    Not quite interesting.
    Im not familiar with the Syberian series even being a hardcore gamer for decades. But after taking a tiny peek of what was this series was about in the game itself , found it apparently that I missed out something.
    Whatever the case after hearing a lot of chimes and whistles about it I decide to give it a try. Unfortunately I still cant budge with it. Maybe like    Not quite interesting.

    Graphs are barely ok . Are better that most indies around but not even close to instant classics of decades ago or outstading indies from later years. The history is quite poof. The personality of the main characters and situations is something like the classic novel little women. I even dare to say that maybe this game is too femenist for my taste? It seems for moments like a cheesy point and click romance graphic novel that you can find everywhere. Maybe the fanbase is aimed for female people ,that would explain a lot. Still I could ovelook that if the gameplay and activities would be more interesting/challenging. Is esentially to go from point b to c after searching something in a.
    The unique moment that I feel appealing is solving a puzzle of a sphere "the room" style,( one of the most interesting puzzles games series ever existed) that was a armadillo automaton or something.
    Unfortunately most game is about linear simplistic tasks like 98 percent only. But Im giving this game a 5 for effort. If I missed some unique games in the previous series I hope the fanbase bear with my thoughts.    … Expand

    En los comentarios obviamente juega mucho la nostalgia. Un 6 de calificación está bastante bien. Nada más que agregar, salvo que jugué todos. Ojalá este sea el último.

    Сеттинг интересный. Дизайн красивый. Сюжет выглядит довольно интересным. Но жаль, что игра нелюбимого мне жанра - квест. Из-за этого мне геймплей очень неприятен.

    + Atmosphere is really great. The spirit and style of the first two games are completely passed on to this one. + Attention to details and memorable locations in the game + Nice Russian localization + Lovely music What I Dislike about Syberia: The World Before - Terrible controls.     - Terrible controls. Don't know why, but my mouse clicks didn't respond on the first try. Sometimes it was a real challenge to open a document or move in the game.
    - A few critical bugs were found during the game. The blocked me and forced to find a solution on YouTube.
    - Graphics (especially facial) looks obsolete and mediocre in 2022    … Expand

    Syberia: The World Before is a very good adventure game that also serves as a touching capstone to Sokal's career. Most of the puzzles follow a sensible, logical path that is fun to figure out without making you question the solutions. The story is very well told, but the ending is frustrating for those seeking closure. The title also features a gorgeous presentation, so adventure fans who don't mind open-ended narratives will be pleased.

    At times, The World Before failed to impress some of its important plots upon me. The narrative is so rife with small inconsistencies that you can't help but notice them, and character models look so poor against those luscious backgrounds. But the more you get engaged with this seemingly simple story, the more you want to find out how it ends.
