Nov 17, 2021Surviving The Aftermath is a competent enough entry in the “keep your tiny people alive by making sure they’re collecting enough resources and researching the right things to spend them on” genre, But a quantity over quality approach to systems and an uninspiring setting mean that the lingering echoes of better games make me wish I just was playing those instead.

Oct 29, 2020Whilst there's lots here to keep fans of management and colony building games entertained, there's still a lot that needs to be worked on. The use of 'specialists' who explore the world map, feel like they need an overhaul so that this part of the game is more engaging, and the point of having them feels more important to the overall wellbeing of your colony. The fact it's in early management still is good, as hopefully these issues will be addressed, and the actual colony building side of the game provides a lot of fun. [Early Access Provisional Score = 60]
