Aug 18, 2015The best episode of Tales from the Borderlands yet. I laughed. I cried. I haven't been able to say that about a Borderlands game since Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, or about a Telltale game since the first season of The Walking Dead.
-
Aug 18, 2015Escape Plan Bravo feels like another solid entry in the series, with a few big moments connected together by a great script, snappy dialogue, and the same wit and humor that’s been on display since the beginning.
-
Aug 18, 2015The finest Telltale episode since The Walking Dead’s finale. And that’s saying something.
-
Aug 21, 2015Escape Plan Bravo is by far the best episode in the Tales From the Borderlands series, and probably in all the Telltale production. A true emotional rollercoaster, filled with intense and bizarre moments. How the writers will untangle the plot, well, it remains to be seen.
-
Aug 19, 2015While it may not please everyone and might even cause anger amongst longtime Borderlands fans due to a pretty big moment, it tells a great story and manages to set up the final chapter in a solid way.
-
Aug 18, 2015Escape Plan Bravo in particular ends with a massive cliffhanger, and I’m probably going to end up replaying it just to see the other side of that.
-
Aug 18, 2015I loved this latest episode, and I’m adoring Tales From The Borderlands, easily the best thing Telltale’s done since season one of The Walking Dead. It continues to demonstrate how the light-adventure formula can be played for humor as much as tragedy, how good writing can shine in a videogame with the right presentation, and just how accomplished the studio behind it is.
-
Aug 18, 2015The humor has been continually hilarious, the storylines and characters have been compelling, and most of all, Tales From the Borderlands has been fun to participate in.
-
Aug 20, 2015Imaginative, home to a perfect 80's AOR slow-walk montage as well as the silliest tribute to Scarface's epic final scene to ever surface in a video-game, it's very hard not to fall in love with Tales from the Borderlands as it reaches its inevitable climax.
-
Aug 31, 2015Each character who contributed to the story carry forward the Borderlands universe. After seeing the solid storytelling and surprise finale, you'll be excited for the fifth section.
-
Oct 28, 2015The best episode till now. It has hilarious moments, a brilliant plot twist, and great writing. It may not have the pace of its predecessor, but it's definitely a must have for those who love a good story once in a while.
-
Aug 22, 2015Tales from the Borderlands' fourth episode shows much improvement over the previous chapter, but calls into question the substance of this series, though I smiled, laughed, and always kept at least one eye on the screen.
-
Aug 21, 2015After the last episode I was worried that Telltale would take the script in the wrong direction. Well, not anymore. Humor, absurd situations, great directing – it all is back. Now the only thing Telltale needs to do, is bring a little more game back into the cinematic experience.
-
Aug 18, 2015This episode has pretty much everything you could ask for. Telltale is still pulling out great stories and some memorable moments, and all signs point to a great season finale.
-
Aug 18, 2015The time spent in Hyperion alone makes this entry worth playing. The characters are better (depending on your dialog choices, of course), the jokes are funny, and it features the longest and most epic fake gunfight in the history of video games.
-
Aug 18, 2015Serving as a fitting appetizer for the grand finale, Tales From The Borderlands Episode 4 takes its foot off the gas just enough to set up what should be a tense and entertaining resolution.
-
Aug 18, 2015In Episode 4, Escape Plan Bravo, Telltale manages to wrangle hold of the material and build something more cohesive even if some cracks still show.
-
Aug 18, 2015The vast majority of this two hour episode is gleeful, silly and an overall reminder that video games are meant to bring joy. It’s borderline terrifying to think that the lowest point of Tales from the Borderlands is better than most of the games that have come out in 2015, but that’s exactly the case and gamers everywhere should be overjoyed at this news.
