the intellegence room. That takes me too the gamemodes. Valve started with a couple gamemodes, but soon made more of them. There's ones with control points a team needs to capture and defend, capture the flag, (self explanatory) and payload, but it has other gamemodes, like ctf with power ups and grappling hooks, ones with UFOs, one taking place in medieval times, payloads racing, or some soccerhockeybasketball. The community also makes fun gamemodes like the apocalyptic x10, where all weapons stats are multiplied by ten, versus saxton hale, where you and a bunch of other players defeat one boss player, or randomizer, where every life you are equipped with a random class, primary weapon, secondary weapon, and melee weapon. The gamemodes, characters, and maps have helped make this game last twelve and a half years. But, what about the community? The community has done so many things to help this game stay alive. The community has made lots of the game for valve using the steam workshop. They have made weapons, hats, taunts, and maps for valve. They even make up sub-classes using special loadouts like the trolldier, the soldier class but he is now, instead of shooting rockets and rocket jumping towards an advange point, (one of the moves in the game that allows fast movement) he is now based entirely on rocket jumping with a rocket launcher that does no damage and hitting people with a shovel that does extra damage while rocket jumping. There's also the demoknight, where people took the grenade shooting, stickybomb detonating, demolition man into a knight with a sword and shield that charges into an enemy with his sword that does critical damage while charging. There's so many great things about this game, Valve. Please, for the love of god, update the game. We haven't had a major update since october 2017. Thousands upon thousands people love and enjoy this game so much, we need another update. We have lots of weapons, maps, and cosmetic items for you in the workshop that are all ready to go.     The only bad thing is that Valve does not give it the support it deserves this game with a titanic potential. Currently and unfortunately TF2 is in a very unfortunate state, full of Hackers-Bots, they do not update it since 2017, there was never a Heavy-update, the competitive one does not find a game because nobody plays it.
    Valve is excluding this game from what it can be. If they gave it enough attention, I would not doubt that it would reach the level of popularity that CSGO has and I am not exaggerating.

    Well, despite everything I would give it a 9.5 / 10 just because it does not have enough attention, but it would be a 10/10.

    Best team shooter game that i've played. I really like these items, they are different every time. you can make your own combos from weapons. These classes are easy to remember and easy to play. Best thing is, you can play this game OFFLINE. That is the best thing to do. When you are going somewhere, and you have requirements to play. This is the best thing to play.

TF2 is great, chaotic fun, but at times it feels too chaotic. Each class is unique, but they don’t feel as if they do much. There’s no precision, mostly just spam everywhere. However, the class loadouts can make things interesting.     TF2 was a very fun game. I used to play it for several hours but was never really addicted to it. The graphics are very striking and the characters' designs are cool.

