Escape Plan Bravo is able to make us laugh again, but in comparison with the previous episodes it is weaker, slower and technically not so elaborate piece. Anyway, everything suggests, that for the next time we can expect the grand finale.

The fourth episode of Tales from the Borderlands is a let-down, especially compared to the astounding third episode. Although the new setting is great, there just is not much speed in this episode. Plus, it is very hard to remember details that are important in moments of choice.

A few missteps along the way, combined with the technical problems that the developer has become infamous for, make for an overall less enjoyable experience than episodes past. Still, this is certainly one of the best narrative driven games available, and the finale is looking like it will easily cement this reputation.

Where the previous three episodes set the scene with laughs galore, episode four focuses more on setting up a finale, and loses some of the magic in doing so.

The characters are interesting as usual, but this chapter feels a bit too slow and fragmented to really entertain.

Escape Plan Bravo doesn't deliver what it promises. When it's all over, we are left with the impression that the most interesting aspects of the story are still untold.

Too much show and tell, not enough to do. [Issue#168, p.100]

Despite a handful of funny, emotional moments, Escape Plan Bravo is a low point for the Tales series. Its events lack weight, many of the characters are underutilized, and the abrupt ending left me far from satisfied.

There are no big action sequences, which takes away some of the energy, but the emphasis on character relationships is what makes this episode a good one.

Telltale's trademark comedy and drama twisted together in a story that is a pleasure to watch and participate, but, more importantly, this episode has a very huge impact on entire Borderlands lore. Which was absolutely unexpected and as mind blowing as finale of Tiny Tina's DLC. Borderlands' fans will remember that episode, no doubts. Full Review »

I had episode three's great impression while playing this episode which involuntarily caused somewhat lower impression compared with the third one. But I think they kind of made it on purpose considering the cliffhanger at the end of the episode, paving way for the best peak action moments in the final episode, hopefully. Full Review »

This episode truly displays the talent over at Telltale Games and is definitely one of my favourite episodes yet. I have no doubt that this will become the best Telltale series out of the bunch and I advise anyone who hasn't played it yet to do so ASAP! Full Review »
