    Old school beat 'em up, made with love and respect to the community. One of few things that makes me feel nostalgia

    Um dos melhores jogos que eu já joguei, fiquei aguardando por anos para poder jogá-lo. O jogo tem um gráfico muito bonito, uma jogabilidade muito fluida e gostosa de se jogar, a dificuldade é muito boa (às vezes muito irritante, mas não de uma maneira ruim e sim de uma maneira boa!) o jogo tem uma trilha sonora muito bacana, tendo todos os artistas originais dos clássicos juntamente com osUm dos melhores jogos que eu já joguei, fiquei aguardando por anos para poder jogá-lo. O jogo tem um gráfico muito bonito, uma jogabilidade muito fluida e gostosa de se jogar, a dificuldade é muito boa (às vezes muito irritante, mas não de uma maneira ruim e sim de uma maneira boa!) o jogo tem uma trilha sonora muito bacana, tendo todos os artistas originais dos clássicos juntamente com os novos para esse game, o jogo é totalmente sem palavras para descrever isso, o jogo é fenomenal, eu agradeço profundamente a todos os desenvolvedores envolvidos por nos proporcionar essa grande obra de arte que é o STREETS OF RAGE 4, podem comprar sem receios, garanto que se você jogou os jogos de gênero Beat'm Up, você irá adorar, acredite!… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First at all, the game it's funny. So good as far.
    The gameplay reminds the SoR 2, of Sega Megadrive. The com plays dirty on higher level, wich makes you take out your best to get the higher rank, as if you want tho. The music it's just amazing. And the boss mode test your might in game.    … Expand

    I had fun playing this with a friend co-op. As a single player game I'd give it a 7 but as co-op its an 8

    I was very wary of this game, since I didn't like the art style in the previews, but in the end, it's quite enjoyable. It feels like Streets of Rage. The music especially is very much in line with the originals, and beating the snot out of Galsias feels as satisfying as ever.
    That being said, some things went wrong.
    -Primarily the invincibility frames on enemies. While I get giving it to    I was very wary of this game, since I didn't like the art style in the previews, but in the end, it's quite enjoyable. It feels like Streets of Rage. The music especially is very much in line with the originals, and beating the snot out of Galsias feels as satisfying as ever.
    That being said, some things went wrong.
    -Primarily the invincibility frames on enemies. While I get giving it to bosses or bruiser characters on wakeup, this game goes way overboard with it. The original SOR2 cranked up the difficulty by making enemies faster and more numerous.
    -The combo mechanic, while a good idea in theory, disadvantages slower characters. The timer runs out way too quickly.
    -Enemy variety is extremely limited
    -The game is too long for a single comfortable playthrough really (clocking in at 2 hours vs 1 hour for the originals). A shorter length but branching paths would have been a better variant.
    -Art style is questionable. SOR always had a more realistic and less cartoony approach.
    -Hit impact sounds feel tame compared to SOR2

    This game could have really been great with a few minor adjustments. There's a lot to love here, and i'm interested to see where they will take the franchise next. Some more DLC characters or levels could be fun. Or a level editor.    … Expand

    Con todo, creo que Streets of Rage 4 es un juego superior a la media y un buen regalo para todos los fanáticos de la saga. Estos son parte de mis recuerdos de infancia y es por eso que siento mucha fortuna de ver este juego cobrar vida y espero ver otro juego de Streets of Rage en el futuro cercano. Sin embargo, me gustaría ver algunas mejoras, especialmente en el departamento deCon todo, creo que Streets of Rage 4 es un juego superior a la media y un buen regalo para todos los fanáticos de la saga. Estos son parte de mis recuerdos de infancia y es por eso que siento mucha fortuna de ver este juego cobrar vida y espero ver otro juego de Streets of Rage en el futuro cercano.     How is this game receiving so much praise, I don't get it, it's incredibly cheap, cheesy, stereotyped and linear. I bought it to play co-op online, we beat it in a few hours. It felt like pretty much the same games we had in the arcades 30 years ago, simpler if possible.     + juggling enemies

    + grabbing throwables while in air
    + good controls

    An intense beat 'em up with nice OST. This game is for veterans who have nostalgy about 90's.

    They pulled a bait-and-switch. They started with a traditional set of characters, including an atractive chick, but then added woke characters. It's the same attack they do in movies and shows -- they take a franchise that we love, and use it to surprise us and shove politics down our throats.

    Great fighting dynamics, and perfect art direction in every way. However, the game is limited, the modes that you release after the story are not good enough to hold the player in the game, the story makes no sense and conflicts with itself.     We take an old game and release it with modern graphics. We get the old game in the modern world. And this is a big disadvantage. It is necessary to introduce new mechanics so that the game somehow stands out against the general background, nostalgia alone is not enough.

    Even remakes introduce something new. But this game didn't.

    It’s no secret that beat ’em ups are better in co-op, but it’s especially evident with SoR4. If you’re playing on your own, prepare to get juggled to death, but if you bring a friend or two – you’ll be the one having a party. [Issue#246, p.54]

    Simply put, this is the return that fans have been waiting for. Streets of Rage 4 delivers in so many ways that the $24.99 price point seems more than reasonable with all the included content, even with the short story mode. It may prove to be overwhelming for those unfamiliar with what it brings to the table, but you can’t deny how much love was put on the screen for beat-’em-ups and this franchise in general. If you can take the heat, you should absolutely jump in and send a signal that this is a game worth playing.