    Great game by Valve and a very unique FPS games you should try with friends. It makes for long hours of fun. Not really the most refined gameplay ever but really cool nevertheless. The graphics are acceptable, the plot is fictional and the gameplay is level, but the game has 1 big problem. Lack of developers. Think about it. There haven't been any updates since 2017.     This is one of my favorite games of all time and for good reason. The art style is very cartoony, which really sets it apart from other FPS games. The gameplay is fun and really balanced. There are 9 classes. The scout, soldier, pyro, demoman, heavy, engineer, medic, sniper, and spy. Each class is different and fun to play. The scout uses his speed to outmaneuver and pick off enemies. The soldier is incredibly balanced with his rocket launcher, which does a lot of damage at any range. You can also use his rocket launcher to rocket jump, which offers great mobility to great players. The pyro is an incredibly important class. His flamethrower does lots of damage, but the afterburn is what will kill your enemies. You can use your airblast to reject projectiles and extinguish teammates. The demoman is a defensive class, but he is still great offensively. He does the most damage out of any class, but his projectiles are really slow. His stickybomb launcher can place sticky bombs anywhere, which can be detonated with your right click. The heavy is a slow yet powerful class. He does great damage from short-medium range. His secondary can be either a shotgun or a delicious snack. The engineer is a defensive class who has the power to construct sentries, dispensers, and teleporters. Sentries target any enemy automatically and pull off a load of damage. Dispeners supply you, the engineer, with metal. It also dispenses ammunition and health to anybody standing around it. Teleporters quickly get your team around the map. This can be incredibly helpful to other teammates and will earn you a sta-.. pat in the back. The medic is one of the most important and beloved classes in the game. You heal your teammates which builds up your ÜberCharge, which temporarily makes you and your healing target invincible. The sniper is a class that picks off enemies from long distances with his sniper rifle. Headshots deal critical hits. The spy is a class which uses his tools to get behind enemies so he can backstab them. You are the ultimate counter to the engineer with your sapper, which quickly deals damage to buildings. Another thing I love about this game is the humor. The voice lines in the game are hilarious, and all classes have unique personalities which can bring a chuckle out of you. The music in this game is also splendid. The trailer themes are awesome and I'd recommend listening to this video game's ost. My biggest complaint is that Valve hardly pays attention to this game anymore. Sometimes, it takes me minutes just to get me into a competitive match. They hardly update the game, and when they do, they're usually small patches. In conclusion, TF2 is a stupendous game that everybody with a PC should try out at least once in their lifetime. Team Fortress 2 is a class-oriented, team-based, first-person shooter, and the key to the magic of the game is that it ticks all three criteria perfectly. Team Fortress 2 is a class-oriented, team-based, first-person shooter, and the key to the magic of the game is that it ticks all three criteria perfectly. There are nine distinct classes, all of which with different personalities, although the game (thankfully) doesn't use this too much, except in the well-written banter, playstyles and weapons. I'm a Medic main myself, and even within the confines of a class, there is so much variety to choose from. I might want to change my melee weapon for the specific type of game-mode or switch my medi-gun to one catered to my team. Every one of the nine classes is a blast to play, although I do definitely have my favourites. The second aspect of Team Fortress 2, is how team-based the game is. It's usually a harsh 12v12 (in Casual) fight out there, and so relying on your team is vital, especially for a Medic main. This doesn't mean one extremely skilled player can't dominate an entire team, with enough luck. But the massive player count also lets you ease out a bit, and play whatever you want, adding to the casual atmosphere. And then comes the first-person shooter, and, damn are weapons. A pivotal part of the game is how much damage everything does. It heavily encourages dodging instead of taking the hit, even as a slower class like the Heavy. But when you're not avoiding, you're shooting, and there is an amazing amount of variety of weapons. A weapon slot that is one of the best is the knives for Spy. From the iconic stock one to the Kunai and the Big Earner, both of which reward Spies that take the risk of having severely lowered health, for a massive payoff on a backstab, to the Spy-cicle, which mitigates the Spy's arch enemy, the Pyro, to the Your Eternal Reward, which morphs you into who you backstab, the best for a multiple stab-streak. And all this for one selection of weapons, and every class has at least three of these selections. But a fundamental problem is that except in scenarios such as that, there's almost always a clear winner in the best weapon for the category. And while the argument that the game is free is valid, you only start off with stock. But this could be countered by the fact that very quickly, you will find a whole lot of weapons, and with services like Scrap.tf, you can gain any weapon you want. There is a soundtrack to this game, but mostly, all you'll hear of it is in the main menu. Most of them are actually from the Meet the Team series, something almost any whose heard TF2 has seen. The story is even less included but is explained the over-the-top comics that can be accessed on the game's official website. There are hundreds of maps, and some are incredibly bad, such as Mountain Lab, most let each class serve its true potential. The game's casual nature is also another true key nature, and while you will come across an occasional crybaby, no-one is ever that bad. A key memory was when we were losing, and then eight, including me, of us switched to Scouts, and we demolished the opposition. Moments like that aren't rare, though, and even in a balanced team, you'll have a boatload of fun. Overall, Team Fortress 2 is the pinnacle of what it strives to be, and inspiration for basically every class-based shooter after it. Oh, yeah, and hats.… Expand

    A classic shooter which is fun, diverse and free-to-play (and the best free-to-play game you can play). It has aged pretty well considering it's now 13 years old and it's still a very fun and unique game. It's a shame that Valve sort of abandoned it; updates are quite scarce sadly.

    El juego como concepto es bueno y entretenido,pero tiene muchos defectos El balance de algunas clases (Muchas como soldier o sniper tienen mucho poder)
    El respawn es eterno etc Pero en si es convincente y tiene muy buen manejo en lore y personajes,lo cual es lo que brilla y con todos los sfm que hay esto debio ser una serie o película, no un juego que como juego tiene defectos

    Потому что понаставили 10 в момент её выхода, когда у неё был гигантский онлайн, сейчас он упал минимум в 5-7 раз, печально смотреть на то, как умирают шедевры.

    A lot of class based shooters come and go within the first year they are released. This one is still going after 10 years and yes it's not got the biggest player base but it's still a game I come back to purely because it's fun.

    (I might also be a bit biased as I've spent a lot on hats so...yeah)

    The marriage of highly stylised retro-spy presentation, fresh, high octane action, deep and varied classes and the underlying twinkle of humour in its metaphorical eye make Team Fortress 2 far more than just your average fragfest. Long after the novelty of the graphics wears thin, we are left with a refined and accessible multiplayer game that simultaneously cultivates new players whilst retaining enough depth to accommodate even the hardiest of veterans.
