May 2, 2020good game , even more enjoyable when playing online or in local couch co-op mode, bit pricey I thought as the main campaign was completed in 3hrs, and the other modes have limited appeal, am getting a bit bored of it after just 5 hrs play.

May 2, 2020Well, its "Street of rage" definitely, loyal to the original ones. But actually too loyal! some game-play bugs are steel there specially in movement and fighting. Music and UI are great. Overall, worth it to spend money and time. Thanks SEGA.

Jun 27, 2021Crashes, disconnects, freezes, lag. Enemies are more mobile than you, can attack at angles, and pretty much any time they do a jump attack, you're gonna take a hit. Game is overrated as ****.

Jun 21, 2020++
Jun 22, 2020The fighting system is very straightforward to the point of being boring. The game is only 2-3 hours, not really worth the $20. The graphics are nice though. Coop is a plus

Aug 7, 2021Old school beat 'em up, made with love and respect to the community. One of few things that makes me feel nostalgia
-
Apr 10, 2021Good old beat em up. Brought nice memories of the original, feels good, but nothing special.
-
Jul 17, 2022An intense beat 'em up with nice OST. This game is for veterans who have nostalgy about 90's.

Feb 21, 2022We take an old game and release it with modern graphics. We get the old game in the modern world. And this is a big disadvantage. It is necessary to introduce new mechanics so that the game somehow stands out against the general background, nostalgia alone is not enough.
Even remakes introduce something new. But this game didn't. -

Game World Navigator MagazineJun 30, 2020It’s no secret that beat ’em ups are better in co-op, but it’s especially evident with SoR4. If you’re playing on your own, prepare to get juggled to death, but if you bring a friend or two – you’ll be the one having a party. [Issue#246, p.54]
-
CD-ActionJun 25, 2020It’s much more friendly towards newcomers than the arcade classics and yet it doesn’t put off the veterans of the genre. A sequel worth of its predecessors. [07/2020, p.76]

Jun 10, 2020Simply put, this is the return that fans have been waiting for. Streets of Rage 4 delivers in so many ways that the $24.99 price point seems more than reasonable with all the included content, even with the short story mode. It may prove to be overwhelming for those unfamiliar with what it brings to the table, but you can’t deny how much love was put on the screen for beat-’em-ups and this franchise in general. If you can take the heat, you should absolutely jump in and send a signal that this is a game worth playing.
