For such a lovingly put together package of classic 2D Street Fighters it’s hard not to be consistently impressed by developer Digital Eclipse and publisher Capcom’s effort. The fact that the arcade monitor filter, which gives each game a vintage arcade cabinet look, is pulled off at all – let alone is as impressive as it is – speaks volumes to the quality of this collection. An essential release for Street Fighter fans.

A top-notch collection of all 2D-era milestones of the Street Fighter series, many of which are still very playable today.

It won't satisfy every specific demand, but it's still a big collection of awesome games and behind-the-scenes content that no Street Fighter fan should miss. Street Fighter is a series worth celebrating and Digital Eclipse has managed to do so in a manner that feels respectful to the series and to the people who keep the spirit of arcade battles alive.

A collection that is primarily based on the player's nostalgic mood, offering twelve classic games and a decent online mode. It is a nice recap for newcomers too, although it will not, perhaps, keep them occupied for too long.

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is crafted for the fans, first and foremost. It’s a rich and generous game, which only lacks some more options while playing online.

I wish HD Remix had been included in this collection (though the price still should've been a lot lower). I wonder if Capcom excluded it knowing how quality it was, and plan to sell it standalone later. Full Review »

I really enjoyed the various editions of SF2 as an adolescent, so I was curious how well the other old-school SF games measured up. AlthoughI really enjoyed the various editions of SF2 as an adolescent, so I was curious how well the other old-school SF games measured up. Although SF Alpha 3 and SF3 Third Strike are the other gems in this bundle, I found that I nevertheless enjoy the familiar SF2 Turbo and Super SF2 Turbo games the most. Unfortunately, the difficulty for the otherwise great Super SF2 Turbo seems busted because the computer is very challenging regardless of which difficulty setting you choose. Full Review »
