Aug 25, 2023Very good game. I enjoyed playing this game a lot. I strongly recommend this.
-

Apr 30, 2016Interface is atrocious, Just requested a refund, It's not playable on 1080p TV because the fonts are tiny the tutorials completely unreadable. Horrible design. Avoid, The concept seems nice ... packaged badly.
-
Jan 25, 2016Horrible, horrible control system. No tutorial. I want a fun game not to have to learn drive all over again...........................................

Feb 22, 2015DLC hit us. It's so full of content that it hurts. New side missions, we got Secrets of Aethera storyline missions, new stations, ships. I can make my own weapon now. DLC is well worth the money so check it out.
I will not review SPG2 here because there are many reviews of the game. I will just say that it's not X, Eve, Elite or Star citizen. And that's a good thing. -
Feb 3, 2015As far as tactical combat simulators go, this one hit the bullseye. With a right amount of combat, leveling, RPG elements and exploring, this game is a keeper. I didn't expect much, but I got much, much more than I expected.
-
Feb 3, 2015Pure awesomeness summed in two words and one number - Starpoint Gemini 2.
I'm waiting for original SPG port to Starpoint Gemini 2 engine, regardless of the fact that this game is perfect as it is now. I just want moar stuff! -
Feb 3, 2015Just one word describes Starpoint Gemini 2 - Masterpiece.
From the first moment when you enter the game and get a hang of controls, this game grabs you and doesn't let you go. Beautiful galaxy and cool story just push you to go further and further. Good job devs! -
Feb 3, 2015My father somehow got me into gaming and into space genre specifically. He gave me Scifi books to read when I was little and I got hooked up on space games. This game got me addicted and craving for more in no time! Give it a chance.
MORE!!!! -
Feb 3, 2015Ever dreamt of flying a huge ship with hundreds of crew in deep space? Ever wanted to battle cocky pirates and show them who's the boss? Ever wanted to explore the unknown regions of space? You did? Ah, so you played Starfleet Command. Ok, now assume command in Starpoint Gemini 2, cause it's all that and better!

Feb 3, 2015Starpoint Gemini 2 thoroughly impressed at Gamescom. It is so chock full of great features that it should be on the radar of every fan of space combat games. It's fun and highly addictive, and the game was not money grab because developers are contantly developing new and free content. DLC will probably cost something, but I want them to take my money. The game is awesome.
-
Feb 3, 2015It doesn not have multiplayer. That's it. Everything else is perfect! And after more then 100 hours in it, i can't say that it doesn't even need multiplayer. Highly recommended!!!
-
Feb 3, 2015After the first Starpoint Gemini, developers decided to bring it to the next level. They corrected all issues that were visible in the first game, added tons of new features, gave us modding support and everything in 3D. This game is a miracle and it has huge potential. Already sunk 300 hours in it and I'm not stopping. Help!

Feb 2, 2015This game can be as cute as it gets, and at the same time dark and tense. Immersion is beautiful and you will easily burn a hundred hours in it. Developers promised even more content updates so it will stay on my computer for a long, long time. :-)

Feb 2, 2015As an avid lover of space games, and proud owner and worshipper of the first Starpoint Gemini, I can't say a bad word about this one. It leveled up multiple times compared to the original and it fully epic geared and ready to conquer girl. Looking forward to see what will come next.
-
Feb 2, 2015If you expect space sim like Elite where you're in your little fighter, you're not getting it. If you expect epic space battles like in Enterprise or Star Destroyer (you can fly both with mods), you're in the right place. Epic game!
-
Feb 2, 2015I missed the beta and all those good things I heard back then because I wanted to wait for full release. Now I feel left out cause I didn't take part in the Early Access progress, but I still enjoy playing this game because it's bloody awesome! Keep up the good work LGM!
-
Feb 2, 2015I just adore this game. First Starpoint Gemini was good, but this one is beyond description. Everything is perfect in this game. If you don't trust me, try to see what players think. Or PC Gamer for that matter.
-
Feb 2, 2015Oh yes. It's single player, allright. But it's one of the most enjoyable ones I've ever played! This thing has a huge potential and it's constantly updated by devs so you can't go wrong here. I loved the first game but this one is 5 times better.

Feb 2, 2015That's it. I loved Freelancer and this is what I've been waiting for. Now it's here. And it's here to stay since DLC will soon be out, expansion is in production and new mods are getting released weekly. Thank you, God.

Feb 2, 2015Starpoint Gemini 2 has everything and it's a great game. Learning curve is not as steep as EvE Online's but since it's a space tactical combat sim, it still takes some time to get a hang of it. After you do, you will be rewarded with a fantastic experience.

CD-ActionJan 9, 2015SG2 has everything that makes space sims great, but despite its complexity is accessible enough to make it a wonderful first step into the genre. [13/2014, p.64]

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Dec 3, 2014It is a vast universe with endless possibilities - nothing more, nothing less. If you prefer solo play and you have a vivid imagination give the game a chance. Otherwise leave it be. [Issue#247]

Dec 1, 2014An enjoyable single player space romp with a steep learning curve. Ignore the campaign and persevere with the sandbox for a rewarding experience.
